It's been a long while since we last posted new stuff on our page so here goes!

First of all we want to tell you why we couldn't post nothing here for this 2 last months, our ISP has been on soem problems with Proxies servers, this caused some of our friends to quit DA because this wouldn't able us to see anything, just small portions of it, such as some notes... nothing much! Our own DA main pages were also affected, but we gues that it is over now!

We haven't got any winner on our late wallpaper contest so we will relaunch it, with the still submitted wallpapers and the newer ones that you will submit! We are looking for more interaction, even if you don't want or don't feel like submitting anything you can still judge it! You just have to be a member to do so! The contest will continue until the end of November, to see more about it just take a look at our last journal, but in a fast description you just have to do a wallpaper based on vegetarian line of thinking and each of our members will submit a score for it! the winner will get his/her work on the featured deviation "box" for one month! We do hope that all of our members will go on with this contest! We want a bit more of interaction because it seems that this community stopped a bit...

Our next new thing is a new contest, this time you will get a bigger prize, the first prize will be a GMail The contest itself will be an avatar veggie battle, what does this mean? That we will take upon a challenge to create the best vegetarian avatar in this community! Once more this is open to all the members! And the one which get all the consensus from all members will be the new community avatar! So see this as a double award!
The score will be done in the same manner as the wallpape one was! From 0 to5 points! And in the end of november we will count them all, since creating an avatar will take a precious amount of time and school is starting!

Hope that we will get a bit more interactivity from you guys!

And one more request, we would be very happy to see all of your first time vegetarian stories, on what were your reasons or how did you started... whatever you wnat your story to be! Just send us a note with it or submit it and sned us a note with the link and we will do the rest!

We are starting a challenge in which you are the invited and the judge, of course all we ask of you is imparciality!

The real deal is you to make a veggie wallpaper for us and each of the member will comment and give his/her note from 0 to 5 points! And the one who reaches the biggest number of points will have his/her work displayed in the featured deviation until the next contest!

yes we are going to be a community that will host many contests and a lot of serious veggie stuff!

This contest will end on the 30th of September! So get busy and start posting! You just have to send a note to us with the link! All the deviations will be titled as +Wall+ and title! The already submitted wallpapers can also be subjected to voting, we will change their names today!

We still hope you to submit new recipes as we are being a bit weak on that subject and that is one of the things that really count when you are turning vegetarian! Oh and start on giving some facts on being vegetarian that can really help some of the new ones!

In a week this community grew at a fast pace, all due to our friends over at ~ vegans! Thank you!

As this community is getting bigger we would like you to start posting your articles, photos, paintings, recipes, whatever you like, either by notes to the founders or by their own deviations which have to be announced on our main page!

Hope you can take this seriously because it is a great boost to our way of life, and perhaps we can persuade more and more people to join us, in our cruelty-free lifestyle!

Oh! and we want you to know if you aren't a veggie/vegan you can always post your questions or doubts in ou mainpage, or even by noting the founders, just don't be shy! We all have to start somewhere!

Welcome

We've decided to make this page because of the lack of veggie-informing pages over DA, and it was done with a purpose, to inform all of our visitors, shall they be veggies, vegans or even none of these! We don't want to sell you this ideology, we are here only to educate you, on "regular" stuff that you are probably used to .

Knowing that deviantart is an art community we will post some veggie/vegan related creations, they can be either in the form of computer assisted graphics, pencil assisted graphics, flash animations, icons, poems and even recipes! (we guess this is the eagerly waited one! right? )


We are at our beggining stage so don't be upset if you can't find a thing!

Attention to all members: we want you to start to submit some recipes and articles on vegetarian lifestyle, in order to enrich our visitors horizon and to learn from each other!
