I am currently getting ready to head out to Sakura-con which is out in Seattle, Washington. 600 mile drive ... but man do I love it.

The drive is one of my favorite parts.

This will be my third year going. And it's so funny because I don't watch or enjoy anime anymore ... but I do love going to this place.

I'll be gone for five days, leaving on the 8th of April. You wont hear from me probably. Not that I wont have internet but because I'm not going to let the internet distract me from my fun time. LOL.

Okay, so this has been happening ever since HHAW has come out on DVD. I go into any electronics store that is showcasing BLUE-RAY DVDs and Hi-Def Television sets and they're always showing HHAW. Always. And it's always at or near the end of the movie. Always. And there's always a child 10 and under watching and I'm the only 20 and up adult watching it alone side them... always.

Yeah.

It's happened like eight times ... even today it's happened.

I find it hilarious ... and slightly sad.

And thus the story begins. A pseudo fairy tale if you will. hee hee.

There's a small Junk yard right next to my house, so close that there isn't even a fence. Yeah, Id jump the imaginary fence and go looking for crap in cars with my sister. And indeed all we found was crap. Like Tupperware bowls and spoons. I don't know why those where there...

Anyways right in front of the junk yard which is larger than our backyard ... it spans the whole length of the neighborhood; they're building this HUGE building. I don't know what it is...

We were looking at it while coming home and someone says, "Do you think its a Meth Lab?" And Kami replies with, "Its too big to be a Meth Lab."

We thought that because here in Idaho we have a lot of Meth Labs. Had one in our Neighborhood, and one in an old butcher house that's right next to the junk yard. The cops kicked the butcher-meth users out and they just moved across the street. They're still there and still pretending to sell used tires. Ugh. I. Hate. HICKS.

Thus ends the fairy tale.

Have you noticed that the last few of my journals (dating back to last year) are only about me complaining about my computer being down? Gets kind of annoying doens't it.

Since I don't have all the money in the world, I'm hoping to get just a plain-jane tower for my computer and keep the moniter and the speakers since those arn't damaged from two years worth of corruptness.

The last two days have been up and down for me. Extreme highs and a low there ,too.
I went to the dentist on Friday ... no big deal really. I must admit that I haven't been to one in years ... cause well, it's the procrastination in me. All went real well, x-rayed my teeth, and looked around. He said my teeth were really good and that I didn't have one cavity (heh, pretty proud of that ... *knocks on wood*) That was a good part ... what stopped it was that he then said that I had a problem ... and he got this serious look on his face. you know the look, it's like "omg, what threatening disease do I have???" He told me that the back of my teeth were being eaten away by acid and I could loose them... and also that it could be caused by two reasons. And then he looked right at me, while I'm sitting in a uncomfortable sticky chair, and says, "Now, I know this is kind of awkward because we've only met for ten minutes ... but, do you have any type of eating disorder?" ... that was like a bullet to the head for me. I kind of thought it was funny at the time and I answered with a surprised smile, "No. Not at all!" and then he looked at me like he didn't believe me. Then he said that if it wasn't that it was because I had Acid reflex disease ... and For SURE, I don't have that. I know why, it's because when I get high blood sugars (because of my diabetes) the acid in my stomach comes up and well, gnaws off my enamel and all that stuff.
Well, that was that. There weren't anymore problems ... it just, made me kind of upset, that he accused me of having an eating disorder. Believe me, I don't. Ask anyone, lol XD I LOOOOVE Food and just the thought of ppl barfing it back up makes me sick

I think I'm making myself sick, I haven't been eating a lot and I feel just blah.
But with the bad there is also good. The same day, we went to Hastings and I bought myself Volumes 2 and 3 of SAIYUKI!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I LOVE THIS MANGA! It's the best out there (next to dbz) ... that brought my spirits up greatly! and then secondly, the next big high is well ....

I am in total love right about now

I was privilaged enough to find a Creedance coldwater revival CD in an old cd case! It's awesome! I love it to death, It's got twenty songs on it and I can listen to them all and it's pure greatness! what a band!
I've been listning to a lot of big band and classic rock lately. I've notice recently that I'm opening myself up to more music.

I don't know about the rest of you but Tuesday was a great day, it was sunny and I was in a real good mood. Ah, maybe by the end of the day it'll be better.

who is always getting me the coolest presents! This time she was kind enough to get me a CD! and I've wanted this CD for the longest while! It has eighties music on it. Oh, I'm a huge sucker for the good ol' eighties! It's got duran duran, Wall of voodoo, ... all of those hits that I adore to know end. I'm listening to it right now and I don't think it'll ever grow old. I'm a sucker for "Mexican radio" if there were ever a great one hit wonder, that would be it ... oh, and "bittersweet symphony" by the Verve ... I'm listening to that as well. So thank you Kami!
I finally decided to get a new avatar ... though I think my old one was the greatest, I thought a new look was needed. Yes, it's the ever so lovely Seven! I thought his expression was darling in this picture so why not use it right? I love Raymond Jafelice style of drawing the 7lm's. I think it's so awesome! I might, later on, switch back to my old one ... only time will tell.
Hidalgo is out today, not that I am really interested in seeing this though. But it does give me the chance to sneak into Spokane and get some new buttons for my purse. Duke the pink flamingo need a new friend. It also gives me a chance to look for some CDs, I need to see if Best Buy might have some goo goo dolls cd's that I don't have already. I also would like to have some Wall of Voodoo and Urban Hyme by the Verve. I bought Sarah McLachlan's "Mirror Ball" I love it sooo much, such a great voice.
