hmm ok, keeping in the spirit of a journal and the snazzy new subscriber features.. I'll tell you guys what I did today! (with pictures too O_O)

Today I was cleaning my bunnies' cages, and in order to get to the spot where I dump the bedding I walk past our pool. When I walked past it today I saw a salamander in it O.O So I of course took it out because it would have drowned DDD: So then, being the animal lover that I am, I couldn't help but to set up a little terrarium for it as you can see here : D (we have lots of extra aquarium/terrarium equipment in our attic, so I didn't have to buy anything xD) He's a spotted salamander and his name is Fred n_n Isn't he cute? ^.^

1. This week I went out in a pair of sandals, a light fleece, rolled up pajamas, frozen hair, and no gloves, made a snowman and ate some snow.

2. I am obsessed with rabbits... like seriously. I have three rabbits, my desk is covered in countless rabbit related things, they are the thing that I doodle most often, etc.

3. About 80% of the time that someone says something I am reminded of a song.

4. I hate April Fool's day.. probably because I trust people too easily.

5. I'm not very happy if I feel like I haven't been doing enough art.

6. Psychology really intrigues me.

7. I am fairly cautious about the way I use my time and get really anxious when I feel like I've wasted it.

(and just so you know, that hard drive (thankfully this was just one of two, and not my only hard drive) had all of the 38 thousand pictures that I've ever taken in my entire life, my adobe photoshop programs, over 400 songs, every photoshop picture that I've ever worked on (including the one that I was currently working on that was, in my opinion, one of the best pieces of art that I have done so far in my life, and I had been working on that for at least 50 hours so far), and many other files that I really wouldn't want to lose)

So, my dad sends it to a guy who has special machines that specifically made for extracting information from hard drives. That didn't work. Then that guy sends the hard drive to another person who had a higher level of machine. That doesn't work either. Then he sends it to a place where they literally dismantle the hard drive and take the disk out of the hard drive and put a new hard drive around it. (mind you, this is all rather costly, like, well over $300, and just for some freak accident)

But, the good news is that this latest endeavor actually succeeded in reviving the files. I just found this out about 3 hours ago. You can not imagine my relief. This was easily comparable to having a loved one in critical condition in the hospital, and you didn't know whether or not they would make it.

I'll be getting the hard drive back on Monday.

I had the weirdest dream last night. I was at this place that looked like a golf course, and you could fight people in the sand pit things. The funny thing was that all of them were naruto characters. You could like, wait on one side of the sand pit thing to get to fight the next person in line on the other side. The funniest part was that I got to fight Itachi, and for some reason I was Naruto 0.o... I remember throwing batteries at him so that I could blow them up with a fire jutsu. Oh man, did that hurt like heck! Less than a minute later I had a swollen purple spot on my knee about the size of a marble. It didn't really help that I was in the middle of an intense pickleball tounament either (pickleball, for all of you who don't know, is a sport similar to tennis, just a smaller version. The court is fairly small, and you use smallish plastic or wooden paddles. You can play with either a wiffle ball or a tennis ball)... or that I had to go to track practice right after PE ended. Oh well, I survived. At least I got to practice hurdles during track practice! I love hurdling soooo much. Its probably my favorite event, and I felt like I was improving as well (hooray!) I was pretty energetic, wich helped with all the other running that I had to do during practice (such as sprinting up hills)... It is such a pain to run when you are tired, or your legs are killing you, wich mine weren't, thankfully. They havn't felt as good as they did today in a reeeallly long time. Anyways... this was a really long journal entry, and if you are actually still reading it than I am slightly surprised... I should probably get back to submitting more deviations that I have ready to submit. ^_^
