It's really been two years since my last journal entry. I have to confress, I use DA more often to look at wonderful examples of art from both those people I know and others who I simply notice while browsing. It's not that I don't enjoy my own art (such as it is), it's just that my life often isn't very conducive to me writing down much beyond a few scattered LJ entries. Anyway, to the matter at hand.
I've finally finished the Bittersweet story I began more than two years ago as the result of a promise I made to ~Caycay. It's been a long, long time, but when I finally sat down to finish the story, it came easier than I thought it might. It had been brewing for a while, and a bout of nostalgia made it all the easier to call up memories of all those wonderful RPs.
So yeah, this is just to let you all know I'm not dead. And with any luck, there'll be more entries in the future.

It's been so long since I've posted a single journal entry on this place, I can't even really remember the last time I did. Well, on to the news of the past few days. I've been sick as a dog, missing more classes than I like because I just can't seem to get out of bed. At first, I thought it was the flu because of some symptoms, but even though they went away, I'm still tired and headachey half the time. It's no fun.
Pending projects:

BITTERSWEET!
I have to write more, or my dear friend ~caycay will probably have good reason to tear my head from my neck. Sorry you have to wait so long for a simple story, Dee-chan
Durham at Night
A story that came to mind a couple of weeks ago when walking home late one night from Englehardt. I refine the story a little more each time I happen to walk the nighttime streets of this quiet little college town. I don't know when I'm going to start, but I'm hopeful about this one.

I miss talking to people I used to spend every afternoon with. I need to get my rear in gear, as it were. Wish me luck, one and all.

It may seem like it, but I'm not down for the count. I've just taken a long leave from any sort of creativity. Most of it can be blamed on school projects which would rightly belong in a class titled 'Anality 101'. But it seems to be tapering down, in time for vacation. I'll try to have a new story up within a day or so. This one will introduce a favorite character of mine, Dirge. If any of you look at ~Caycay's DA account (And for shame if you do not!), you will know more about Dirge than I could explain if I had hours and pages.

Well, since several of my friends have joined DeviantArt, I figured I might as well try it out. While they'll be uploading art, I figured I'd take the road less traveled. Most or all of what I upload will be stories or poetry. Not promising it will be good, but I'll do my best. Anyhow, it's time to start feeding the zoo that is my house. Later!"Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." - L.K Hamilton
