In other words: My inner procrastinator has been calling to me and I'm a lazy turd. 8(
I blame a lot of things. I don't feel like listing [all of] them right now.

Speaking of art, I'm probably going to give up on drawing Sonic-styled art [after the art trades] for a while. I really don't feel that I'm getting anywhere as an artist just drawing the same generic thing all the time. 8C
And I need a lot more practice with my human anatomy skills. D: Because I stink at them.
Adding to all this, I'm also planning a series of some sort. And I don't think I'll be too successful with it if it's Sonic-styled and whatnot. |:

Whenever I try to draw:

The eyes look wonky.
The muzzle looks weird.
The arms and legs are too long.
The torso is too big.

Also, I'm not finding DA as interesting as it was before. Every time I log on, I spend about a couple of minutes online at the most (when my friends aren't online to chat) because I just don't have the mood to check anything. I don't feel as home on DA as I did before.

Art wise, I just don't have the motivation to draw much anymore. When I pick up my pencil to try to at least doodle something, no ideas flow through my head like it had done before. Maybe it's just that I want to try drawing something different. I was always teased at school because I draw "absolutely nothing but Sonic". Then they start saying that my boyfriend is Sonic and I'm absolutely obsessed with him. I just wanted it to stop, but when I try drawing something else, I just don't feel happy at all with the result. I WILL still do the art trades and requests while waiting to get a new scanner, but it'll come along really slowly.

I will be lurking here once in a while to check if any of my friends are on, but don't expect much activity from me. *sigh*
