I'm sorry. I guess lately I've just been writing a whole lot more than I've been drawing. And my Hitsugaya obsession has escalated to new heights. I even got myself a livejournal account.

But I hope that with summer vacation coming in another five weeks I can get back into action here.

Finals are over! Finally! *melts into my wonderfully cushioned chair*

Everything has been hectic this past week. And the week before too. The teachers all wanted us to turn in semester projects before finals, and then all of this insane review and the presentations. I hate highschool.

But now I've got the day off so I can idle around the house to my heart's content! x3 And I can finally finish off some of the stuff I've been drawing lately.

I've also gotten hooked on yet another manga recently. Detective Conan. ^^ Also known as Case Closed. I can't stop reading it. Heiji-kun is hilarious. And Kudo-kun can be very adorable when he wants to be. I think that's where I've picked up my sudden interest in dead bodies. Though that show Bones may have something to do with it too.

Geez. I swear I just keep getting weirder and weirder....

I guess I haven't been very active lately. That's because of homework. And all I can sneak in during class time are doujinshi pages because the other stuff I'm working on at the moment (Sanosuke from RuroKen and a big piece with Ren and Yoh from Shaman King) require much reference from their respective mangas. T.T In other words, I'm not good enough yet to draw 'em free hand, but I can't be caught reading manga while my History teacher is giving a lecture.

Anyway, not too much going on. Lots and lots of homework. Any more and I swear I'm quitting IB. This just ain't worth it. T.T

I've been reading Bleach a lot lately. I even watched a few of the later episodes of the anime. windy-chan is now officially a Hitsugaya Taichou fangirl (and one of the few respectful ones x3). I really hate to use that word "fangirl" but it's true. It's Killua all over again. I can't go a single day without thinking about him.

Why is he so close to Hinamori? What made him decide to join the soul society's ranks? What's all this crazy "reincarnation" stuff? If he's the youngest, then why does he seem more like a babysitter for the others? x33

Well, in other words, little Kil's got some competition. Funny how the two of them are rather alike. ^^

What the title said. Seriously. I just sit here all day doing pointless stuff when I should be drawing and doing homework! D; It's starting to bug me! I have absolutely no motivation! I think, "Ooh! I wanna draw that!" and then I just switch to the next song on the list and re-read the Hunter x Hunter and One Piece mangas for the third time over. T.T

windy needs motivation! What gets you guys off your butts? I must know the secret to leading a remotely productive life. For the sake of the millions of ideas floating through my head that can't get out 'cause I'm so friggin' lazy. xP


On a slightly less frantic note, I have a question concerning one of the afore-mentioned "millions of ideas" that I've been too lazy to act on. windy-chan has seen tons of Naruto fans creating their own three man cells, giving the characters histories, making little jokes about them. Nothing like a doujinshi, just a bunch of characters to play with and draw. And I thought it might be fun to do something like that. Unfortunately, windy-chan isn't much of a Naruto fan. So ... I came up with a slightly different idea.

Does anyone think it would be interesting if I created my own One Piece pirate crew?

Hmm. What should I say? Well, the next few things I'll be putting up are the next page of the HxH doujin and a series of three pictures I penciled in while I was in Arizona. I have to pen them in and CG them first though. They're of three professional assassins, but they're all kinda messed up in the head. Kinda like Killua-kun and his family. ^^

I've been watching a whole lot of One Piece lately to get my mind off of stupid things. So I've been lazy. I'm trying to start some new things and finish old things, but I'm just so darn stubborn that even I can't talk myself into doing things. xD

My dad sorta ... died.

That poem I made an attempt at writing was for him. Well, anyway, that's why I haven't submitted anything or commented on anything or really done anything at all for the past two days. 'Cuz out here, there's only one computer I have access to, and it's not mine. xP

So ... um ... yeah. I'm surrounding by old ladies crying their hearts out, and it makes me feel like a jerk for not being as upset as they are. Even my little brother cried. So ... windy-chan has now come to the horrible realization that she is cold and heartless. But I guess I already knew that, now, didn't I? xP Well, at least the food's good, neh?


Now that I've got that out of my system, I shall tell the infamous tale of what happened during our drive out here. Usually the drive consists of about six hours in a relatively air conditioned Ford Explorer. But not this time. No. About two hours into the trip, we hear this strange noise. Then the car starts vibrating like crazy, and we see tire bits shooting at high speeds through the air. Now, this is never a good sign. Mom pulled over off the freeway. Yes, we were on the freeway. Something like this never happens next to a gas station or across from an auto shop. It always happens out in the middle of nowhere.

And so we sat helplessly in the car just long enough to allow our bodies to soak us thoroughly in sweat but not quite long enough to go insane from heat stroke while Mom called the Auto Club. Then a random stranger appeared in a big, old, black truck, got out, walked over to our open windows, and said he'd like to help. My first thought was, "Thank you, steriotypical road side cliches! I will never doubt you again!" My second thought was, "Aw, crud. He's gonna kill us all." x3

Well, it turned out that this random stranger was named Erin, although I don't know if that's the right spelling. He had sunglasses, longish brown-blonde hair, faded jeans, and a baseball cap. That's all I remember. xP Anyway, he replaced the wheel after we finally found the right tools which happened to be hiding in anywhere but plain sight, saying lots of intelligent things mixed with car lingo like "lugnuts" and 'jacked up the car." All I actually heard was the car lingo. x33

He fixed up the wheel, made sure we were ready to set off again, and even let us sit in his wonderfully air conditioned truck while he did so, and he never asked for anything in return.

Erin, wherever you are ... you are my saviour! <333333 I will never forget that black Ford truck! If it weren't for you, we would all be dead from dehydration before the Auto Club people ever even figured out where it was we were stuck. So thank you for being a good samaritan and for making sure your air conditioning is in perfect working order.

I had heard that it ended in a cliff hanger, but I must admit I wasn't expecting what happened. It makes me angry, sad, happy, and excited all at once. I'm not sure I can wait until the next movie. At least not quietly anyhow. I'm just gonna have to keep telling myself, "He's okay, He's okay, He's okay!" T.T


I'm drawing up the next page of the HxH doujinshi, though it's taking me much longer than I expected. Between faulty pannel layouts, summer homework, and my easily distracted grey matter, things have been troublesome lately. Just thought I'd give a heads-up that I am, in fact, working on it.


windy-chan has never done this before, but she feels like starting something new ... so she shall now list a bit more than clubs at the bottoms of her journals. ^^

I am taking therapy so as not to become murderous over school coming up again, so at least you have no need to worry about suicide or homicide or anything of the like. xD Many a highlighter, pen, and pencil may suffer under my wrath though. ^^


I tried to color that Illumi and Killua puppet picture in with colored pencils, but Illumi's skin turned out looking like he had been in the sun a bit too long, so I'm not sure if I'm gonna put it up. x3 I've got a picture of Killua and Gon posing with playing cards in progress and a contest pic for ~KilluaxGon-love formulating in my head, so those will most likely be the next things to come up.

Remember when I said that the scanner was in league with the DVD player? Well, I have learned how much it sucks to be right. x3 Right after the scanner started working again, the DVD player ate my Spiral DVD. D< We had to take the whole thing apart, piece by piece, screw by screw. And when we finally got the DVD out, it was all scratched up and now some of the episodes are ruined. T.T Poor Little Kosuke-kun.


Anyways, yeah. windy-chan joined another club. Another HxH club. That's surprising, neh? x3 This one's a Killu-Gon club run by ~Kikane. She's a beautiful artist. <3 windy-chan can only dream of being that good.

My scanner has once again copped out on me for some unknown, unexplainable reason. I, personally, believe the scanner fairies living inside of it have grown to hate me over the years and are starting a conspiracy with the DVD player, but I suppose everyone has their own opinions. x3

I guess the point of this entire journal is to inform everyone that my scanner is not working, so I have no idea when I'll be able to scan in anything new.

To clear things up as what has really been going on, my dad is dying, my grandma is dying, and my grandpa is dying all at once. Isn't life grand? xP Anyway, after visiting them all, my inspiration for Mystic went down the drain. I just can't bring myself to draw up another page of it.

So ... to keep my mind off reality, I started reading a lot of manga. And what else was I to find but Hunter x Hunter?! <3 I am now absolutely hooked. Togashi-sensei really made it shine. ^^ The places, the characters, the stories ... They all drag me in, and I don't want to be pulled out.

Especially when it comes to Killua-kun. There's just so much to him: his origins, his goals, his personality, his fears (which goes right along with his origins. x3), even the way he looks. ^^ Killua Zoldyck is my newest obsession. x33

Well, when I ran out of manga, I tried to amuse myself by thinking up different plots and the like. Once school ended though, I decided to take those ideas and plots and put them down on paper.
