So, you're thinking of commissioning me? Great! Please bear a few things in mind as you read my prices:

It takes a large chunk of at least one day to complete a piece of artwork. Images will usually be completed within one or two weeks of receiving payment, but sometimes of course, like most people, I have other things I must attend to. Either way, you will be kept updated through the entire commission process, so you will never be left in the dark.

I generally do art on paper, scan, and adjust and colour it in Photoshop, with my Wacom tablet. If you want a print or original, we can work something out, just note or email me; there WILL be an extra charge for this. Please let me know if you want the original lineart before the comission begins, as I will have to be extra careful with protecting the lineart.

My images generally have a simple background, or none at all. Unfortunately I am not a background artist.

Before you commission me, take a look through my gallery; make a note of any styles of mine you are particularly fond of, and send me the links or image name in your note/email. I will consider these when creating your image.



..::CG Prices::..

Standard Full CG of a single character is $30 US, or £17 GBP.
For a second character, add $15 US, or £9 GBP.



..::B+W Lineart::..

Standard B+W price for a single character is $18 US, or £10 GBP.
For a second character, add $12 US, or £7 GBP.



..::Marker Colour::..

If you wish for Marker colouring, please add $10 US or £6 GBP per character to the B+W Lineart base price.



..::What I Need::..

You will need to provide me with a reference image, or a very detailed description. Unless the character is very simplistic, I will be unable to work from sprites. If you only have a sprite reference of your character, please send the sprite along with a description.

Pose information. If you have no particular preference for poses, or can't think of one, provide me with a personality reference of your character and I will pick one to suit.



..::What I Will/Won't Draw::..

I will draw anything Furry, Scaly, Feathered, Sonic, Anime, Anime-related (eg catgirls), and Lion King related. I can do videogame based art also, just let me know what the game is beforehand so I can research it.

I will NOT draw anything that would exceed a PG-13 rating in America. No yiff/fetish stuff. Basically, nothing I would not feel comfortable drawing.
Kissing and SOME tasteful nudity (example: [link]) is acceptable. I will draw heterosexual or homosexual couples, either is fine by me.

I prefer Paypal as a fast and secure way of making/receiving internet payments, as you can send the payment inyour native currency, or convert it to GBP before sending. [Cross posted from my journal, if you don't know everythint's going on, I don't want to really explain it again, so please don't ask. It's not just one thing, it's many many things.]

In the past four days now I have had a small pack of burger king chips, a baguette and a fifth of a pizza. I can't eat because I feel too sick.

I swear, I can't take any more of this. Life screws me over once again, and I have to just take it. I so desperately need someone to talk to and hug, right now. Even my Mom telling me not to cry and that she loves me over the phone... just reminds me of how alone I really am right now. I can't do this much longer, I am so lost.

[edit] I did something today, and I am not proud I did it at all. It seemed to help at the time but now I'm just lost again. It has just added to my feelings of selfishness, guilt, and how pathetic i must seem right now.

Noooo. I am not dead, yet, much to the dismay of a few people no doubt. And I am still broke. BUT hopefully I shall be getting some money soon to pay off stuff I owe to people.

But I do have a NEW AND SEXY means of doing more arts now..... Acer with 15.4" Widescreen... Yay!

Plus my Wacom and other tools, once I actually get started it should be good. Hurrah for Widescreen! Although it's frigging hard to find any wallpapers to fit it.

ANYWAY sorry for the lac of art and stuff. I have been incredibly lazy (save a couple of commishes) and have produced very little art-based work and spent most of my time playing World of Warcraft. D:

Kay, I put my stuff back up on SA. Don't know how long it's gonna stay up there. But the comments thread that I posted in about "Leet Technologies" means I got flamed for it. [since I said Leet Tech was, in polite words, a stupid name. And I stand by it.]

It's been dead for a week, then some asshole decides to come and make another frigging comment, in response to me asking someone, politely, not to use caps when they post their shit flaming me. [and I'm talking seven or eight solid lines of caps here].

He replies (some random new fucktard, never even spoken to him before) saying that if it annoys me, he sees it as a GOOD REASON TO USE ALL CAPS.

Fucking hell, I wish some people would either get over themselves and whatever issues they have with people voicing their opinions or standing up for themselves, or if that's not possible, then just shut the fuck up and keep their goddamned bullshit to themselves.

Sorry about the language. People who just JOIN IN arguements ages after they're dead piss me off SO MUCH. I hadn't even said anything to the fucker. Wtf.

I wanted to say:

SHUT THE HELL UP YOU FUCKING RETARD, AND LET IT DIE.

What I did actually say was far more polite and only contained the word "Crap". I don't care if he reads this. Okay. You know what I am sick of? as the title says, people treating this damn place like it's a popularity contest.

More pageviews does not make you a better artist. It might do. In the case of a few of my friends, they DESERVE their pageview totals. They're awesome artists. And then there are the people who just leave comments like:

"OMG I LOVE YOUR ART. Now check out my gallery [link]!!!!!"

If I want to see your gallery, I will click your name or something else that links me to your page. do not try and direct my attention. My page is for comments about ME not YOU. Same goes for other artists' galleries. If you're just going to whore yourself by going OMG LOOK AT MY GALLERY on everyone's page then eventually you're going to make a lot of people very very miffed at you.

Worse still are the people who, after having NO contact with me EVER send me a note or make a comment on my page or on a piece of my art that says:

"Hey I love this pic. I did something like this that I think you might like [link]!!"

Again, no. You do not use someone else's page to whore your work. By all means say you like the style of the picture and you do stuff like it yourself or would like to do stuff like it yourself. But including a link and going "GO AND SEE" just cheapens it all. I don't mind my FRIENDS doing it. I like my good friends to let me know about stuff that I might have missed, or something that I might like, whether it be theirs or someone else's.

If this is you, then please stop it. I don't mind people commenting on my gallery or on specific pics to tell me they like them, or to tell me they DON'T like them (as long as it's a proper critique and not just "OMG u suck").

Also, thanking people for visiting your page? wtf is up with that? you monitor your recent page viewers then go and post on their pages to get more exposure to other people. That's what's up.

And all of this leads to the GOOD artists being ignored and some rather mediocre ones getting above their station and thinking they are God's Gift to DA just because they've whored themselves and have tons of pageviews and asskissing comments.

I don't care how popular i am or how many pageviews I have. I do art because I enjoy doing it. That's the only reason anybody should do it, IMO.

It's not a popularity contest. Get over yourselves and just do your art because you like it, damnit.

Okay. I'm going to be taking on 3 commissions, first come first served basis. I've had some bad experiences doing these in the past, but I will try to be as co-operative as possible, now that I'm OVER my artist's block.

Straight up price of $30 usd (or £15 gbp.)

What you will get:

One character. Inked and then coloured in Photoshop.

Simple background (ie, pattern or colour.)

Rules:

I will draw tasteful nudity only. No porn or yiff.

If you want more than one character, it will take extra time and WILL cost more.

I don't do complicated backgrounds, because I can't.

I will not draw a popular copyrighted character; i.e, Sonic; or someone else's copyrighted character ; i.e, my Violet character, because that's ILLEGAL (not to mention bad ettiquette)

Payment is to be made via Paypal, Cheque or Cash (UK cheques and cash only please) BEFORE the commission is started. (I will ask for the money ONLY when I am about to begin your commission.)

This isn't about stolen work, because apparently the submitter didn't claim it to be their work.

I feel, however, even though I put a COPYRIGHT mark on each of my drawings, that I must make it clear once again

DO NOT SUBMIT, POST, RECIRCULATE, SAVE, COPY, EDIT, DISFIGURE OR OTHERWISE MAINPULATE ANY OF MY WORK UNLESS I GIVE MY EXPRESS PERMISSION FIRST. TO DO SO VIOLATES THE COPYRIGHT ON MY WORK, AND I WILL NOT HESITATE TO DO ALL I CAN AGAINST ANYONE WHO DOES NOT ADHERE TO THIS.

You have been warned.

From now on, I will place a "Do not copy or redistribute" notice on all my pieces of work.

I am sorry for all those to whom this does not apply.
It really makes me angry and sad that I put my work up here for others to enjoy and it gets misused like this.

If I hear of this happening again I will have no choice but to remove all of my work from the internet.

This really is not acceptable, and the explanation of " I didn't know" IS NOT AN EXCUSE.

COPYRIGHT LAW IS WELL KNOWN ACROSS THE INTERNET, IF YOU DO NOT OWN THE WORK, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO REDISTRIBUTE OR COPY IT IN ANY WAY.
