We're still settling in, but I am on a school break this week and will try to log in a little more often and update soon. This was especially great to me because everyone in my family got to vote except me. Shoot, only needed one more year...

We didn't buy much, but I did get an American flag with the 44th president on it to remember and reflect back on today.

And also stood close to some people who climbed on top of some portal potties, walked across them, and started a cheer for Obama. I wonder if that ended up on Youtube yet... xD;;

Another year that has went by fast... *feels like she is moving in slow motion* OTL
I think this year was even worse than 2007 for me, but I guess I'll look forward to 2009 being better
I have a lot coming up soon in 2009: moving soon, learning more new skills (both personal and professional), and hopefully graduating near the end of the 2009 (if not, then early 2010). Hopefully, it'll be a good year ^^

My resolutions last year were:

-To procrastinate less
-To pass all my classes [Done]
-To exercise a little more [Done - Still need to exercise more xD;]
-To improve my drawing style a bit [Done...but, this is a continuous resolution]
-To watch more anime
-To break in a birthday gift that I haven't had time to use yet ><"

Last year sure went by pretty fast...
For me, 2007 was bittersweet. It was filled with a lot of good and bad memories.
But, overall, I guess it was an ok year.

New Years Eve was pretty good. My family went out to see 'I Am Legend' and fireworks at the waterfront. We missed most of the fireworks, but we got to see about 2 minutes of them before they stopped.
Thanks to my dad, we brought in the New Year with fried chicken. We were at a KFC drive-thru at exactly 12:00am xD;

My resolution for this year:

It was about a 5-hour car ride from Virginia to Pennsylvania. Well, my Dad said so.... I fell asleep after the first hour xD

Once we got there, we stayed at a Holiday Inn. We had quite a few problems with our room and the room key, though. O_o

Every single time we left and came back to our room, it wouldn't let us in and we had to go to the front desk to get them to open it for us. One time, we went to the pool and the key stopped working, so we had to go to the front desk in our swimming suits. ><"
It got kinda annoying.... >_>;;

Hershey Park was fun, though. Nothing cheers you up like dancing chocolate
We came on the '100th year of Happy' anniversary. It was awesome!
I think 'Butterfingers' was stalking my Mom, though xD

At the factory, in the food court, they were building a giant Hershey kiss! When it's finished, it's going to be the largest in the world.
We brought alot of kisses and Twizzlers. Bro and I even talked Dad into buying a 5-lb chocolate bar ^^

We also went to the movies in PA. We saw 'Ratataouille' and '1408'. Both were pretty good, I still want to go see 'Transformers', though.
lol, our hotel room reminded me of '1408'... xD;;

After we finished exploring Hershey Park/buying chocolate, we headed to New Jersey to go to Six Flags.

We stayed on base in NJ, at Deer Park. Dad rented us a housing unit. It was pretty nice there, deer where all over the place. But everytime I tried to take a picture of them, they all ran away ._.
Mom, Bro, and I all made sure Dad wasn't left alone with the deer. Dad's from the country and he eats deer, so....
We made sure not to leave him alone with them.

The only problem we had with the housing unit was our neighbors....
It was 1 o'clock in the morning and they were blasting country and rap music...
They also yelled alot... ><" So I didn't get as much sleep there.

Six Flags was great. But, Mom and I couldn't get Dad or Bro to ride on anything D:
Dad said he didn't want to die going on a rollercoaster (he said he saw a girl die on a rollercoaster on the news) and Bro didn't want to get on anything that went too fast. So, Mom became my 'ride buddy'. We didn't go too many roller coasters, because Mom said she still didn't feel that good. But, the rides we did go on were fun ^^

The 4th of July was great! We went to Walmart to buy a whole bunch of food (steak, chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, ect....) and we had a big barbeque.

I also brought KH2, there, too. *likes to wait a while til the prices go down*
We could hear the fireworks, but we couldn't see them. There were too many trees xD

The next day, Dad took us 'fishing'. We didn't catch anything, though. Mom says it's not called 'fishing' if you don't catch anything. Well, I didn't catch any fish but I caught a whole lot of seaweed. Maybe we should have used live bait instead of lures ._.

We ran out of days, so we didn't make it to Busch Gardens...
Dad had to head back to work.

But, it was pretty fun ^^
Everyone's schedule is getting hard to match up, so it maybe a while til our next vacation together.

So I may not be online for about 2 weeks.

My bro will be on his vacation from college and Dad's taking some days off. I'm not sure if Mom's coming because she said she's not feeling so good, but I hope she feels better soon and comes with us.

We're going to the Hershey Chocolate Factory and Six Flags. Dad's also talking about fishing and Busch Gardens. I think it's been about 6 years since the last time I've been fishing, I think o_< I'm not sure if I still remember how to xD;

Only thing is, Mom and Dad aren't letting me take my laptop or my art folder, though ><"
They said I can bring one notebook and a couple of pencils, that's it. I think it'll be filled up in about 2 and a half days ._.

I'm gonna take a lot of pictures when I go, though.

Me: This isn't the way to the movies....
Dad: "evil smirk* We're going to the movies, we're just going to a couple of furniture stores first~
Bro and me: Noooooo~!

We ended up going to about a dozen different furnitures (that all looked the same btw!)
and never made it to the movie theater.... [I disliked furniture stores to begin with.... dunno why, I just do... *shrugs*]

Etou, On a good note~

I got my new glasses today! (I can see! XD *cough*)
Everything looks clear and bulgy now. (not sure if that's a good thing or not... o_o)

And I got Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Christmas, I'm gonna practice with it til I get better at working with it ^^

I've been looking at the news about PS3 and Nintendo Wii... My brother and I was looking at the PS3... The news was saying there were fights breaking out over it... o_o
I know alot of people wants one *including me* but it seems like it's getting outta hand...

I'm gonna try to scan in some pictures soon, and play around with the GIMP program.
