After much thinking, I have decided to take down my work here. I got a virus from just browsing my own page while using an ad block program. I don't want anyone who wishes to view my work or even buy something from me to have the chance of getting a virus just for looking.

I want to thank everyone who has taken the time of day to glance over my stuff, I really appreciate it and hope to see you around. Good luck to those whom I would be honored to call my friends, though you all are so talented you don't need it

Really now? Do you have to fool me into thinking I have a message just to remind me I don't have a subscription? Yes I know, I've known that for the majority of the two years I have been here that I haven't had a subscription. I am a poor college student barely getting by with food in my stomach and you feel the need to pester me about not paying what like $30 bucks a year to be able to make my journals prettier. Thanks, but I have (insert Myspace/F-Book/Whatever here) to do that.

Love the ads too.. NOT. (Yeah so I'm starting to make an argument on why I might want to consider the subby). It's kinda sad to see a site that normally prohibits guests from seeing mature content supporting an ad of two pixelized women going at it. Even with NoScript, some still get through the filter.

And no, I don't want to buy your Fella Plushie. What would I do with that? Let my cats eat it? Meh, there are cheaper toys from Walmart. Thanks but if I wanted something, I know where your Shop link is, and I can look for myself.

Omg, I am so excited to see deviant art finally making greeting cards an option. I have been looking forward to this for a long time now!

I have been swamped with work lately, and also swamped with your attention, and I am very honored and happy everyone is enjoying my latest pieces. Hey guys!

So, as you probably already have seen, I got my new kitten! If you didn't read the description for Bebe Kitteh, he is a 4 1/2 month old male orange tabby (mix breed) kitten. He is very adorable and loves people. Last night I was watching him eat in the kitchen and when he was done, he sat at my feet and meowed. I asked him "what" and he sat up on his back paws and stretched his front paws up to me as if asking me to pick him up. I certainly obliged.

In other news, I recently opened up a shop at Cafepress which you can access here [link] . I think I have just grown tired of dA's print services. When they launched the 2.0 version they promised a lot of things which they have still yet to make available. That, and I haven't had much luck since getting a prints account (though luckily I have been grandfathered into the subscription till hell freezes over). I've only sold two prints, and because the total profits have not exceeded $20 bucks, they won't send the check to me.

Meanwhile, Cafepress offers a wider array of products including notecards, which I have been trying to find for awhile now. I had been thinking about getting the equipment to make them myself (or hiring a company to make them with my images), but the upstart fees are just too much for me right now. This will hold me over until I can afford it. I've already reserved a website as well.

I don't want to beg but I am a starving college student with a new baby kitty to feed (I'm just teasing, I take very good care of him), so please buy my prints or some cards, or a puzzle! Heck even a magnet would be an honor!

Hey guys, how's it going? I'm doing pretty well. Thank you so much for all the attention I have been getting lately, I really appreciate it. And Sophia is very excited to be an upcoming model! I noticed that I haven't had very many new photographs of Klondike in so long, but hopefully that will soon change.

Sooo, I am getting a kitten very soon! I am very excited. We are going to adopt from the Bangor Humane Society by my town. After living with animals my whole life, I just can't live in a place where there is no adorable furball running around. I refuse!

I have been trying to think of names, but every time I just come up blank. I am planning on getting a male short-haired kitten that will probably be either brown/orange tabby or some sort of patchwork (that seems to be the trend in colors at that place). I would rather know what his personality is going to be like, but I don't want to spend days calling him "Kitty, kitty" before I figure out a name for him. I would love to hear some name suggestions from you guys!

Wow, I can't believe I'm almost up to 3K page views, thanks so much guys!

Things have been so hectic but I think it's finally under control. I finally got a job so that helps. The job market where I live is ridiculously terrible. I applied for at least 30 jobs and I only got one interview . So now I am working at a restaurant again and at first I didn't know how I would like it. I am hostessing and doing what they call quality service which is basically busing plus helping the wait staff out. After having a few shifts though I have come to really like the people there, so I think it will be alright.

I can't believe it is almost July already, where is my summer going so fast? We finally got internets and tv, and we are basically all moved in. My own place.

Soon, when I have the money, I will be getting a kitten! And then I will flood the deviations with kitty pictures. Until then, thanks for watching or stopping by!

First of all, thank you for being patient about the pictures.. though I am probably more anxious than anyone. Some recent updates:

The baby is doing great, but the best part is that her momma is being awesome. The last time we had a baby with her, she would have nothing to do with the baby and would be very angry when he tried to nurse. This time is completely different. She is actually a little over protective and never leaves Amirah's side. The filly actually makes her mum leave the gorgeous green grass to go down to the barn often for nursing and avoiding the bugs. Sometimes we have to lock them up in the paddock just so the baby leaves her alone enough to get some eating in. Haha, Amirah is such a baby (literally!) when it comes to bugs, and there are barely any out right now! When the gate is closed, she just runs around near it neighing like she is being eaten alive. What a little princess indeed.

Sohpia, our barely one-year old kitten, has finally been taught to use the cat door and let outside. At first she was quite terrified, but now she likes to go for walks with the other cats and loves to get attention from people, though inside she stays away from them.

I've (kinda) moved into my new apartment but it still needs a lot of work and it has really been consuming my time lately. Though soon I hope to have my desktop up and running because I have been craving to use my tablet. We had to repaint two rooms, repair sinks and toilets, and now our washer is spewing water on the floor. Great. I can't clean until everything is fixed, and I can't completely move in until everything is clean. Ever get that feeling you are running in circles?

Anyway, sorry for the wall of text! But I just wanted to thank everyone that watches me, or just stops by for a minute. It really means a lot to me! I hope you enjoy these new images, and please check back for more. Thanks again guys!

My parents just called me to inform me that our horse finally had her baby! It seems like we have been waiting almost three years for this as our stallion was too young to impregnate her a couple years ago (and we have been trying since!).

It's a filly! She is already standing and wobbling around while mum is recovering from her effort. She is a dark baby (hopefully she will end up black) with a large white star on her forehead and no other markings. It is our mare's second baby and our stallion's first. YAY!

Yes, I'm sorry, I will work on that as soon as I can. From finals, to recovering from a really bad stomach flu, I have been quite busy. Later this week I will be returning home for awhile to get some money and hopefully the use of a car. Then I will be back up here to move into my new apartment. Puppies (and kitty) soon!

ANNND! I commissioned the amazing artist *south-wind to do a digital drawing of my Arabian, Shah Barak. She has completed it and it can be found here [link] I am so excited about it! I took it to Staples and got a large print which I framed and it is so gorgeous, I just can't believe it every time I look at it. YAY!

I have so much stuff to upload but I can't just yet because the scanner is still having problems. Darn wireless connection and Vista.. it's the debil I swear. So as soon as we get that going, expect lots of new, interesting things to look at. And puppies! Yes a few animal pictures from my final project at the Humane Society.

Yay for being done class! During finals week I discovered that I caught the stomach flu. It was terrible, and I am still recovering but I am doing better now. It is the worst thing for a person who loves food as much as I do to get. I miss delicious foods..

In another happy note, I will be moving into my new apartment at the end of the month and I couldn't be happier. I really cannot wait. And my mom is buying me a microwave, woot!

Well it has been awhile since I updated on here. I would be posting my latest projects but it seems as if the scanner is on the fritz. The portrait assignment was finished with a self portrait of me looking sad that I had to do a portrait. Then we had a Shadows and Reflections project which I did really well on. The latest assignment was a Document, for which I did Farm Life with photographs of my father on the tractor.. but she didn't seem to like any of it except for the ones I didn't print

But in brighter news, it's so WARM! Today is supposed to hit 70 degrees, and I feel like a little kid. I get to wear my sandals and my sunglasses (not just for the bright glare in the winter). Maha, our Egyptian Arabian mare is only 5 weeks away from giving birth to Rocky's baby. We are all very excited, she is HUGE. She waddles instead of trots haha. We are all hoping for a little black filly. She is not too happy about the news however, but I told her she shouldn't have fooled around with him for almost 3 years (He was too young for awhile and she faked us out about being pregnant one winter when we couldn't afford the ultrasound).

Hope you all are doing well, and thank you for the watches and the faves. I will try to add some more as soon as I get the scanner fixed.

So my next photo assignment is the classic portrait. I hate taking pictures of people, it feels so fake. Animals don't care that they are being photographed, they just do what they naturally do. Humans on the other hand.. Yes you can make a portrait look as if it wasn't posed, and sometimes they are truly spontaneous, but most of the time they are carefully scrutinized and thought out.

First of all, I don't have models at my disposal, and secondly, I don't feel comfortable telling them what to do. That's why most of my portraits are of myself. That way I can get what I want without feeling demanding or creepy or dirty (heh).

The only thing is, I think it is much more difficult. Most of the time I need the camera to be on a tripod and either on a timer or with the off camera shutter. With my new (yet old) little film camera, I don't have any accessories. I'm a bit at a loss as to what I should do. Meh. I guess I will figure something out. Maybe I just make things more difficult than they have to be. We'll see.

I just hate portraits!

Who Knew It Would Be So Hard?

To get into the only class I wanted? But I did! After dismissing any ideas that it was going to happen, I went into winter break a little dismayed but content that I did at least have Intro to Wildlife Conservation. But after the first day of classes I received an email from the professor of Photo informing me of the empty spot. Almost instantly after she sent the email, I signed up for the class.

To think this all would have been avoided if transfers actually worked instead of them considering me a freshman due to credit hours. =/ Oh well, I'm in Photo! Yay! I expect more uploads of my projects on here throughout the semester so stay tuned. Though it is just a refresher course for me, it will be nice to have something to relearn and there will probably be new stuff as well.

Update: It's almost the end of the semester so there's tons of work to do! I made a video for one of my classes but I don't think I can upload it here. =/ Other than that, I've been mostly working in Final Cut Pro. Nothing really to post here, but I hope to have some new photos soon.. the snow is gorgeous!

I'm Alive

Hrm, it's been much too long since I've been back on here. Firstly, I apologize for disappearing off the face of the planet. I've been so involved with craziness, it's not even funny. Secondly, I'm sorry for any and all of you that I have lost contact with, it wasn't my intention but sometimes life takes you through all sorts of unexpected twists and turns.
Yes, I did come back safely from Canada, though I experienced some things that I shall leave unsaid. After that, I was thoroughly consumed in school work (which is most important in my opinion), and suddenly before I even knew it, it was summer. Dial up is a little too difficult to work with, coupled with the fact that I live on a gorgeous farm and would rather be outside any day of the week, caused me to ignore most pieces of advanced technology. We left for Florida in late May, and it was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. Soon, I hope, I will be able to show some of my work that I was able to capture while down south. Shortly after Florida came my quest for a job. I worked at a restaurant for the summer, and again time disappeared from me and suddenly it was September. Back to school I go.
I'm pretty sure I will be much to busy to spend much of my time here on dA but I will try every now and then to throw up a quick update, and a few pieces of work. Again I'm sorry for disappearing.

On to the show.

These truly are exciting times, my friends.

First of all, spring break is almost upon me, and it will be over two weeks long! The first week will consist of one of my best friends traveling from far aways to visit me, and lots of hanging out with the family and good friends! The second week will be devoted to the inevitable homework I will be assigned, but at the end, a bunch of my friends and I are going to CANADA! Hopefully beforehand I will be able to order my birthday present.. check this out boyz and gurlz.. [link] Wee! A point-and-click with manual options, 8 mp, and a decent lens? Wow!

The trip to Disney World is just about set in stone.. so wish me luck! I'm praying I'll find lots of money in people couches, dryers, parking lots.. gosh anything...

Meanwhile, I've been working really hard on my schoolwork. I've just completed a painting for a study in gray scale. I had to paint Tom Thomson's Algonquin, Autumn in black and white (the true painting has vibrant shades of oranges, yellows, and greens). It was quite the challenge to try to paint the mostly abstract naturalist painting that had been painted in oils with acrylics, but I think I did a decent job, at least that's what my professor said. Over spring break, I'm going to have to do the "Man vs. Machine" project that will involve me taking one of my photographs in black and white, and painting it. Kinda scary, I know. =/

After vacation, I will be attending a Pimps and Hos party that my friends are throwing in celebration of a bunch of birthdays that happen to be very close together (Zach's is March 18th, and Alex's and mine is on the 20th). I think it will be quite interesting to say the least haha

My Dream is Disney!

Good evening my lovely poppets,

My mother calls me this morning and says;

"Good morning honey, can you do me a favor? Now don't get your hopes up, but can you please check out some Disney World vacation package prices for me while I'm at work today? I'm trying to talk your father into it.."

OMG DISNEY WORLD! So I go online and check stuff out. Seems as if going to Disney for seven days and six nights is going to cost over 3.5k (including airfare) for four people. Not to mention the spending money one would need for such an excursion. My family probably can't afford this. But, it has been a long time dream of mine to visit the Animal Kingdom, and with my photography skills I have now, I believe if I go, I'll be able to get some pretty amazing shots.

So here is where you come in. If any of you were ever debating on whether or not to buy my prints, here is a great reason! You will be able to fund my trip to expand my knowledge of photography! I am also opening up commissions for awhile. Please note me for details. I think if there is a chance at all for this trip, we would be planning it for the early summer, once my sister and I get out of college.

Good evening my lovely poppets,

So I decided I wanted to make my journal pretty. And, thanks to =littledeviltoo I found this cute little thing. Maybe someday I'll code my own, but I haven't touched CSS and HTML since high school and I'm a little rusty. (Though I did use to make some sick Horseland pages lawl!)

Well, I had some of the craziest dreams last night. One was very emotional for me and the other was disgustingly graphic and horrific. Things I will not say in this journal, but if you wish to venture into the craziness, you may ask me via notes. Needless to say, I woke up with a raging headache. (I bet in a small way you kinda thought I was going to say a raging something else, didn't you? Ahaha). Well maybe they will give me some inspiration.

I'd like to have you all know that I am commissioning *WildSpiritWolf for a tattoo design that I hope to get in the next few years. I am really excited about it but I haven't been able to draw a good enough example for him yet. I'll keep trying! But basically it will be my two fursonas, Luna the pale yellow wolf with a white quarter moon on her forehead and a little tabby winged kitty with white wings, in a pose not unlike the Simba and Mufasa pose while they were watching the stars. If any of you want to take a stab at it and try drawing me an example, I shall handsomely reward you (whether that be with love, pictures, drawings, subbys, or whatever). I'd make it into a contest, but then again, I doubt anyone will do it.. soo yeah.

Well this journal is long enough, and I must get ready to go get a tetanus shot Apparently I haven't had one since '92 and the university requires one every ten years. Poo. I guess I'll see you all on the flip side.

Kinda Long, But With Features!

Good evening my lovely poppets..

I forgot how busy college life is. Between my classes, hanging out with friends, eating, tanning, and doing a bum-load of homework as well as throwing in some fun stuff, I've completely lost track of time.

It was a bit sad really, when I noticed at around 11pm that I had a missed call from my mother from 8pm and learned from the voice mail that my beloved Lost was on tonight.. And I missed it! Darn! Oh well, I was doing a commission for my dear friend :icondyrenavnatten: which, I think, turned out rather well. I would put the photo up here for you all but it really does not do the drawing justice.

Well, I'm really excited to say that I'll be seeing The Pink Floyd Experience [link] in almost exactly a week from now. I can't wait! I think it will be quite the.. what's a good word to use here.. uhh trippy? experience haha

In other news, is publishing his first novel City in the Dark which, from the first eight chapters I read, is going to be absolutely AMAZING! I can't wait, and you all need to check him out if you haven't already done so.

(Little side story here triggered by my abundant use of 'I can't wait,' my professor today noticed my frustration with a homework assignment I was trying to fix and said in his devious tone of voice, "You're impatient, aren't you?" To which I whole heartedly agreed haha)

Would you look him in the eye, with a straight face, and tell him that his compensation would be the ability to have his work shown to others as you drive down the street?

Would you offer a neurosurgeon the opportunity to add your name to his resume as payment for removing that pesky tumor? (Maybe you could offer him a few bucks for materials. What a deal!)

Would you be able to seriously even CONSIDER offering your web hosting service the chance to have people see their work, by viewing your website, as their payment for hosting you?

If you answered yes to ANY of the above, youre obviously insane. If you answered no, then kudos to you for living in the real world.

But then tell me why would you think it is okay to live out the same, delusional, ridiculous fantasy when seeking someone whose abilities are even less in supply than these folks?

Graphic artists, illustrators, painters, etc., are skilled tradesmen. As such, to consider them as, or deal with them as, anything less than professionals fully deserving of your respect is both insulting and a bad reflection on you as a sane, reasonable person. In short, it makes you look like a twit.

A few things you need to know;

1. It is not a great opportunity for an artist to have his work seen on your car/zine/website/bedroom wall, etc. It IS a great opportunity for YOU to have their work there.

2. It is not clever to seek a student or beginner in an attempt to get work for free. Its ignorant and insulting. They may be students, but that does not mean they dont deserve to be paid for their hard work. You were a student once, too. Would you have taken that job at McDonalds with no pay, because you were learning essential job skills for the real world? Yes, your proposition it JUST as stupid.

3. The chance to have their name on something that is going to be seen by other people, whether its one or one million, is NOT a valid enticement. Neither is the right to add that work to their portfolio. They get to do those things ANYWAY, after being paid as they should. Its not compensation. Its their right, and its a given.

4. Stop thinking that youre giving them some great chance to work. Once they skip over your silly ad, as they should, the next ad is usually for someone who lives in the real world, and as such, will pay them. There are far more jobs needing these skills than there are people who possess these skills.

5. Students DO need experience. But they do NOT need to get it by giving their work away. In fact, this does not even offer them the experience they need. Anyone who will not/can not pay them is obviously the type of person or business they should be ashamed to have on their resume anyway. Do you think professional contractors list the experience they got while nailing down a loose step at their grandmothers house when they were seventeen?

If you your company or gig was worth listing as desired experience, it would be able to pay for the services it received. The only experience they will get doing free work for you is a lesson learned in what kinds of scrubs they should not lower themselves to deal with.

6. (This one is FOR the artists out there, please pay attention.) Some will ask you to submit work for consideration. They may even be posing as some sort of contest. These are almost always scams. They will take the work submitted by many artists seeking to win the contest, or be chosen for the gig, and find what they like most. They will then usually have someone who works for them, or someone who works incredibly cheap because they have no origin...

Alright, I'm really sorry I haven't updated in forever. I've been busy settling down back into the school groove. Thank you all for your continued support in viewing my work, I truly appreciate it. I hope to have more updates in the future, but alas my father didn't allow me to take my baby (my camera) with me to school in fear it would be stolen (probably a good assumption). I do still have my tablet and I hope to have time to play with it. I also hope that I'll be able to get some decent scans of the artwork I've been doing class. In the short amount of time I had, I could only sign up for Drawing 1 and 2-D design.. oh well they are prereqs to what I really want to do. (And there are no photo classes this semester, what gives?!) But anyways, there's really not much to update or else I would have probably updated this sooner. I hope everyone had a nice break if they had one, thanks again guys! <3

Yep, I definitely thought I was going to be back on Monday but I ended up staying until today.. I had an amazing time with some of my best friends. Ohhh I can't wait till next semester!

I joined Astronomers Club, woo! I know, I'm not really that knowledgeable, and my astrophotography is basic, if anything. To be merry! Yes I know it is still a bit early, but there's only twelve days until winter solstice, and sixteen days until Christmas!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make my journal better looking? I'd like to add a little section about the prints I'm offering, about my dearest friends, and maybe even a spotlight as well. Any suggestions?

Big News!
I know, usually big news goes at the top, but oh well. For a limited time I am opening up commisions per request (hehe). If you would like a drawing or a photograph, please note me with all the details. I will draw most animals, preferably wolves, horses, and kitties. (Please nothing too difficult as I am still new to the tablet and still trying to figure out a style I can get used to.) As for photographs, I can do most animals, pine trees (lawl), scenic shots, and sky/moon/weather related shots (obviously limited to whatever weather we get and the phase the moon so happens to be in). Well, my tablet finally arrived.. (a Wacom Intuos3 6x11 [link]) and my mother said I could open it early! Thanks to Brandon for helping me set it up yesterday, two blondes working together is better than one ahaha! I've put up a few quick, probably around 10-minute or less sketches up in my scraps, so if you care to have a looksie, go right ahead. Let me tell you though.. This thing is AMAZING. If you can afford it, I suggest it for anyone whether you're a traditional or digital artist, photographer, or just a novice looking into developing your skills.

When we first pulled it out of the box, I was amazed at the almost paper-thin, weightlessness of the tablet. The stylus is very soft and easy to handle, probably lighter than a normal pen. The mouse is funky, and though I probably won't use it, I'm sure there are plenty of ways it could be useful to someone. The buttons and scroll touch pads on the sides are so nifty. Then we installed it and had some fun in Photoshop. The pressure sensitivity is incredible. You seriously need to try it out to believe it.

Anyways, enough of my rambling.. I should be a spokeswoman for Wacom haha.

Another Day, Another Journal

Wow I just forgot what I was going to write about. I guess I could write about my day. For some strange reason, even though I slept in till almost noon, I was tired and sluggish. But I donned my jacket, gloves, hat, and earmuff thingers to go riding in the frigid outdoors. On the trail we found the carcass of a doe, apparently shot without a permit. It was hack-jobbed skinned and butchered and left to rot on the side of the well-beaten path. I think I shall go take pictures of it tomorrow.

I'm too tired to write more, though as soon as I hit "Add" I will remember what it was that I wanted to say in this journal. It is a losing battle I know.

And as if I haven't mentioned it a billion times.. thank you for viewing my work, you have no idea how much it means to me.

Yepp.. I'm at work. Yes, I suppose I could get in trouble for dAing it up whilst on the clock. Oh well haha. This morning has been really busy but it's starting to die off now. Just in time for lunch woo.

For those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope it was grand with lots of feasting, napping, and much enjoyment of the football games/parades/dogshow or whatever else you may have done.

Speaking of the dog show, I am very unhappy the toy poodle won again this year.. Come on! How about that Great Pyrenees? He was gorgeous! I was also sad to see neither the Siberian Huskey nor the Malamute get into the Best of Show running. The husky was sooo beautiful. And of course I was rooting for the Chesapeake Bay Retriever (Miss you Bullet..), but this year's contestest wasn't as great as last year's (sorry!).

In other news, I still need to send out my Holiday Card deviation. I keep forgetting >< Once again, my watch list has been going crazy, damn you all are hard at work! I think I finally caught up with comments today. I myself have been working on personal projects. I've started a scrapbook (oh gawd...), am currently working on an artsy x-mas present for my parents, and I still have more to do.

I actually was able to get some riding in yesterday O_O Poor Rocky fell in the ring as I was lounging him because it was a bit muddy. Other than that, he was pretty decent, and was very well behaved around the girls. My dad, our friend Ginny, and I went on a trail ride to the top of the mountain. When we were heading back down again, we came upon a puddle and Rocky refused to step in it. So I waved my dad and Ginny on, and attempted to get Rocky to go through it. Well, I was so close when suddenly my dad decided it would be a great idea to canter with Ginny. So the girls took off and I'm left with a half crazed young stallion who thinks that 1. the puddle is going to kill him and 2. there is a terrible monster that the others are running away from. I managed to jump off before he threw me, but damn was that a close call. Guess I'll have to work on the puddle-jumping some other time heh.

Okay this is a ridiculously long journal. I'll be ending it now. Thanks again for all the dA love. I'll write again sometime soon, and hopefully not to bore yall so much haha.

Update! I'm redoing all of my prints so they have a respectable border and title on them and adding even more.. Here's one for an example.

I haven't really had much time to do anything. I wasn't really fired, but transfered to a new job with the same company and that, as well as real life chores and stuff has really taken up most of my time. Soon, I hope to add more to my novel, and finish the first chapter so I can post it up here. But for now, I'll just have little tidbits. Here is a poem I just wrote.. I don't know if I like it. As always, my poetry is freeform.

Lamentably I must confess,

The Battle That Cannot be Won

Oh my goodness, I have done it. I have finished a little explanation of the novel I am writing.. I hope it snags you all in! Hehe Actually I have done even more work than just that little snippet.. but all in good time, dear friends, all in good time. As for other art.. I've put my camera on hold really until something pretty happens outside... like SNOW! Weeee for snow! As for drawing, hmm well unless I get truly bored that will probably also be on hold until I get my tablet for Christmas.

In Other News - So I was sort of fired from my job.. But now I am the secretary for a couple weekends. Oh well it is something.. Still looking for something better.

Wow! 300+?! I am so flattered! Thank you all so much for your support and love! I could have never done this without you and your much needed critiques Here's to the future!

Well here I go plunging once again into the nine months of winter that is Maine. Haha I'm just kidding, it's more like seven months.. I guess it gives me ample time to take a lot of pretty snow shots.

WIP - As for specific shoots, I really don't have anything planned, but I will go with the flow. Around Christmas time I will be getting a tablet (YAY!), and then there should be much uploading of trying it out heh. Currently I am working on a novel, and as soon as I have anything relevant to read, I will post it here. But its going to be a long process.

Other News - As far as my job goes, I am guessing things are going to be grim by the end of tonight. Never fear though! I have many prospects lined up, and I should be alright. I am just way too nice to do telemarketing anyway.. It's not in my soul to demand people, and bother them at dinner time. And if pursuing something I love means kissing goodbye insanely fat paychecks.. so be it.. I think.. oh man. Haha.

Anyway, I've been real busy with work, trying to find a new job, training my horse, and other various activities (as you can see from my massive amount of recent gallery uploads). Well, when I went to show my self potraits to some of my friends last night, I was astonished to see over 40 comments and almost double the page views from a few days ago.. Amazing! O_O; I'm so tired haha. Maybe a better journal entry later when I'm not running on about 8 hours of sleep in three days.. Bleh.

This Will Be a Merry X Mas

Well, I keep gravitating back to art. Whether it's photography, drawing, poetry, novel-writing, I just can't get enough. And so I find myself once again addicted to DA. I just wish I had a nicer computer, a better connection than dial up, a tablet or scanner, or even a nice smaller camera to take pics of my artwork, and maybe some more skill. All in due time I suppose. Till then, there won't be much here =/ But I'll try my best to add as much as possible.

UPDATE 10/21/06: Wow, I just found out that the type of tablet I want is not a thousand dollars and so I shall write to Santa every day in hopes of seeing one under the tree on X Mas morning! Oh and I saw my car today.. I almost ran over to it, pulled the guy out of it, bopped him on his head, and took the car. My car. Ner. Yeah I almost did that... haha.

Update 10/17/06: So I asked a good friend of mine if he thought someone might buy a picture of mine if I got the prints update, and I was overwhelmed with enthusiam! So please if you like my work, I would be absolutely touched if you bought some! Woo I'm so excited. And I could really use the money.. haha

Well, I keep gravitating back to art. Whether it's photography, drawing, poetry, novel-writing, I just can't get enough. And so I find myself once again addicted to DA. I just wish I had a nicer computer, a better connection than dial up, a tablet or scanner, or even a nice smaller camera to take pics of my artwork, and maybe some more skill. All in due time I suppose. Till then, there won't be much here =/ But I'll try my best to add as much as possible.

UPDATE 10/17/06: So I asked a good friend of mine if he thought someone might buy a picture of mine if I got the prints update, and I was overwhelmed with enthusiam! So please if you like my work, I would be absolutely touched if you bought some! Woo I'm so excited. And I could really use the money.. haha

Update 10/16/06: Uploaded a few of my drawings and sketches in scraps, but I still have loads more to dig through haha. And apologies for the hideously poor quality.

Update 10/15/06: Ah yes, quick note here. All those lovey-dovey poems are quite old just to let yall know.. I'm just trying to upload as much stuff as I possibly can. Hmm oh yeah, I might be trying to upload my recent drawings too, but I'm putting them all in scraps (even if they are indeed finished) until I can find some kind of scanner..

Commisions: Closed. I really could use the money but I'm a horrible procrastinater, and I couldn't do that to someone patiently paying for and waiting for a piece of my work.

Requests: Open. To a degree. If anyone wants to suggest something, I'd be happy to try to do something about it. However there are a lot of limitations due to time contraints that I have, and what I am able to do. If you suggest a photograph, please remember that I am living in Maine and limited as to what I can get a picture of.. which is mostly trees.

A Mac platform
A tablet
A smaller, more managable camera
A scanner
A Mazda 6

Haha well I'll keep dreaming.. but in the meantime.. I am very open to gifts of a simplier nature, like comments haha Thanks to everyone who looks at my stuff!
