I have a set of 3 photos taken of an empty Bastion Square in Victoria, BC during the start of a small blizzard back in Dec 2008. I want to make panorama of them to show the whole scene, but I've been unable to match up more than 2 of the images because one of them has to be resized and adjusted and stuff... can anyone help me with that? I'd really like to post the scene, its kinda haunting.

I've actually been on DA for 6 and a half years now, so this is my 7th Christmas season on DA.

But lately I've been lacking in things to actually photograph --- or at least things that don't come across as "snapshots".

I went to LA and San Diego last month and took photos along the way. Mostly I did what challenged me to I photographed my entire journey WITH my Fella plushie as if he were an actual person taking the trip (kind of like how all my convention trips have photos with me in them lol).

I just haven't had time to put that together lol. All the pics are sitting here on my PC but I want to make a sort of corkboard display kind of like how people have one on the wall in their bedroom where they stick their fave photos of people or from trips, etc.

And I'm also starting to feel like my camera is inferior. I bought it in September 2003.... it was a newer model than my parents' camera back then, but now they've upgraded theirs to one newer and better than mine and I just want to use theirs I won't be able to get myself a new one for at least a couple more years though.

Thanks to everyone from my friends to the random visitors (and future friends) for checking out my photography.

It doesn't seem to be quite as popular as my comic book art but I'll continue to post new pieces here whenever I can. Right now I'm working on a whole book on my own so I haven't really left the house. But there will definitely be more over the summer

I finally made good on my promise and updated... sort of. My gallery now contains all of the photos that I've been meaning to post from my return from Mexico, to the end of 2006. A little bit out of order, but they're there!

I hope you guys enjoy them. I have a few photos to post from this year so far, but not as many as usual. That's due mostly in part to the fact that I had my correctional surgery on my face, so I haven't been doing much so far this year. The few places I have gone since, I haven't taken many photos... I was just tired because I was getting used to moving around again and at times my face bothered me a lot so I wouldn't even pull out my camera.

I'm also currently out of a job.... check out my journal over at my main DA page for details on what happened:

One major thing that's really getting to me is the fact that I've been told not to carry my camera with me. Which sucks becaue I've missed soooo many photographic opportunities, but makes sense since I don't want anyone to knock me over for the camera or something. Being mugged in Mexico would not be fun at all.

So instead as we ride buses and taxis to get around.... I look out the windows and think about how great this scene or that building or those people would be in a photograph.

Mar. 29/05: Just a few cute photos I took a couple weeks ago. With school going on, I haven't had much time for taking proper photos, but I liked how these few new ones turned out (out of about 50 photos lol).


Feb. 4/05: Submitted photos from Last Band Standing, taken on January 15th, 2005. Photos of the band posted in Scraps as well. I need a proper lense so badly..... I myself believe the quality of the images to be very low.... I don't understand why though because I use a 5.1 megapixel camera.

Jan. 1/05: Finally got around to submitting new photos. I actually picked through all of them and chose very little out of the ones I've taken. Just not happy with a lot of them. Oh yeah, school starts on January 3rd for me so I will be around even less most likely. But I plan on having more photos later on from being out and about during the school year.

Dec. 15/04: Two photos relegated to Scraps. Editing and sorting through batches of photos from an Edmonton trip in November for posting. Holidays are getting hectic. May take a while.

Oct. 12/04: Some older photos have been found and sized for posting, as well as new photos taken during my absence. To be posted over the next couple of days.

Sept. 16/04: Taking a leave for two weeks. *New camera*. I've bought a Sony DSC-W1. Photography to be taken during, and posted after my return in early October.

Aug. 15/04: New photos have been posted, old ones edited. Locations: False Creek (Vancouver, B.C.), Greyhound bus station (Chilliwack, B.C.) and Princeton, B.C.

I originally signed up for this DevID for use for punk/dark comic book style art, but then I changed my mind and left it for a while. I decided a short bit ago that I would like to post some of my photography, but I also didn't want to take away from my real focus in art by mixing them in my fulltime DeviantArt page amongst my comic book art.

Yes, this is not my main page. But it will be, for my photography. On Deviant Art, I am known as =mechangel2002, or Mecha. But please, visit my pages if you like what's on them, not just because its another page done by me. My comic book art has nothing to do with my photography

I will be uploading more and more of my photography onto this page when I can. This means I might go a few intervals between submissions and then have a whole bunch to post

EDIT: I started out using the Sony Cyber-shot® DSC-P72. I am yearning for a Sony DSCF717, but am taking suggestions for a better camera that won't kill my bank account. I now have a Cyber-shot® Pro DSC-W1 of my own, which I will later be purchasing lenses for and outfitting to my liking So far I'm really happy with it.

NEW EDIT: I ended up going back to school... lost my job... etc etc so the camera is the only thing I have for photography. No lenses... no tripod.... nada. *sigh*

So.....
