What a semester of classes. My GPA is almost where it needs to be [at 3.17, need 3.25], I'm at a place that has food, the family has a new kitten, I just got new origami paper, and I decided my major is going to be digital film. So here is to another summer. Hope you all the best of luck....perhaps I'll start swimming again this year.

Went to photo a comic today only to find my camera dead. First I thought it was just the batteries....three sets later I decided I need to go get a new one.



Also, my X-Box 360 broke!

That don't have anything to do with comics....ok I take that back...the 360 is why I don't make more origami. But its broke and I don't want to wait half a year for a new one! >.< *plans a way to get one sooner*

Many things have happend since my comic updates have slown into nothingness....First off, I was accepted into collage...they goin ta teach me to be a chef! However, the school is a couple hours from my house and they don't have dorms so I get to have an appartment. The place is small, but fits me perfect. Has a bedroom (which I may or may not use...I find comfort on the floor with my electronics ^^ ) a bathroom, a kitchen, and the living room. I moved in the last of my stuff today, and am moving in on Sunday. However I had to make some tough choices, the biggest one being DSL or cable. The DSL had faster internet speed but no televison, where the cable had lots of chanels but internet that was only 256k....so I decided that tv ain't all that important. I now have faster internet then I did at my house, and I'm running duel screens!

On another note, school starts Monday, and I'm schduled for 20 credit hours....I go from Monday-Friday 8-4....that should be a good one to kick my brain back into motion. Hopefuly this will mean more comics...but you never know.

3rd thing...I'm starting a new project....its sort of a fictional journal that I'll be keeping, basing it on my real life but trying to write somthing intrestering. This comes after deciding to learn to write stories and I figure what better why then to write every day. It will also incorporate audio files and perhaps some video or comics based on my new world. I'll post a link after I get that started.

The Rules
The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 weird habits/things/hates about yourself" and people who get tagged MUST write a journal about their 6 weird habits/things/hates as well as state this rule clearly. 1. I prefer the night over the day, but I'm deathly afraid of the dark...

2. I love theme park rides, but I'm afraid of heights...

3. I've slept on the floor for three years so far. I have a bed, but I find just find the floor more comfortable.

4. I get a paper-cut almost every day. And yes, they still hurt...

5. My favorite style of game is arcade shooters, and have beat, House of the Dead, Time Crises II, and got to the last level of Area 51. Also, on House of the Dead, I can fire off two clips, complete with reload, in less then two seconds.

6. The movies Men In Black, Ghostbusters, and Jurassic Park all gave me nightmares for a month. However, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Scream did nothing to me.

Ya, I'm weird...

So I'm taking a break from the series. However, I'm not done with origami. My new project will be a story I've been working on for a while. But with the prodject being so wordy, I won't be able to use my bubbles. Also, I'm tired of using backgrounds, so those might go.

So to recap, I'm done working on Rabbit vs. Squirrel for now to work on a different story.

December 18: Signed up for GIANT art trade/secret santa thing on another site. It had 41 people join this special art trade. All the names were put in a randomizer and people were sent who they were to make art for. The post date was set to January 18. (I would give more info, but we were asked to keep stuff secret)

December 19: CAR WRECK! I'm still recovering from that. I had actually planed to make a comic that day, instead I went to the ER for 5 hours. Basicly destorying any chance to work on my stuff. Then the week after I was too sore to do anything really.

December 25: CHRISTMAS!!! Got a camera and made a christmas comic. Planed on making another comic, but played video games instead.

December 29: Wanted to make comic, but had to go to grandparents house. That and I was still playing video games.

Jaunary 1: wanted to make a new years day comic, but was out playing with friends.

Jaunary 3: School started, and it killed my free time.

January 16: Finnishing up on my art trade. I've worked on it for weeks now and am almost finished! Most of the time was in origami design of person's character and writing a funny and pleasing story.

Jaunary 17: I plan to photo art trade.

January 18: Post and recieve art!

So, I wake up, get dressed, go to work, then over the intercom I hear..."Attention, It is Tim's birthday...Tim, come to the office please."

I get to the office, and they tell me "go home, you shouldn't work on your birthday." So, I go home!

Getting home I am met with a Pineapple upside-down cake, and a bag of gifts. Opening the bag, I find Robbin Hood (disney version ((my second favorate movie (((#1 is the fox and the hound, which I got for an early christmas gift))) )) ), The first season of the muppet show, and shadow of the colossus!

Being hit by that box of awsomeness made me forget to post on here that it was my birthday.



I also plan on making a rabbit vs squirrel 9 and 10 in the next couple weeks.

Right now I'm working on three or four things.

One is more creatures. As fun as these are, I could have much more fun with some others added. I added the bear in 7, and have been working on a fox and a roo. Lots of ideas with both, but I can't fold them right yet. The roo is vary close however, and should be making his entrance soon.

Second is fire. This will come in handy, that is if I can ever figure it out. As easy as it sounds, it's not. Mostly becouse real flames are hard to photo, and I'm too lazy to try it that many times. I do have a couple ideas though, so look for this soon also.

The 3rd and 4th things are better writing and photography. These will be the hardest parts, and will most likely come in small bits over a long period of time. (I still don't think my writing's all that bad, but some people say otherwise. but my photography does need some cleaning up, and that is being worked on.)


Well hope that gives you an idea on whats going on. Expect more comics whenever I get more time off...sometime between now and christmas. ]]> ~videogamer1217
