Longest silence EVAR~!

Well, I was deperessed at the moment so I deleted my deviations from here... stupid me, yay. Whenever I get the time and whatnot, I'll repost my good Deviations here.

I think I was wishing for more pageviews and critiques but never really did anything to try and get them. And I wanted to draw but I also wanted people to automatically like what I drew...

Worst ways of thinking as an artist. I know.

As for mi art, well... it's been hindered. I got the lineart done and redrawn on the large sheet, 18"x24". But now, I need a drawing board, something soft and smooth I could carry around and never have to take this paper off of. I also think I'm short of a few prime pencils but Hobby Lobby doesn't sell the ones I need individually. Bum bum.

I wasn't even watching that. Glad to see that I'm gettin' glimped at but... not too happy to see how often I'm commented on.. -sigh- Ah well. I've been too busy to run around to comment on other peoples' work. >.<

Yar, Work's been hell. Mah boss has been awesome enough to give me tons of overtime and extra hours. Very cool. However, it's been busting mah brain into pieces. 'n' those last two drawings I finished weren't easy either.

Nao, it looks like I might be coming to an end for a VERY long time.

Quickly before that, Gotta mention that I has OC o_O... Willin' to OC with you guys, whoever wants to leave me a note, yah.

As for my end comin', It's getting harder to put out works and the more effort I put into one, the harder it is for me to recover.

Oh yah! I found the joys of FurAffinity! I'ma be posting my good stuff from here onto there. They're a lot friendlier about my works >.<

Aaaaand I found a song artist that goes by FoxAmoore on FA, beautiful music. o_O I like in particular his piano pieces; one which really drove me close to crying. Lawl, if you find me on there, drop a line. Same nick 'n' whatnot. Same artwork too. I just like the atmosphere there because they actually fave like hell. I gotta start wandering that place and showing up on peoples' threads more often there.

One complaint about FA... Highly unregulated and a very high tollerance for adult art. It's not really my liking but hell, at least it's mah kind o' people.

Mmm, still coloring away; Neph 'n' I've got a buncha drawings in mind to do partially in fault of FoxAmoore and his moozik. Goodness...

Oh! And Neph's been a lot more playful nowadays Definitely a good sign.

Uhm, I found myself doing work on My Window again... Glance at the current Work in Progress in the Gallery.

Yah, I found I really couldn't handle finishing the Character Sheet for Sasha even when I DID try to force myself back into it... It might be because I absolutely HATE working with Black as a Core Color. Dark colores are horrible to use as Cores but then that's why all my drawings are usually bright and shiney.

As for my personal life, lawl, I'm workin' hard on my classes. Lotsa papers and mid-terms this coming week. They're being brutal! Zomigosh!...

Lesh see... Still playin' World of Warcraft on occasion. It's good stress relief.

Oh, I found out I realleh need someone for some mental/emotional stability. Just someone I could talk to would be nice lol... if not, I think my WoW guild master will think I'm a li'l bit too far off my rocker. Sis thinks that already! Woo!>

Then again, being normal is overrated. -shrug- Still lookin' though. o_O

Oooh, Spring Break... Sis Jopam's comin' over!... maybe... if I don't scare her off o.O; Goodness... She scares easily. Anyway, I'm lookin' forward to it big time.. Haven't seen her in forever. Maybe I could get another drawing done of her! Woo!... I mean, the last one I did of her is some four to five years old. I HOPE my drawing has gotten a lot better since then. Wow... No, I'm not gone from dA, Just on Hiatus until we're well again.

I've got a broken window... broken wall... broken cellphone... assorted broken figures in my room...

A broken self...

Went to the Doc on the 14th... He could prescribe me meds to help chain the inner demons but he couldn't do anything to fix me.

My cat is long passed away...
Grandfather's still in a coma...

We found a stray dog about a week ago and tried to take care of him... Last night, I ended up in ER for a dog bite, four gashes. Almost lost my thumb. Now... he's gonna be hauled away by Animal Control and be put to sleep...

He's just a puppy... a shy lonely puppy I accidentally pushed too far.

Why do the things I care about end up breaking me?

I want to go back... I really do... but both Neph 'n' she have taken a stand to see it doesn't happen. I can't... make.. that mistake again...

She's still as squirlly as ever... And the same loveable kitten I remember from High School.

We still got that Link I've missed for a long time. She reminded me of what I was before I met -Her-... She reminded me of what it meant to be afraid, to be hurt and bogged down. When I got in contact with her, she reminded me of... Me.

She reminded me how to be strong again.

The storm hasn't stopped but it did get a little brighter.



I still need to burn the rest of those... those memories.

I hit a rut in my creativity and motivation... It's like I lost all my imagination in creating those same characters onto paper... or something like that. Like... I can't form them in my mind. Of course, Neph's always here running to and fro but the other characters are way hazy...

I seriously need to do something about it. I need a rampaging depression to set in...


Next up, the past week was awesome! ~pricklyzipper was over for a week 'n' we went to the malls and the boardwalk... But then she had to go home... kinda brought this week down to sub par levels...

What makes it worse is that mah kitty might be put to sleep today... He's too weak to get up or move now. He's almost 20 years old, too. Rilly old kitty.



Sucks...

Instead, I've been working on making my characters more interactive as shown by my latest experiment. =o There's two in thar this time! And they're doing something... together!

Tch... I really hate drawing hands... and breasts... I hate drawing hands and breasts.
With hands, theres the complexities of the fingers and the tilting of the hand as a whole.
With breasts, mess one up, you mess them both up. lol... lopsided-ness.

I gotta get one of those hand block models.

Do you artists out there ever get oober discouraged after seeing the pwnage art around the web? Take WeaverNocturne and Bittenhard in DA... So dynamic, they make my stuff feel stiff and dead. Oh, way to go on your works, by the way!

But yeah... I'm gettin' to work on the Nidoqueen again outfitting with graphite backgrounds before goin' at it with color. Phew...

Laptop's only two years old, too... I think I found a piece o' candy dating back to the 1960s wedged between sketches of mine.

Don't ask.

Anyway, While browsing, I figured I could toss in some older stuffs into the Deviation pile considering I haven't improved much since then. (Someone please prove me wrong.)
I really want some serious critiques... or any critiques for that matter.

Anyway, I plan on replacing this thing for a Tablet PC so I could use it for drawing too. Never owned a Drawing Tablet before either so it'd be a double bonus for me: Replacement Laptop & a Drawing Tablet rolled into one.

I just gotta remember this time not to have it running 24/7 like I did this thing...

Nao to save up for the Tablet Fund...

In the meantime, I took up writing again since there's no contribution for a background on my poor Nidoqueen. She wants a place to be with her egg!

I suppose I'll spend tonight revising and proofing the short story and just have it posted... it's not great but It'd be another Dev that might get a hit or two if any.

Not too great a time to be up but it sure beats sunlight.
The house is quiet... nothing left but me and my thoughts and a stray T.V. left on Family Guy. Buahaha!

Yeah... I've been spending the whole day working on Nidoqueen's coloration. I'll admit, it's fun as hell to do but it's also tedious. I ended up passing the time just thinkin' about her... and what would happen if she were real.

She's lookin' good. Only problem I got is doing her breast plating. The cream pencil always ends up blending everything I don't want it to... Now I got streaks in the middle of her breasts, so evil.

I'll try to fix the damage but I don't know how much more abuse the paper can take. -_-;

Perhaps see the color without background go up on... Thursday if I'm lucky... Friday if I'm not.

I've got a few things planned... I need to make a DevID...

And I'm a Geek so there's two Pokemon Drawings I want to do... I wonder how well I can pull these off.

One is of Eevee and its evolutions all in anthro form, how hawt can that be?

The next one is of me and my Pokemon team from Ruby. Two Blaziken, a Milotic, Xatu, Ninetails, and Mightyena.

This is going to be fun... I wonder if this'll get anyone to visit.

This place isn't half bad but I get like... no views whatsoever... which means even less commentaries. Ah well... I'ma n00b.

Well, I finally figured out TODAY that I don't need to make thumbnails for my drawings. Suddenly, life got a whole lot more simpler.

As for scheduling updates, Expect one every Saturday or so, I'll try to at least upload one drawing a week.

I'm in college and the workload is no joke so I'm lucky if I even get one drawing done in a week.

Anyway, I'm actually planning on coloring this Ratesian drawing I conjured up Monday, metink. I have no idea on a color scheme and I really don't care. It'll be... Fun. I might keep scans of the progressions in my Scrap heap so everyone sees what it's like when I use my Prismas.

Ah... What I wouldn't do for just one strong commentary on my drawings...

There's the homepage. Expect it to take awhile to load... it WILL freeze your browser for a moment while it does. O.o' I mixed Flash with HTML (and I really need to fix it).

Anyway, Most likely I'll end up having a lot more scraps than actual Devs. Scraps are more fun to make <3.

If you haven't noticed, I am an anthro artist (and possibly an insane one at that). It's all I draw... I can do requests and whatnot but.... that's only if I ever feel like it (which depends on the time of year and when the hormones kick in.... don't ask).

Never had a blog before, Only other online gallery I had was in Elfwood. By gosh, I hope this one doesn't end up like that one....
