Just wanted to brief all who care.

Been doing a lot of simple stuff (ie: invitations, newspaper ads, etc.), but hey, it helps pay the bills.

I've felt weird lately. A feeling of uneasiness regarding my life. I cant' put my finger on it, but hopefully it will pass.

Hope all is well with you guys. Take care and until next time.

Warren

Also, I put up a new wallpaper at ~blotter-studios

I apologize to all for my extended absence. I've had many irons in the fire, and minimal free time.

I really just wanted to update all who care about my happenings. I uploaded a new photo, and I'm constantly working and thinking of new things to do. Recently, I've been putting more focus on my music and getting back into school. I begin my Masters in Teaching in August, and I'm excited about that. And, I'm also moving at the end of June.

I hope all is well with all of you, and I look forward to sharing more with you all very soon.

Warren

Hello all,

I had a freakin' blast this weekend. My girlfriend and I went to Gonzofest, a beer festival held by Flying Dog Brewery in honor of Dr. Gonzo himself, Hunter S. Thompson. It was held in Frederick, Maryland. I met some cool folks, saw some great bands and consumed my weight in tasty brews.

However, the 6.5 hour drive home the next day was trying, but well worth the great time. I recommend to anyone to try some Flying Dog if you've never had it, and come out next year. I'll be there fo' sho'.

pics from the madness

Well, I've hit a small milestone in the deviant art world. It would be hard to explain, but this started as a secondary hobby for me. I say hobby, but I've been working in graphics for about 2.5 years now. However, I prefer the hobby side much more. It seems that sometimes creativity can get lost when you do monotonous and mundane things daily. I feel I've gotten a bit better at integrating art and practicality, but often times newspapers and other print media will sacrifice creativity for information.

Oh well, it sure beats breaking my back doing manual labor.

I'm hoping that with my new machine and the soon coming internet in my living quarters will bring exciting changes for this page and BLOTTER STUDIOS [link]
Thanks for checking my page out and keep an eye out for some crazy mess coming down the pipe.

Later.

Finally, my machine is en route.

Most of you don't know, but ironically, I started this account at work, and most of the stuff that's up so far was done or processed at work. Except for this piece. [link]
This is my first piece completed at home in over a year.

If my computer is en route, how was this completed at home you may ask. Well, I borrowed this one from work until my new one arrives.
Anyway, I'm hoping that this will positively impact the amount of things I'll accomplish, also I'm hoping it will help the studio

So, there you have it.
I submitted my first photo. However, as I'm sure you can guess, it's not really my first photo. I have never really considered my artistic ability to include photography (many of you may still not consider it artistic), and I've taken hundreds, possibly thousands of snapshots, but I've not really ever taken the time to compose a picture in my head and try to capture it on film or in the camera.

Being that I'm extremely new to this, I'm open for criticism. I'll try to keep improving on my photographs. And if anyone has anything constructive to say, please leave a comment or drop me a note. Anything I can learn from more experienced artists and photographers would be very appreciated.

Keep doing what you do.

Warren
