While RL is busy whooping my ass I'd thought I'd go out and learn how to draw-really draw. Take lessons and the like. I'd like to work towards this, so... I guess I'm taking advantage of the situation.

The only pieces I've left are requests or Art Trades, since they belong to the people they were for. The rest are a-coming with me, since I'm silly and sentimental and love my scribbles and colours.

PERSONAL CRAP

Since this is an Art Community, I figured people here could relate...

I just had the hugest, temper-tantrum fight with my boyfriend 'cos all he would say about my stuff was, "I like it!"

What I said was, "I don't care if you LIKE it, tell me what the best parts of it are, and why they're good!"

Now, as I've said in "WANTED", I am not a demanding friend. F-R-I-E-N-D. I happen to be a completely crazy, attention-whoring girlfriend! I just wanted some (verbal!) pride... and I didn't gets it. What's the point in drawing if the one person who want to share it with doesn't really SAY anything?

(NOTE: I need verbal reassurence, or however you spell it. I really do. This is a fact that my "sweetheart" has either seemed to have forgotten, or didn't pick up on it at ALL! )

First off, I have no idea about how many drawings are needed, it just says (and I QUOTE):

"Copies (A4) of original work showing the applicant’s artwork, drawings (i.e. characters in different poses, composition, design), sketchbook pages, animation, computer graphics suggesting animation, and/or any other samples that represent the applicant’s aesthetic sense and capabilities."

Clearly I understand they want different poses like action shots and whatever. BUT HOW MANY? HOW MANY QCA? HOW MANY???

And, since I don't do anything reguarding working with computers, is that going to be a hassel? Will the fact that I work with (Hell, that I'm barely learning to USE) traditional media equal minus points or what?

God, sometimes I hate how far our society's come. What ever happened to the good 'ole days were all I had to do was sit there and look pretty until some nice man came and married me? Nowdays I have to worry about getting a career, looking after myself, actually having ambition...
