Still working on the books and books project
Working on hats has been slow...

New things going on...

I've been looking for a part time job!
In the mean time I've been putting together some of my silly stop motions and started making tutorials.

I've always been an active person... but I have recently stepped it back up. (in college i only did walking) I walk every where, but now I also have been biking and some jogging (I keep that to a minimum because of my asthma) Growing up my activities included Foot Ball(Soccer), Swimming, Ballet, Gymnastics, Biking, Roller blading, Hiking, and Karate. (I still practice karate) I have recently discovered that I enjoy parkour. I haven't done anything too dangerous and still need to be careful because of a previous injury.

I am working on a new Guitar... it is black silver. I am really excited about it! the themes are Latin, Night things, and thing things lol

I am working on a big project for a book store in Miami... hitting a lot of bumps along the way and it is becoming a bit frustrating :frown:

the ninja hat was well liked... I'll be adding "tails" to the back... so far I have and order of 20...hopefully for Hero's con... witch I won't be attending >.<


I am also working on a supprize scarf commission for :grin:

Thursday was spent in Central Park! We walked in an S pattern from our hotel in Chelsea to the reservoir. (well over 50 blocks) Got some great pics... and will be sharing some soon!


I had and awesome time at the NYCC! Here are some of the highlights of the show for me:

Friday: Went to several Portfolio reviews (including one with Wizards of the Coast ) got a lot of good feedback, and learned so much! Went to a panel about building a good portfolio, witch was very informative!

Saturday: Bought some comic books and a print of the Original Ninja Turtles... (got everything signed) I bought comics form Jim Su, Andre Szymanowicz and they guys of VLE I've got a lot of reading to do now! (be sure to check out their pages at the bottom of my journal!)
I was interviewed by a lady from Newsweek about females in nerd culture. (yes I openly admitted to her that I was indeed a nerd! Helped out over at the kids love comics booth untill 5ish.

Saturday night! - My Uncle picked us up at the Javits and we went to a fancy restaurant ... with all you can eat pastas! After that we walked around until it was time for our show. (it was my first Broadway show! ) [link]

Sunday: helped out all day at the Kids love comics booth... and even got them to put on some of my cute animal hats! I only brought 5 hat with me as samples... sold them all

Past!

The winter fest went very well <3 i made about 200! wooty!

while I was there I met a guy named john~ (check out his blog) [link]

Friday the 7th is once again first Friday... I was invited to set up at a local hotel where they are holding the first annual winter market.

I was also invited to participate int he winter window painting contest downtown.

In old news-

Halloween was fun, I went as [link] <3 I got martin's costume done enough to go out in it... lol once it is totally finished I will post it. We went over to our friend Ben's and watched South Park then American Psycho. After that I kidnapped Ben's Guitar so that I could finally get pics of it to post here! (they will be up by the end of the day)

Jadzu was kind enough to buy a set of prints as well as commission me for work, so I have decided That I will use some of the money for a premium print account. <3 thanks Jadzu!

The plans are set, I have a weekend job now for a while painting and designing at a small hotell my uncle is purchasing. I start this weekend.

pricing and rules for portraits:

1. I will do single or couple, any more than that will be upon special request!

2. pricing will depend on what type of portrait you would like.

examples in my gallery:realistic ink - "Austin in ink", characters - "Wolfy and I", "Wolfie and Monnie", realistic in ink with psychedelic designs - "Beth"

3. I will add up two 2 digital colors for ink prints. (example "Austin in ink with color")

4. if requesting a character I will add comic words if asked.

5. shipping rules remain the same (see prints)

6. I will add almost anything to your picture upon request.

example: "hey could you ink this person realistically, with psychedelic designs and add them wearing:" ie a spike necklace, wings or a hat.?

7. I will require several photos of the person! try to send at least side and 3/4 views. unless you want it to look like a certain photo.

One of my cousins recently opened an art gallery back where I grew up, so I shall be talking to him about putting some of my things there... YAY ^_^

On Saturday I am going to Jr. League football to draw some of the children for a fundraiser... and i get to keep half the profits! yay again!

On Monday I start working teaching a gymnastic preschool class. If that goes well i might also work with the older kids... It's been a while since I have been around it but I am sure it will come back to me ^_^

During next week... I will start going downtown every day to help work on the huge mural <3 yay for that also!

Things are slowly going together for me ^_^ finally...
