Just realized I had not posted any news for almost a year! HAHAHA!!!! So working full time for a year is bad on my inspiration. Nada came out of this brain. But, I'm back in the game, should have a piece posted by the beginning of March.

On another note, I started a second bachelor's degree in translation. I am pretty excited and, for now, quite glad of my choice since I'm getting really good grades. Apparently, boring classes are good for my creativity...

'till next time

Sorry for the lack of updates. I am currently working full time and spend most of my free time trying to figure out what I want to do with my life and all the questions that go with it.

Mostly, for the last month, I have been planning a vacation to Istanbul. I'm leaving next friday and hope to be able to post the other drawing that is on the way. I've had a very busy two months and a couple of adjustment in my life to make but i'm getting back on track!

Right now, I still do not have a scanner, but I updated my camera and i'm using pictures to post my new stuff (I do prefer scans tough). But anyways. I'm working on a surprise on photoshop...might take months tough before it's ready...

My creativity as made it's vacation spur already and two pieces are on the way! I'm very glad that all that school hasn't killed the left side of my brain!

Meanwhile, Merry Christmas everyone and a very good year!

Well, I still don't have a scanner. Although I have two pieces awaiting to be put here. Let's just say that school has taken a lot of my time. I think teachers are mad and say : Let's give them too much work, half of them will drop out and we'll be fine for the next semester. I swear, i'm not even the worst and i'm crawling under stuff to read.
I have recess in two weeks, so I will at least had a couple of photos and maybe a B&W piece since I can't scan color at my parent's.

Well, till then, back to business.

Well, I'm still alive and still working. I just haven't found a solution to my scanner problem yet (thinking of buying one). Tried to scan my stuff at my dad's but its an old scanner and the colours came out really bad. On another hand, I finally managed to get my poster scanned. It needs a bit of work before I can put it on but it looks quite nice!

I'm still setling down in my new appartment too. Restaured an old wood paneled 1957 singer sewing machine desk and now been sewing like crazy with said sewing machine. I did a new woodburned engraving but mostly been browsing around for ideas.

Leaving behind three years living with a caracter-depressive roomate now makes me feel like I'm on top of the world so I guess I'll be around soon again.

Plus, since we're having the jazz festival in Montreal, I'm working like crazy. So, I don't have internet at home right now, will have it back on the 3rd and then...no more scanner. I do have something coming on but I don't know how i'm gonna scan it yet. So, I'll won't be around for a couple of days still!

My parents house is paradise. There is no other way I could consider it. Green lush grass, beautiful colorful flowers, trees everywhere, no cars, no noise, a big empty house (cause my parents are at work) all windows open with a gentle breeze coming in and celtic music playing on the stereo. I could do that forever!!

Take this week : public transport strike. I had to walk 45 minutes everyday to get to work under blazing afternoon sun with a temperature of 32 degree celsius. I don't think even hell is as bad. On another note, had another idea for a drawing but it might take some time before I do it, I'm behind schedule on my paper for Italy. I'm doing the arab influence on Sicilia and I don't know how but it's giving me ideas...Or maybe it's the heat...

Anyways, going home for 2 days, breathe fresh air and fill my need in visual "green".

So, took me a little longer to update. Let's just say that the tiny three days off I had were good for my moral and for my blood pressure which is usually below what is considered normal. So it took my body a few days to adjust to the drop, and a considerable amount of alcool so I could stand up without wavering. All in all, school is a mess on my system. On the other hand it gave me more time to draw, sitting in front of the tv. So for the next three days, before I leave for Italy, there will be an update a day! I don't know if i'll be able to draw during my trip, so I don't know how much time will pass before an update after that.

Ciao!

Through a take-home exam of circa 15 pages, the prospect of 3 workdays doing the close of friday, saturday and sunday, and an exam on monday and two on tuesday I've actually been able to accomplish some drawing...Maybe because I was going mad being alone in my appartment for 2 weeks...The only downside, I can't use my roomate scanner, she left with her USB key and she has a dial-up modem so even a small drawing takes an eternity to load and I don't have that kind of time to waste. So, no update until I go to my parents which means 5 days. I can't wait, in 5 days I will be school free. I will work a bit and then, one week later, ITALIA!!! vado da te! Meanwhile, I'll go back to crying on the stuff I have to do between here and then. Ciao tutti!

I've picked up an old drawing I had started some time ago and not finished and i've got a few ideas to finish it now! A big knotwork piece. And I've also been inspired by an artwork piece on deviantART to finally write that freeking novel idea i've had for the past 6 years trotting around in my head. I'm having a post-it frenzy about it. As to actually writing it...we'll have to see after Italy and the paper i've got to do for it!
