"Thinspiration"?

This pisses me off to no end...I log into DevArt and check the DD's and start browsing through the photography. Whenever a model that is really skinny is posted, 99% of the comments are "SHE NEEDS TO EAT" or "OMG HOLOCAUST VICTIM GROSSSS". Whenever an overweight model is posted in the DD's, the comments are all "THIS IS WHAT A WOMAN SHOULD LOOK LIKE" or "CURVES ARE BEAUTIFUL, I HATE BONES". I've noticed that it isn't ok to call a fat woman fat. But it's ok to call a skinny woman disgusting. There is this stigma that fat women can't help it and skinny women purposefully don't eat to achieve their bodies.

As someone who is underweight, these comments offend me. I've been this tiny my whole life, I struggle to put on weight. Because of this, I have been turned down from getting health insurance, I have been bullied at various jobs I've had, I've had to deal with strangers come up to me and tell me that I need to eat. Of course whenever I come back at them with "Well you need to stop eating", I get...

Sparkle Motion

I admit it...I'm a twilight fan. I think the books are so cheesy, but my inner 13 year old just loves it. So of course, I had to see the movie yesterday. It was just as cheesy as the book, if not more, and was really really cute. Jessica was a scene stealer, as was Emmett. I wish they had gone into the personalities of everyone more, instead of focusing on Bella and Edward. Oh well. The baseball scene was the best scene in the movie, the sparkling looked like Edward rolled in glitter, Jacob was really cute (sans bad wig), and I couldn't stop laughing at everything.

Plus...Oh hey thar Emmett, where have YOU been all my life?

And yes, the entire movie was spent thinking about how much better Harry Potter would have been. THANKS WARNER BROTHER...

My job sucks. I'm extremely anti social and my job is to tell rich bitches that their muffintops aren't that bad and they really should drop $300 on a pair of fucking jeans. Who cares if the economy is bad and you're looking at having your power cut off and you're facing eviction, you really need these goddamn jeans. umm...lets see...the tour with helltrash and psyclon nine was fun as hell...and now helltrash is planning yet another tour with another band. which means another month of me on the road. in my panties. drunk.

its going to be at club hexxt in atlanta. i'm really really really excited, especially because the theme night is zombie burlesque/mobster! AND I GET IN FREEEEEE. well...of course i get in free...i got in free last time (yay for having a boyfriend in an industrial band!)..i'm just so broke and i looooove snow's club.
