In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember:
Water = Poop,
Wine = Health.

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit.

So join me in a "walk-about"! Here goes!

First of all, this is the outside of our home..

So let's go to the front door!

When we first enter, you see different levels...let's check out the upstairs first!
And when we look left, our front sunken living area.. , then the dining room.. then the kitchen, to the back sunken living room To the patio doors outside to the Hot Tub! Wish you were here with us And of course part of the backyard (Can't wait until next year to plant some beautiful flowers!!)
Off the kitchen we have 3 bedrooms, bathroom and a beautiful masterbedroom with a three peice private bathroom! Love it! Here's a photo from the masterbedroom to the kitchen
And of course the basement. We have a cold room (to keep food and of course the wine cool! :giggle:) and huge storage room and an extremely large rec room and There's a hall from here to the boy's rooms and the.... Alot has happened in my life these past 2 months!

1. Finally packed and moved my belongings into our new home! :clap:
2. Then the unpacking!
3. Then helping William with his previous home and trying to sell it - Yes, it finally sold!
4. Helping him with the move into our new home.
5. And trying to find places to put both of our belongings; and purging the things we both didn't need anymore.
6. Still have a few things to find homes for...
7. Then on holidays for three weeks - needed it after all that work! :faint:
8. Then getting my internet up and running - finally!!
9. Then getting my computer fixed - the moving guys accidently dropped my tower and rattled a few things inside... They DID pay for the repairs.
10. Now I'm at home sick with the "West Nile" virus - darn mosquitoes!! Probably got bit on holidays at the lake... darn!

As you can see - I've been very busy! I almosted :faint: when I was finally able to go on-line and see what's been happening on dA! :omg: I almost have 2,000 deviations to go through (please forgive me if I fave and run! I'll never be able to get caught up otherwise!) And close to 400 messages! Yicks! I will get to them slowly - but please be patient with me - this is sooo overwhelming!

As a note: I would love to thank everyone for their kindness, features and words of concern from the bottom of my heart! :hug: You are all the best friends a girl could ask for! :kiss:

I've been using aluminum foil for more years than I care to remember. Great stuff, but sometimes it can be a pain. You know, like when you are in the middle of doing something and you try to pull some foil out and the roll comes out of the box. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time.


Well, I would like to share this with you. Yesterday I went to throw out an empty Reynolds foil box and for some reason I turned it and looked at the end of the box. And written on the end it said, "Press here to lock end". Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in place. How long has this little locking tab been there? I then looked at a generic brand of aluminum foil and it had one, too. I then looked at a box of Saran wrap and it had one too! I can't count the number of times the Saran warp roll has jumped out when I was trying to cover something up.

I checked the foil boxes in my cupboard and the generic box of foil did have a perforated area to push in, but it did not explain what the perforations were for. One box didn't have any perforations or lock of any sort ( guess I shouldn't have bought the really cheap brand!)


I'm sharing this with my friends that did not know this. If you all ready know this, Please don't comment and and make me feel dumber than I already feel. If you didn't know this, let me know so I won't feel so dumb. I hope I'm not the only person that didn't know about this. =p

Well our "Maintenance Shutdown" at work is finally over! :dance: After working 12 hour night shifts for 52 days straight (with my 4 days off from the flu) - I'm exhausted! :faint: Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with all the new deviations and commenting... I really tried to keep up - but found that I just couldn't! :( When I finally had time today to check out things - I became overwhelmed with over 500+ deviations and over 300 messages! :faint: I'd never be able to catch up! So forgive me, but I did alot of faving and running without commenting and had no choice but to delete a majority of your wonderful work! I commented back on all the messages that I received, but wasn't able to reply to all the journals... sorry again... But now that I'm finally free from working every day, I promise to respond and comment in a more timely manner from now on in.

I hope everyone is enjoying the wonderful spring weather and everyone is in good spirits and health! :heart:

I got this idea from :iconpentacle5:! I thought this was a wonderful way to introduce my watchers to each other by seeing the fantastic art each is capable of!

The first 15 people who reply to this journal with three of their favorite deviations will be featured until the end of my "maintenance shutdown" - give or take 3 to 4 weeks.

Well... I'm suppose to be working tonight, but I've been battling a terrible flu for the last couple of days - what a way to get a day off! Geesh!! I can't even enjoy it - darn!! I'm one of many from work sick with the same thing... I really don't think people who are sick should be going to work and getting everyone else around them sick too! That's how I got sick... I realize that since where I work is in a "Maintenance Shutdown" - that everyone feels they have to be there to get the job done within the 6 to 8 weeks; but, when those who go to work sick and infect a great many others - they are actually causing more harm then good. Now it's me missing out on the overtime and doing my part to get the "job" done! A simple cold is one thing, but a flu that is contageous is another! Some people just don't think about anyone else but themselves I guess... Oh well, as long as when I go back to work (hopefully tomorrow or the next day) I don't end up with the darn thing again! Then I'd really have to loose my temper!! I'm usually a very level headed, understanding person - I don't let things bother me too much.. But watch out if I'm forced into action!! :evillaugh:

Anyway dear friends... Thank you again for all your support and encouragement!! I wish all the Love, Luck and Laughter your way!!!

Hmmm... Where to begin so I don't bore you all :rofl: ... okay...

1. I graduated from Grade 12 when I was 16
2. I played the Clarinet all through school and was able to go to Toronto on a tour with the senior band (that was the first time I actually was able to leave my province of Saskatchewan! Fun, Fun, Fun!)
3. I had my beautiful daughter when I was 21!
4. I graduated with top honours in all my courses from College when I received 3 diplomas (Executive Secretarial, Computers and Accounting, and Economics).
5. When I was 29, I decided to do something totally different and got my Steam Engineering Papers! (I know weird hey?)
6. I grew up on a farm - where I found my love of all types of animals and nature!
7. I helped save a man from a car wreck where he was pinned upside down squished in his seat! (that was very scary!) I called for help and held his hand and head until the parametics arrived - He was scared the vehicle was going to start on fire due to the gas tank getting a puncture in it (you could smell gasoline and we were lying in it). I told him, he was safe and if something happened he wasn't going anywhere alone!
8. Starting this Friday (28th), I will be working 12 hour night shifts for almost two months straight with only a three day repreive at the end of April! We are having our annual "Shutdown" at work (that's when the plant is shut down and all major repairs to equipment, lines, etc. are done). So, I may not be able to comment on all of your wonderful masterpieces during this time :( But I will try my best. I find I go into a work-eat-sleep mode just to get through it. So please don't take offense! And obviously, I will not be able to get to do any of my stress relieving painting either! Darn!

Well that's about it! :) Boring huh? :lol:

Does anyone know why my map doesn't seem to show my visitors? If I click on my map it takes me to the map website and there it shows everyone, but on my journal it doesn't! Do I possibly have to do something special that I don't know to make it show up? Any help would be very much appreciated!! :)

Note: Solved it everyone!! The map only updates once daily so when you hit the "refresh" button on the browser it updated!! Yippy!!! I guess it works afterall!! Mystery solved!! ]]> *wanred
