Have u ever been in a car accident?
last night i was involved in my second one

my girlfriend had just arrived at my house to pic me up and we decided to go out, were driving, and next thing u know BAM some stupid fuck didn't stopped in STOP sign and smashed right into our car, i cracked my head in the door, the car took 2 spins and stopped, i had to kick my way out because the door was jammed, thank god no one got hurt badly , only some bruises and cuts, but my girlfriend car was a total wreck

So IÂve finished submitting my old deviations, hope uÂve enjoyed the new changes

Now some news, some time ago I mention that I received a call regarding my participation on one of the most important photography contest in Portugal, the REFLEX award saying that I had been selected to be a finalist, so from more than 800 photographers 24 were selected to the finalist, I never expected to be one of the selected

The winners of the contest were announced on last Wednesday. No I did not win lol I didnÂt expected to win because to me it was a honour to be among all those professional photographers ( of the 24 selected only me and another girl were amateur photographers ) and I was pleased to find that the works of the 24 finalists are in a magazine, and are currently in a exhibition, and in a month are going to travel around the country to different exhibitions, so I am like

Alright so it was like this, a few months ago i did a serie that i called Kendo, i did this serie for a Contest , the Reflex award( [link]) , one of the most important contest in Portugal, and today i got a phone call from them telling me that one of my shots has been selected has a finalist

, so now instead of hundreds of professional and amateur photographers, i'm fighting the first place with only 26

, i don't care if i win or not, i'm already going to appear in the exhibition and in the magazine , i know i don't have a chance to win, but for me i already won

Its official, DA has hit lowÂwhat the fuck is going on here? Where is the quality control? Even today I was browsing DA and what do I see? A picture of a woman with a dick in her mouth cÂmon if I recalled this is still an Art site or no?? Every single day thereÂs more and more pornographic pictures running around DA, either it is those u think that artistic nude is simply having a naked woman taking a bath, laying on the ground, in a bed, or those stupid kids that seem to think DA is his personal blog or something like myspaceÂ
I am here on DA for 3 years now and I really miss the old days where we could find great artists and great art every where, IÂm thinking of contacting a few artists to try to do something to change DAÂ
Sorry for this but I am really disappointed with DAÂ. Please think before submitting somethingÂ and help DA to stay an art community has it once was Â.
