All the work you see here was entirely done by me, from start to finish, just personal Projects. haven't done any commercial motion graphics projects yet. ( to this day all my work was for stills)

anyone have any suggestions how to add stills i have done for commercial work? should i make small animations with em? Or should i not put em in at all?

Yes it is. If you don't have mozilla go get it, and then install this. IT is awesome. And kinda works with DA. For some reason only show like 100 deviations per user, and doesn't work too well in browse mode, but still really cool.

olympics is on. I really think it's loosing it's point. All the runners are Black ( sorry don't know the correct term, as many of them are not america, hence using african american would be stupid, and at the same time i'm sure most of them have never been to africa. so no offence intended i guess). All the gymnasts are russia, and all the australian soccer players are from eastern europe. I mean it just isn't a representation of a country anymore. They should really come up with a new differential. Like height or something. Or maybe they should take DNA tests and determine genetic make up and then assign a country to em.

No Seriously there are actual protests on this matter. You can't be against high petrol prices it's like being against gravity! I mean you may not like high petrol prices, just like you may not like gravity ( eg. if there where no gravity i wouldn't be heavy set, ... but you'd still be FAT!) I mean it's pretty simple the reason prices are high is because there is a lot of demand ( ie lots of people want to buy it) and low supply (ie not as much of it is being sold) Like an ebay Auction.

And what pisses me off even further is that the people that are complaining and protesting (yes PROTESTING! with picket signs and such, it's like petrol prices are gona fold and go "fine we give up here we are cheap again") are the same people who are bitching about obesity and global warming (climate change,... whateva). If petrol prices go up, there will be less people driving, hence less greenhouse gases. And there will be more walking, hence fitter people. and furthermore the price of food will go up as the price of transportation goes up (transportation requires fuel), which in turn will result in people being able to afford less food, and as a result be less fat.

And what's with world youth day?!?! It's like armadas of passive football fanatics. Flags, jerseys and all, but completely peaceful and jolly. It's like being in some weird ass children's program.

Haven't submitted anything in a while, combination of laziness and boring work.

So i decided to vent a little bit:

I recently woke up with a wierd urge to have some yogurt with berries. So i get up, take a shower throw on my adidas tracksuit and hike up the hill to bondi road, into a grocery store. So i think, hey how hard could it be to get some yogurt with berries? THEY ARE ALL LOW FAT?!?!?! what the hell don't people eat yogurt because it tastes good anymore? So after going through the 50 or so variations of yogurt i found one that says d'luxe which was right next to one that says d'lite, so i missed it on my first search, but motivated by the desire for yogurt found it on the second sweep. So i buy some tubs, come home, get a spoon out, open the lid and see it's all liquidy, look at the lid and it's expired. What a F*#@.

Talking about dreams i recently have been having this girl interupt my dreams. I mean she walks through them at random then i follow her coz she stuffs something up, like a demolition site, or crosses the path of my car and i crash. So i try to follow here and she dissapears around the corner.

Half indian, half white girl. I think it's indian. pretty too, if anyone knows anything about this give me a shout

I come up the front desk, and wait in line. Kinda like having a dial up connection and trying to open yahoo. so i get to the front desk and explain what i need. The guy stands there for a while, thinks a bit, and then says "yea i know what would help you." thoughts through my head will be encapsulated like this [thought]. [really?] So he sits down at the computer and starts typing stuff, and clicking stuff, and typing stuff, and so on. Then i ask if he has found it, he says, i remember what the book looks like, just don't remember the title, or the author [ i miss google... ] and then he starts walking around the library through various sports sections flipping through the books.

Now don't get me wrong i am very greatful to him for looking, but the whole system is so ridiculously inneficient! I mean it takes up so much room, and to find something you have to physically search, and then once you find something you have to go through all the pages. And following him around was very boring. I just imagined going to google, and typing something and then getting a response like " um... i think we might have that, let me have a look, nup, nup, nup, um how about this? no, hm... well hold on i'll go check out back"

I mean just think how slow information was before the internet and search engines. just mind blowing!

hm... random rant.

Oh yeah that weekly thing didnt quite work out did it now?

i'll tyr pick it up as soon as i can, jsut loaded with work, which is a good thing.

I can do a lot of high quality work, in very little time, but i generally can\'t be bothered looking for work. So if you want to make some money and have some free time, find me some work.

Basically you find someone who would use my services, i discuss the project with him, or hell you can discuss the project with him, find out what he needs, tell me what he needs, i\'ll tell you how much i\'ll charge for that, and then you can charge whatever you want on top of that and that is your cut. I need 50% upfront, so get that out of them, transfer it to me, and we are good to go.

Or you can trust me and give me the lead, i\'ll do all the negotiation and you\'ll get 30% of whatever i make off them.

Seems fair? Go for it.

Now for the more fun stuff. I got a new pc, and it is really really fast. I mean it renders stuff that used to take 4 or 6 mins in less than a minute

Only prob is my beloved 15year old keyboard does not work with it

I really liked it. I'm using this other one right now, but it just doesn't feel right. Anywho, very fast render times. And once i get paid (again) i'm buying another video card so i can plug in 3 monitors into one pc

why i do not know, but it will def look cool.

I'll try to get up some more stuff from my sol beer project, but i need to re-render them, which should be pretty painless now, that i have this wonderful new pc.

Oh yeah, i think i got a new job, where i design those signs that go on top of rows of slot machines. Which is really cool, coz then i will be making art and promoting gambling at the same time. Maybe if i manage to make something that promotes alcohol and gambling simultaneously, that would be super awesome.

Anyone know any effective ways of filtering spam while using outlook and microsoft exchange server 2003? (don't suggest gmail).

Well i finished on the project with seagull and speakers. What was it? Well here is the drumroll and Tadda...

.. It was illustrations for a flash game, and wait for it... It was for Sol Beer I mean how cool is that, I'm creating art and encouraging consumption of alcohol at the same time?

Anyway the game should be finished by the end of next week (they still got the coding to do). So far it is looking very very cool.

I'll upload heaps of the stuff for it once they finish, as they asked me not to post it on the net, until they are done.

As you might know i also finished school, about a month ago now, i should get the results for the finals in a week, don't really care about them too much, but am kinda curious.

I was working as a salesperson for american express for the last week as well, but that is very time consuming and pays very little (atleast initially) so i dropped it for now, and tmrw i'm going for a 2nd round interview to work at a vodafone store, but they work mainly with corporate clients which is pretty cool, i'll see how that goes.

I am really hoping by the end of december i'll be will set to move out. So far it's looking that way. I mean i'll be more confident in having a stable income.

Oh yeah I'm also buying a camera, maybe i'll start expanding into photography, seems like fun. I actually already have an account on DA with photos of stuff i did with my friends camera, (photos of me, her and some city shots). Nto gona tell you what it is though

I got another daily dev YAY. Too bad my last one lost all its favs.

It seems people now comment a lot less. Just fav. And also i noticed that DailyDevs don't seem to get as much exposure as they did before. Remember they used apear to the right when browsing general categories? I reckon that was better. Because i recently noticed that i haven't actually seen any of the daily devs.

The rest was boring, i was surprised that i could continuously write on topic though for a whole 2 hours.

Oh yeah there was a fire drill, and well it was during the exam, but the kicker was as follows: I was sitting there and glimpsed out the window, and saw that the sun was shining and it seemed warm and stuff, so i went to myself "I wish i was outside" and the alarm went off!!! How cool is that. Then i wished for a suitcase of cash to be thrown at me from a passing car, but that didn't happen. Oh well.

Well I made a zebra, that's gota be a good thing. I was tryin to make it more cheery, but recently havn't been in that mood, so kinda difficult.

Made that mp3 player, nothing interesting, just keeping in shape so to say. Talking about keeping in shape, does anyone else notice how much more food you consume when you regularily work out? Like my budget doubles if not triples every time i start to work out regularily. I eat like 6 meals a day opposed to 3 and then i got to pay for most of em, as i'm not at home. Feel like an American ordering two large meals for myself

School nearly completely over in a few months, so that should make me happy.

Well i watched MI:III. yeah tom Cruise is old. They should get someone new, but all in all it was exactly what i wanted. No stupid plot. Just a basic dumb one. Big explosions, massive Jumps, and a bunch of high tech explosives

No seriously i havn't seen any good movies in ages. like they all try to make something new, and they all fail. This one just took something old, and made it better, a bit, in some ways. Most importantly didn't ruin it.

Haha well i think i'll jsut tell you about all the movies i watch. When im bothered anyway. Ok Aeon Flux. um... Well It was pretty. Like Compared to Syriana it was magnificent

Nice movie to watch. Does not disgust, and some times even makes you laugh. If you have a choice between Aeon and Syriana Watch Aeon. I think that's how you spell it.

I hate people who declare that a tap running for a year straight is art. They deserve to get punched in the face and have their ass kicked by a tribe of Siberian nutmegs. yeah. no seriously This in the paper said he "wasn't wasting water as it was art". Like they were in a drought (sp?). Don't get me wrong i don't care how much water you use it's your water you pay for it. I'm not an environmentalist or anything, i don't recylce, but I just hate stupid people. Especially those who claim to be artists.

SYRIANA - SUCKS!

Like seriously, it's like all the negative apects of a documentary and all the negative aspects of well a movie about nothing.

it's like watching a documentary about nothing. It's been a long time since i walked out on a movie, I generally don't as i can watch pretty much anything, but this was just pure shit! The thing i don't get is what is clooney doing in it.

It's like that Futurama episode. You know where fry goes to watch a movie and it asks him what he wants to happen next.

-press "A" if you want calculon to go participate ina car crash and kick some seriouse ASS. Press "B" if you want to watch him do boring paper work for the next 2 hours.

Hm... Anyway it's all cool, I'm back at school, which isn't as bad, well it actually is, but i guess i just got used to it. Bah 4 years at the same school. with the same people, catching the same bus, the same train is really getting on my nerves though.

Conceptual ARt - Mini Contest

Ok, I'm doing art at school, and i actually want to do well in it. There is a slight problem though. It has to be based on a concept. and get this the concept is a Circle.

Well ok that's not a problem, i can just go and make something involving circles, and it will probably have some kind of conceptual meaning to it too. Only problem is i don't actually know what it is. Like It's hard to explain.

Anyway This is not so much of a contest as a whole hearted request. Does anyone have any idea's? Like it can include cycles of stuff... and so on.

The second request Is that in the near future I will make some stuff somehow based on circles or involving them. What i am asking you to do is give me you're opinion on what they mean. Like their so to say coneptual value. And remember there is no wrong answer, just the ones that i like and don't like.

Ok well we got some news. Firstly I watched King Kong. I dunno I think it was great, but WAY toooo much CG. Like I don't know if it's just me but i felt the cg in every scene. Like even when they are ina scene which theoretically could be done without it, they still use it. Anyway great movie anyway, but i guess it was hard to stuff it up since it was lready proven to be a great movie

Love it when they re-make old movies! Like I actually do, they most of the time turn out alot better than the new ones. Don't like sequels that much though.

Oh yeah watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang as well a while back, but still ahve, great movie too. The only thing i can complain about is the title. It just doesn't do it justice. But still if you havn't watched it watch it. It's kind of a more humerous, less gory version of Sin City. Really cool.

Ok also saw this in the paper yester day. I was like

As i always wondered why there arn't any crashes with buses here.

But because Australia is such a peacfull and empty place it all went well. Even though the bus colided with a car and then plaughed through a Bus shelter (stop). There was no one on the bus, there was no one at the bus stop, and the bus driver escaped with minor injuries. Unfortunately the woman in the car died. The police said the crash could've been caused by the un-restrained dog, which survived too. Considering what could've happened, I think evyone was lucky. Well accept the lady who should've restrained her dog.

ok this is retarded.

I've been noticing this for a while now, but today was the most out of proportion day. Today in the morning i had 6,699 pageviews, and it said i had 0 pageviews today, if i clicked on it. Now i have 6,713 and it says i got 45 today if i click on it. how does 45=14?

So i went through the numbers and added them all together, and guess what, according to that thing i got 7,015 pageviews. I dont know what's goign on, but how would i go about notifying deviant art about this? And does anyone else have that problem?
