Are you a fan of sketchbooks?  If so, spiral or square bound?  If not, are you sketching on loose-leaf paper, post-it notes, or digitally?

If you're drawing traditionally, what kind of drawing utensil do you use?  Pencil?  Pen?  Lead type?  Mechanical?  Wood?  HB, color?

If you're drawing digitally, what kind of input device do you have and what program do you use?  PC or Mac?

I always thought I admired the likes of Jim Lee and Marc Silvestri.  I realized recently, though, that my true inspiration growing up was actually afternoon and Saturday morning cartoons.  He-Man, Transformers, GI Joe, Voltron, Tranzor Z, Thundercats, Silverhawks, and even Robotech.  I always drew as a child, but those shows really hooked me in to the "art" of it.

What are your tips and tricks for constantly moving forward in your art?  When you're just sketching, how do you determine what you're going to draw?

I'm going to try to do establish a more regimented drawing schedule. However, when I've tried that before, a lot of times I stare blankly at the page for a while, before getting disgusted and moving on to something else.  I'm sure you guys have some great ideas, so please feel free to comment!
