It's just an archive of everything Project Phear. Currently I've been doing outlines of all the stories, so the actual writing hasn't been done. Once it's written out and I've improved with drawings, I actually may make it into a comic... stay tuned.

P R O B L E M S
Okay, so I've had some problems with Half Life 1. I installed it, went to run the program, and I got a compatibility issue. I ran the Compatibility Wizard on all different possible aspects, but the message still popped up. All in all, I clicked continue.

The opening sequence to the game played, and all was well. I configured movement, etc.

Now, the problem.
I click New Game > Normal

A Menu pops up:
Please Insert the Half-Life CD.
The CD is already in the drive. I took the CD out and reinserted it. Sure enough, the same message appear four different times. Finally it said:
Could not Validate Half-Life.

What the fuck? Pardon my French, but why would it do this?

I have tried using Steam to run the game, but when the game's about to start, there's an error or SOMEthing wrong, because it freezes when it's two bars away from starting the game.

I'm going insane trying to play my favorite game of all time...

Any suggestions?

A challenge was made by GUN. The goal: to create the world's first artificial lifeform. Gerald Robotnik succeeded by a slim margin and at great risk to the world. Project Shadow was released and mass chaos occured, and Space Colony ARK was destroyed. Unknown to GUN and Robotnik, another scientist, Jack S. Phosine, had accepted the challenge and had begun working. Within the five year time-span and with a little bit of help from a demonic angel, 16 different anthropomorphic hedgehogs were born. Each and every one was made through artificial genes. By the same token, each one had their own abilities, whether physical or energical, these abilities seemingly had no limit.

April 3, 1958
One error on Jack's part ruined everything: this demonic angel, "ChaosAngel," helped create some genes, but he corrupted them deliberately. This would not have been so major had these genes not been so vital.

June 7, 1959
The experiments are all fully grown and are learning different languages aboard Space Colony Terres. One, "Ally," she was named, began showing odd symptoms. Her skin complexion became a pale blue. Phosine took notes and cautiously awaited the next morning.

June 8
Fangs have grown in Ally's mouth, as have claws on her hands and feet.

June 28
The first noticeable change in 20 days--Ally has had complete skin deterioration, where there are literally holes in the body. It is possible to stick a finger through some of the larger holes. The eyes on Ally have become odd colored and seemingly possessed. Vision has been reported to have become worse. Also, the height of Ally has been toned down 3 inches and she has developed a liking to walking with a hunched back.

July 1, 1959
Ally is put in a holding tube. There she will be kept in suspended animation for the rest of eternity. The other experiments are put in suspended animation as well, but are timed to be released and raised on Earth at specific times.

Shows how I need to update more, eh?

Last week, I went through the school directory, which contains every student's address and phone number. I found one girl's that I had a crush on since... forever ago, and sent a Secret Admirer note with no return address. Did it send? I'm clueless... The first two said nice things about her, and the third told me a bit about myself. You see, back in the day, we took an art class together, and I remember her mentioning it to me back in October, so I gave her a little "hint" in that third letter. I'm not sure if she knows it's me though, I'm completely in the dark.

This morning, I had to take a test that may give me a scholarship, and the girl mentioned above sat right behind me!

It was kinda weird too, because I did something different with my hair; I gave it a part instead of wearing it flat.... I think it turns out okay once it's dry, but it looks terrible while it's wet D: Anywho, I think I did well on the test, hopefully I'll be one of the ten to get a scholarship. I've been doing better in school as well. My grades have been going up ever since a few weeks ago when I decided to do my homework and take school seriously.

Took me a while, eh?

~birdzgoboom(Rebecca) and I have been talking waaaaay too much on the phone lately and it's been getting goofy... like always, huh? ~nospoon67(Evan) will be visiting tomorrow for a while, hopefully like six hours or so. It's gonna be awesome. STILL, I wish he hadn't sold his DS and all his games T_T that narrows down what we can do.

Guitar Hero III is my new obsession as far as Wii games go. My brother bought it a while back used and without a guitar. It's ... different playing with the Wii Remote because you don't strum and you hit buttons. I've sort of adapted to it, and I can play on Medium.

I'm still working on your avatars, don't worry, but I haven't felt too motivated lately

Something else, too. Is it just me, or do a lot of people treat deviantART like a popularity contest? They're obsessed with how many pageviews, watchers, etc. that they have. That gets on my nerves that they don't care for the support of fellow artists. I, for one, love critiques more than anything. It really gives me a wider view on how my work is perceived to people, how I can improve, etc.

Should I post a photo of myself as a deviantID? Maybe it's just me... my camera makes me look fatter than I already am

Now that I think about it, I am kinda obsessed. I mean, I'm online pretty much all the time, whenever I can, I reply too much, seriously. What do you guys think? Wait. I need to tell you guys some stuff.

Ok, my weekend a few weeks ago wasn't too bad. My older cousin Eric is joining the military; he's like super smart and good with computers... he's taught me a lot in the past. That weekend I didn't really see hide nor hair of him because he was at some movie, I think.

My younger cousin Connor visited us at my grandmother's house for a while, but he was messing with his cell phone too much. I think my family's just in a rough spot right now >.<; ..eh.. my aunt and uncle might be getting a divorce. Dunno yet. I don't even know what happened because my dad won't tell me. That gets annoying. . . . Other than that, school's been going alright, I've finally gotten the hang of getting my homework done (about time, eh?) I'm going to keep taking French, as my school doesn't offer German oO; ... I guess I'll have to learn it on my own :'D

My friend Evan (~nospoon67) came over with his dog, Corby (a Spipperkey) and my dog Lucy (a miniature Schnauzer) and we went on a walk. The place that I live in is very, uh... like your typical Suburbia as far as the neighborhood goes.
Anyway, we went left of my house and followed the street on the left called "Greyhawk Drive." We followed it until we found a sidewalk on the right and entered an area with two *coughmanmadecough* ponds next to each other. There were woods on the edge of the area. Evan and I saw something weird moving in the other side of the pond, and we went over to see if we could find it. We didn't. ... then we saw a clearing in the woods with a makeshift bridge and an old deer post with rusty nails.
What's weird is that the area that I live in was nothing but forest 10 years ago. O_O kinda strange, but... who knows. Maybe it wasn't that old.
We also saw a big clearing right past the small bridge.
Anyway, today, when Evan brought his dog over, we walked out to the clearing area. We were showing my little brother and my neighbor what we found... it was goofy.

In the forested area, you can go three different ways:

Straight, and that takes you to the open field

Left, which takes you to a muddy trail with spiky trees and eventually winds up as a creek (which may have sewage

)

Right, where the deer post is.

We went a little bit left through the muddy trail, but not in the mud; we walked on the sides.

Actually, that was just me.

I kept going for a while along the messes of vines and spiky trees and ... spiderwebs

(which may be one of the top 5 annoyances of the woods >.>; ) All in all, it eventually came to a dead end. We turned around and then went through the straight path.
In the field, if you kept going straight, you could see a house and far off trails.
Meh, we went left, through a skinny path in a ... cotton field.

(It COULD have been corn

) At the end of the grassy path, there was a clearing with a ton of trails leading off of it. Of all the paths, we went left and stayed on the nearly perfectly straight path for a while. Not long after that, Will (my little bro) and my neighbor went home. *coughcoughwimpscoughcough*
After heading left for a while, there was a cornfield where we could either go right of continue straight. We wanted to remember where we went, so we went straight. That path continued on for a while, out in the open and then into deep woods. There were tons of spiderwebs D: ... not too fun. We kept going on the straight path until almost the end--then we found a house, so we decided to turn back

On our way back, we heard voices occasionally. It was kinda strange; I thought I heard a woman and an elderly man talking. It creeped me out a little

Eventually, we made it back to the ponds, but there we saw 2 bikes. We thought

but then we saw a dude from my school there. It was kinda

, but... o.O ... then we went home and chilled with our dogs.
