Hummm what did I do today... well only got out of bed at 1pm today! : O Only got up then because Alana came in to ask if I was going to pike on her today. I said I wanted to go shopping with her, so we may as well do our flat grocery shopping the same time.
By the time I was ready to leave home it was after 2. We headed off to the mall and started some retail therapy. I forgot how satisfying shopping is!! I limited myself to one thing xD a new bag. That was because Bling was having a MASSIVE sale, 50% off everything otherwise I wouldn't have bought anything. So I got a cute, big, white bag that will hopefully fit my laptop in, so voila - I have another bag to take to uni. At least my mum can't tell me off for buying more stuff I don't need ... oh, wait. I didn't need it. xD

Then we headed of to New World to do some grocery shopping. We neglected it last week 'cos we've all been super busy finishing assessment. The veges we had left were definitely on their last legs the last couple of days, so we went out for sushi last night. Jojis - the best in town, hadn't been there for ages. I forgot how good miso soup is. :3 Gah, I keep getting off track lol. Yeah, we did food shopping.

We then came home. I spent some time on the net. Then made dinner. Watched the start of Shanghai Knights in the lounge, then came in my room to do some stuff on the net. And here I am now. So, that's my uber fun day. Har har. Tune in next time! : P

I had a good talk to Pip at work/volunteering thing on Saturday and feel much calmer and sane, yay.
I don't sleep too well, so I've figured instead of lying in bed awake, I may as well use that time to do work. So I've made a super-cool new schedule, which surprise surprise, so far I've stuck to, and oh-my-goshes it's amazing how much work you can do in 19 hours a day. I think I may be be ahead by the end of the week! It also helps that they've cancelled law tutorials the last week of term. *Love*

So yeah. That's my update a day or two later. *Happy*

For once, I’m going to be straight to the point without brushing things aside, sugar coating anything or putting the Jen “everything-will-be-alright-and-happens-for-a-reason” spin on things. My nerves are shot, I think I’m actually about to break down! You know that saying, “life’s a bitch and then you die”? True 100%. I’m right there at the moment, life sucks; I want to just quit everything and die. No that’s not completely true (oh noes here comes some of that sugar coating…, I don’t actually want to die, I just wanna quit everything, go home, see mum & dad and hide in a corner.

Where to start, where to start. I’ll start with what tipped me over the edge today. Ok, I have two mammoth essays due this term on top of the assignments et cetera, et cetera, so I figure 6 weeks for one and 2 weeks for the other not quite so big or important one. Yes sorted. Nice plan but aah, no. Thank god for the ability to sweet talk my way into anything; I got the lecturer to have a read through of my essay and he basically said “interesting direction but doesn’t really answer the question so don’t hope for anything better than a B, probably best to start again”. Need. Higher. Than. That. To. Maintain. Grade. Average. For. Honours. D: So yeah, two weeks and two essays to do as well as all the other standard junk. Right there, I’m so going to die! Bring on the 18 hour days in the library!!

Deux, our flat is being sold. Supposedly. No one is interested in buying it (long story to do with the way they’re selling all their rentals as one property). They’re keeping us hanging whether we’re staying next year or if we have to find somewhere else. Student rental lists come out any day now. Nice one guys, the added stress makes us feel nice and tingly inside, thanks.

11 weeks till final exams. <- Enough said. It’s not humanly possible to cram in the amount of information we’ve been learning this year. My brain’s already beyond saturation; it’s already failing! You’ve all seen it! XD

Boys suck. I’m not going to go into detail as I’ll start crying more than I am right now! Not a pretty sight. I live with four girls, and we’re all having slightly different boy issues! Uncanny.

It’s my best friend of nearly 17 years 21st birthday in a couple of weeks and I can’t be up north at home for it. That makes jenneh especially sad. The week after one of my close high school friend’s getting married, and again I can’t be there for it.

Seems like everything’s exploding or dying lately, I’m flat broke from replacing everything. Can’t get a job because of amount of coursework, school commitments, varying hours of class times, volunteering on Saturdays (can’t give that up, experience is valuable) and so on. *Rips out hair*

Worse of all I can’t talk to mum about any of it as she worries about me enough already when she thinks I’m fine.
So, plan of action! ‘Cause they’re always fun and I’ve ranted on for faaar too long now. Take a day or two to calm down. Talk to the on-duty solicitor who doubles as a counsellor xD at the Centre tomorrow and hopefully return to the previously scheduled happy-go-lucky Jen by next week … or at least at the end of term. Two weeks! *Happy dance*

Haha look, I’m already procrastinating by doing this. Wow, that’s an impressive new record for me!

I've just got back from a quiet weekend out in the wops and feel like I need to download and talk to someone but the house is empty!! (Not that I'm complaining heh.) So I'm just going to blab here until I get bored. (That gives me what, a minute or two?!)
Well... Wow, that was far less than a minute - I'm bored already!
Ho hum. I'm loving being home. It's strange how you know you miss something, but don't realise how much till you get back. It's like the reverse of the whole 'you don't know what you've got till it's gone'. I guess I try not to let myself miss home when I'm at university, it would make things so much harder. Besides, I have a blast in Christchurch. *Freeeeeedommm*

I'm on HOLIDAY for five weeks, I'm freaking thrilled. I'm making myself do virtually nothing for 2-3 weeks of it (We'll see how that pans out ) and the other 2-3 weeks to write one (yes, one ) essay. That should be no sweat after the first semester. Occasionally I'd have to crank one out in 2-3 days. I bet I'll over analyse the topic and get marked down for it! *Rolls eyes*

What else, what else. Oh, going home for 5 weeks (Well more like 4 by the time I've gone tomorrow) means I get a break from all my commitments here. -- This doing nothing thing might actually happen! That is until my mum yells at me for /watching too much tv/lying around too much/spending too much time on the computer/spending too much time out/ etc etc etc. Can't win.
Knowing me I'll pick up a few new things to keep me busy. I can't help it. I think I'm OCD in that sense too - always have to be doing /something/. = P

Anywho, my 3rd load of washing for today just beeped... time to go hang it out. (That make 7 loads in just over a day - I think that's more than I've done all year! = P)

Gah, trying to buy music in NZ online suckssss. Every site I found with the song I wanted says 'sorry, you have to be in US to purchase this track' *stabs - die die die*. No one wants my money! XD
AND NOW COKETUNES IS CLOSING DOWN! What am I going to do? XD
Oh and while I'm ranting, I may as well say: VISTA sucks, it isn't working properly on my computer or something. Gawd the issues are endless. Especially, the only loading about four images on a page before having a freakout, meaning I've gotta refresh before anymore will load (xlots). If anyone knows that on earth that is (it's probably something I've done, rather than a vista problem xD).

One of my roommates mum put together a city wide easter egg hunt for us, as 3/4 of us had never had one before. Talk about deprived childhoods!! We went to a Coffee Culture on the other side of town, then to the beach - the Pier, then to a giant rock and then various places around Alana's mums house. So much fun.
Time for dinner - yay some proper food. xD
