Those who I've come to know over the years have no doubt witnessed the evolution in my skills at drawing. From the very first time I painted with a mouse in MSPaint (You guys on NinDB might remember this) to full-on using a tablet to paint in Photoshop, I've always loved hearing what people say about my drawings.

So now I have a PS3.

Now I can finally play the games everyone is talking about that doesn't include the shit I've been forced to suffer through on my Wii. I have a feeling the PS3 is going to kick a lot of ass in the near future, while the Wii...not so much.

While I love Nintendo, I don't feel like they know what they're doing for the past genereation of gamers. This isn't a console war to them, it's a playground. 360 and PS3 seem to get along just fine, judging by how many games both of them share, while the Wii hangs out by the younger kids trying to act cool because he's older.

He'll pull out a pocket knife and all the little kids will be like "Oh, cool!" but their moms will disapprove of their children hanging out with the Wii, so the Wii starts an excersise regime for the mothers.

That's not the kind of person (console) I'd want to be associated with.

Now, back to reality. I do have to admit that the new Metroid Other M (While having the dumbest name ever) looks really good, and may actually be the next Wii game I buy. But Mario Galaxy 2 looks like the same old same old, 'cept with Yoshi.

My first video game system was a Genesis. I played Sonic. Now, games like "Shadow the Hedgehog" spit at my childhood. My next system was a PS1, which I loved so much that I bought a PS2 years later...BUT, my point is, the reason I loved the PS1 was because of games like Crash Bandicoot. Naughty Dog became one of my favorite developers. Then they created the "Jak and Daxter" franchise which I also loved. Though "Jak II" had guns, they were still cartoony and fun. I decided not to even play "Jak III" though because it took a more somber tone, apparently. Now, Naughty Dog comes out with a realistic game centered around guns (Uncharted: Drakes Ruin) on the ever popular, PS3.

Also, how is "Halo 3" innovative? According to a video game awards show, "Halo 3" is the most innovative game of the year.

And another thing, how many more first person shooters do we really need? There are thousands on them on the Xbox360!

I hate to rant, but I'd just like to express my opinions. Nintendo is the best thing (In my opinion) that has happened to video gaming since, forever. I'm not a fanboy. Just a fan.

And finally, Guitar Hero is not hardcore. Neither is Rock Band. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Well, I know what I'm getting for Christmas, and it's a Wii Zapper and Umbrella Chronicles (for the Wii, obviously).

Still haven't beat Mario Galaxy yet...I kinda gave up on it. I have about 70 stars, and I'm not ready to fight Bowser yet...

My art skills continue to decline, and I continue to not have a scanner. I have another pic I drew that I will be uploading (from my friends computer and scanner).

I also continue to stare blankly at walls. So yeah, for a good time call...wait I can't give out my number...dammit.
