But i held on hoping that someone would be added and AFI would mysteriously disapear. AND BOTH HAPPENED!

so some of my much liked bands are going, Cut Copy/ Sleater-Kinney/ Youth Group. oh yes we cant forget mister Iggy Pop. and i shall be avoiding the white stripes by seeing Mars Volta at the other stage! its all set up for me! ^_^ except i kind of wish that Cut Copy were playing in the bolier room, but hey i dont really care as long as im in the crowd.

I've got my timetable blu-tacked to my wall.

in other festival news Sigur Ros got added to the Great Escape line up so ill be seeing them twice in three days because im going to their Enmore show as well. i neglect them and then im forever stuck three months back in time when i had useless things to mention. so some new mentionables would be... i saw Thumbsucker the other night and it was amazing. wonderful sountrack of elliot smith and polyphonic spree. so ill be buying that. there is a great exhibition on at the moment at the contempory art gallery, MCA. its the artist Erwin Wurm, whom i love and its called 'Glue your Brain' i recommend everyone to see it, i enjoyed it thoroughly and im going again on monday. yes twice to see a contempory exhibition, its a moment in my life not to be forgotten.

they played my favourites 'something i can never have' and 'reptile' it was beautiful.
what a mind blowing evening spent listening to songs that i thought id never see live. what a musical genius.
i caught my favourite bassist's pick (excluding mr mccartney) jeordie's. its got nin on it, i will play my new fender p bass (when i get it!) with it!!
i was scalped by a crowd surfers boot, my hair got stuck in the buckle and i have a bald spot. thankfully its not that visible. i was right on the barrier in front of trent, he threw his water bottle at me to catch it. all in all it was the most amazing night.
