so... technically (since it's 4AM) I'm 18 tomorrow... I'm gonna be old! D:

no like I'm realizing how much the world has changed since I was a kid. like... my first video game console was the SNES, which I doubt many of you know what that acronym stands for. An just the change in everything... like I have a phone that plays music, goes on the internet, takes pictures, etc. but damn... what a huge change! I used to have a portable cassette player and I thought I was all cool and shit XD now I don't think they even make cassettes anymore, and it's blu ray? don't even get me started... but... I miss the old days... I miss the 90's, when I grew up... like how simple life was as a kid. no chores, no getting jobs, or school... not having to deal with people... those were the days... but it was all so easy and everything was so new as a kid. got up at nine and went to bed at seven XD man... and you wanna know something? when I was a kid I had one of those car shaped beds! yeah I really did! it was so cool! just the fact it was shaped like a car was good enough for me. it didn't have like a steering wheel or anything, but I remember pretending to drive and stuff, making the sounds and stuff. but now I have just a metal bed frame and a mattress... things get boring as you get older... yeah... and I miss the old cartoons they used to have! doug, rocko's modern life, rugrats, angry beavers, those were my favourites... and for you young kids, I was before spongebob! yeah, I saw when it first aired, the first episode, and when they had the flintstones and the jetsons and the smurfs and stuff on cartoon network, thats how young I am... I only missed one year of the 90's, the rest of it, I lived!

so yeah... basically I miss my childhood since technically by tomorrow I'll legally be an adult and I'm just remembering the good times of my past... cause 18 is a big year... yeah... well... happy birthday to me I guess...

I strummed an acoustic guitar and listened to the echo reverberating. If you can hear it, it rings in a way that makes you calm... and if gone uninterrupted, it can be heard for almost five minutes, it is so beautiful when I really sat and listened to it I started crying, of all the times I strummed a guitar and never heard that sound... it made me sad, but the overwhelming power of that ringing tone made me feel peaceful.

In a song I heard a woman crying, just a repeating sound probably only a second or less long, but every time I hear it I feel the pain and pure beauty of the sorrow in that one sound. I never thought hearing someone cry would be a beautiful sound, but it was the release of pain that was beautiful, not the pain itself. Because that relief you have when you cry, that release of the pain, it's beautiful.

I stood in my shower with the water running for a little while, and how rhythmic it was, and tranquil, to hear a sound I hear every day, but sitting and listening to it, really hearing every droplet hit the floor or wall the pressure escaping the tap that is forcing the water out. Beautiful.

not much I know, and weird sounding I know... but maybe if you take a little while to really listen, maybe you'll hear that beauty, and I'm wondering, have any of you heard a sound so beautiful it made you cry? or did it just overwhelm you with a feeling of peace? if it's not to personal, I'd like to hear about it ^_^

it's been two years... wow... and I didn't even do anything to celebrate or commemorate this occasion! ... oh well, I didn't feel like it X3 I guess mentioning it counts... lol
ok, well just letting you all know since I didn't surprise anyone with a picture or something... I can't draw very well... OH WELL! thanks to all of my friends who have been there for me!
I feel kinda bad that I always flood your inbox with my journals about how depressed I am or stupid crap... I'll try to let up on that... this is one of my few outlets... so... yeah... um... and I like using this

"..." it's my favourite if you haven't noticed X3 sorry, I know some people think it's annoying, but it's how I symbolize a pause, like if I was talking to you and I paused, I use "..." to let you know, to show you, that if we were talking face to face, and I paused. cause just one, "." is boring and is at the end of a sentence which if I'm only pausing would be the incorrect punctuation.

and one more thing, are links safe again? cause I have pictures of all the characters from the band story and I thought it would be nice for ya'll to have a picture to go with the story, unless you like imagining whatever you want, then thats cool too, makes my job easier, you make the characters for me X3
