On a side note, tomorrow I'll have my driving test
I'm quite terrible at it and even though I'm almost sure I will fail --><-- I really really hope I'll pass, just because I SPENT ALL MY MONEY on those f***ing driving lessons .

I think I might publish a few deviations in the near future, I just have to find the time between network exams and driving lessons (yeah STILL, and the worst part is, I'm not very good- no skip that, I'm TERRIBLE at it ).
Lots of changes going on in my life as well as my family's, that's the main reason I didn't draw for a long time. I've also been on a veeery looong holiday, first in Dublin (where I got to see Muse again in Marlay Park, and I loved it), then roaming Tuscany - Pisa, Arezzo, Siena, Firenze, San Gimignano, Montepulciano - and even a bit of Umbria - namely Assisi. I needed to get away from home for a while, and so I did.

Last but not least, I'd like to address my grandma who's undergoing quite a serious surgery tomorrow morning: I know she's a very strong woman and doesn't want any encouragement, but I also know she's the exact copy of meself (what a shame uh ) and she'd rather eat worms than ask for help and so I tell her anyway: "may the force be with you" "USE THE FORCE, LUKE!".

Uhm.. I'm afraid I won't be able to post anything new for a few weeks damn exams, I've got two in a row, and on top of that I'm feeling incredibly lazy, ahah. I've been having lots of good ideas for new drawings, but I KNOW I can't just sit down and spend the whole day fooling around with PS, or my conscience will kill me later. That sucks.

I also will turn 23 in two weeks, 2 days after my Internetworking exam. I'm getting old, LOL. Oh well! As long as I can stand at a Muse concert, I'll be happy.

I'll get back to my book now, just remember:
1--- Egyptian Contest ends in two days! I won't ask you to vote for me, but I'll sure be glad if you do

I'm terribly sad.
I'm still mourning and will be doing so for a long time.

Yeah, that's holiday season for you.. te-hee.

I believe in karma more and more each passing day. Not only my laptop broke down, but my mp3 player too; the train I took yesterday also broke down, as it did two weeks ago. I mean , I know it's not unusual for Italian trains to break down (or be late and dirty and whatever) but. 2 in a row?? wWhat the hell...

I don't believe in a God, but if I did I would label him as a sick, sick bastard.

You won't be seeing me around for a while.
I'll have to figure out a {cheap} way to get a new laptop, and fast; I still have an exam coming up on the 8th of January; I still have to buy a few gifts, and I wonder how I will achieve that since I'm as poor as Kenny; I have to reassure my family and friends that doing nothing on New Year's Eve does not equal being sociopatic; I'm sure there's more but I'll let it go for now.

edit: Ok, so I took my notebook apart piece by piece, brushed away tons of dust from every single part, I even found a few loose screws hanging around just between the motherboard and the graphic card (which, by the way, was the real problem in the first place), then I just put everything back into place: now it works.
Dunno if it's going to last, but it does for now so I'm not going to complain. I even got my cpu and fan working a lot better, the temperature is incredibly low (24°C at most, it was almost twice before), and generally everything's probably a hella lot cleaner than it was for the past 3 years.
There are 2 things we all should learn from this experience:
1) sometimes your notebook just needs to be cleaned to work;
2) if you're the proud owner of an Acer notebook, just know that somewhere inside your laptop there are 3 or 4 screws rolling around with no specifical reason;
and 2)* you might want to remove them, but keep in mind that your warrantee will die right then, tee-hee!

I'm not sure I'll be able to revive my mp3 player, but I don't really mind; I was thinking of changing it anyway, and a new player is a lot more affordable than a new laptop.

Now that I have my notebook back , I might do a little Christmas doodle, just because.

On a side note, I can't get myself to learn Gimp. I just upgraded from PS CS to CS3 and I'm in love. Plus, I really tried using Gimp but my Wacom tablet doesn't work properly there, I wonder why. I did some research (god bless google) but came up with nothing useful... my touch pad also behaves funny on my Linux SO, it works smoothly most of the time, then suddenly the cursor just freezes and after a few seconds everything goes back to normal. Strangely enough, everything's fine on XP.

Oh well.. going back to Computer Networks.

I love how Swedish people are so calm and collected, they never seem to be in a hurry like people here in Milan or Turin do.. definitely a must-visit-again kind of place.
I really really really enjoyed the concert too; strangely enough, I don't feel sad or melanchonic now like I used to after any Muse gig in past, partly because I managed to take lots of great pictures which will make the abstinence easier to stand
Anyway, Matt looked great and in shape, and so did Dominic and Chris. Hope to see'em again anytime soon as I already miss'em.. luckily I now have another great gig to remember.
I think I will post more picture of Stockholm City in the next days, which I hope you'll enjoy.

So uhm, I've been kind of busy as of lately - busy with studying that's it, and other things I really don't want to talk about.. ugh. Physics exam is getting on my nerves. What's the use of this stuff? So now I know what an RC circuit is for - now what? Is this knownledge going to change my whole perception on living? Gah. Whatever... nevermind.
Anyway, just wanted to apologize to all my deviant friends - I'm sorry I couldn't watch nor comment your deviations in these past weeks - I still have 46 messages to answer to, and 56 deviations waiting to be wieved -.- but I will do it in due time, I promise. Scout's word.
Issue #2: I've been staying in Turin for the past 10 days or so, living like some sort of hermit on a mountain. Speaking of which, I'd like to thank my lovely [clueless] neighbour (whoever he/she/it is) for letting me use his wireless connection from time to time: in case you're reading this, hi! I'm the one who steals your bandwidth

Because I want everyone to know just how much Mr.Bellamy has claimed possession of my brain, on the 19th of October I myself is flying off to Stockholm to see MUSE playing at Hovet Arenan. If Showbiz shouldn't make its appearence in the setlist, I will be a very sad panda.
My dear Lumix will tag along with me of course, so be ready to receive a massive amount of pictures when I come back!
Wish me good luck... I hate flying, but I'm kind of getting the hang of it in the end. Damn Muse.
