Around mid-December, my mom got an email and it led to her son emailing her.. first time they've talked since she gave him up for adoption 38 years ago. He was born and thats all my mom ever got to do with him other then name him. He now goes by Kent.

He is coming to visit in March, expect pictures on my other account.

I've also started to have feelings for someone. My b/f and I are in an open relationship but it's still making my head spin. We went to see a movie and I wanted to rest my head on his shoulder during the movie, then when we went to go back to where he was staying I felt warm and wanted to lay my head on his lap and snuggle with him.

I'm a little baffled and confused by this as to be truly honest I havn't really felt like this since I split with my ex near 3 years ago... I'm just really lost and don't know what to really do...

THREE times in one year I've seen humanity when times have been their hardest for me.

Feb 14th:
I blew out a tire while driving home and two families stopped and helped me change me tire and I finally learned how to do it.

Feb 17th (I think):
I was driving down to San Antonio with two friends to grab another friend when the tire blows out on my friends car. A motorcyclist stops and helps then the jack breaks and just as all hope seems lost. A police man stops and helps us out.

April 17th:
I was out taking pictures of lighting during the storm that was and still is currently rolling through the area. I got stuck in mud and was just about to find a spot in the back to sleep till morning when I see a car coming and flash my lights. He was going the wrong way on a one-way... I felt really lucky. He had a flashlight. Helped me push my car, which didn't work at all, then he pulled his truck up behind mine and pushed it out using his own vehicle.




I seem to find myself regaining faith in humanity little by little. Complete strangers to me and me to them, helped me and my friend out, in our time. They didn't ask for anything in return but if I knew how to get it to them... they'd get a great big thank you for everything.

Another little update... I'm more then likely gonna be trading in my SUV soon for a Honda Helix Scooter... 70-80MPG so with only 20 bucks I'll be able to fill 'er up get 200+ miles and still have money left over which will make me sooo happy with gas prices being as they are now -.-;;

There have been a lot of various art challenges going around, but I thought it might be a fun idea to start one that may inject some creativity and new interest into the furry/anthro art community. Far too often, we see the community saturated with wolves, foxes, big cats, rabbits, and occasionally an equine. It's time for some variety! So I thought it would be an interesting challenge to not just push myself personally, but to see if the rest of the community would like to do the same. Therefore, I've created this list of animals that have seen not nearly enough love in the fandom. While some of these may be canines, felines, etc., I tried to pick a few that are relatively unseen in the furry community.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Draw each and every one of the animals on this list. There is no time limit. It doesn't have to be in order, it doesn't even have to be anthro/humanoid. It doesn't even really have to be fully colored, it can be a pencil sketch if you'd prefer. Just give them a try. Not only will you push yourself in the process, you will learn about more of the amazing and exciting animals this world has to offer! Feel free to post this in your journal or webpage to show your progress, share it with friends, or simply use for inspiration. Some of these WILL be difficult, but you can do it! I see lights from a car coming and I manage to pull off the road onto a sidewalk. After getting out I only see my tire as the damage thankfully. A couple pulls over and the husband gets out and offers to give me a hand which his wife takes their son to her sisters. I look in my car for a jack... I didn't find one or knew I had one since I never checked or knew my car that well since it's still sorta new to me.

Another pair pulls up, a man and his daughter I think... I donno she was white he was black so I donno and I know she was younger then me. He gets the jack outta his car and removes my flat, upon finding the spare we find my jack and thankfully we did as we needed it to fix my tire...

Anywho.. it made me happy that total strangers would help me out. I wish I had, had something to give them for their trouble. After an hour my spare was on and I was taking my other friend, who was in the car, home.

So now I don't like driving in rain... no matter how much is falling from that sky.. I also have issues with turning left now..

But yeah I was just shocked that they helped me out without being asked.. when I was having the worst moment in my life possibly right there people came and helped me out, it made me smile yet as I got back on the road I kept thinking about how the car could have flipped or hit the pole and I'd be on my way to the ER instead of home...

Hopefully I'll be getting a Tablet PC (with XP) sometime soon, but only time will tell and getting PS 6 on my desktop.

As soon as I finish the ports that people have asked for I'm gonna do a photography feature here in my journal so keep an eye out for that.

Gonna be working on my shading as well... I have prismacolor colored Pencil's why not actually try and use them then just coloring.

Also gonna be trying my hand with tattoos soon =3

Edit: I now have a lump on the bottom of my jaw near the neck base. The lump on my neck is a little bigger then when I first posted this. For all those wondering the lump is about 2 inches from my shoulder and between the middle and the back of my neck on my right side.

I've also found out I'm allergic to Wheat Bread... Seems I got a lot of issues going on with my health as of late.

If I still have the lumps by monday I'm making a doctors appointment.

Well got my new tattoo for those who don't look at my dA.

He was a good FFA member, nice to hang out with and an all around kind-hearted friend.

I can't believe his life was cut short, only 20 and still had a full life ahead of him. Going to collage and hanging with friends as much as he could. Yet he never forgot the best things in life and helped out anyway he could.

Yet, driving home late one night. Joe and Matt missed the turn and fell off the ledge into a river ditch, killing both Matt and Joe on pretty much impact. The call went out and I was broken when I heard the news, I still havn't come to terms that they are both gone yet. Then again there is so much I still need to come in terms with.

I hope they are having fun up there.

Firefighters are male, female, young, old, paid, volunteer but no matter what they are each firefighter is a brother to one another, one family that weeps when any are lost. The S.C Nine died saving two lives, two lives that will be able to go on and home living another day. They died doing what they love. Knowing the risks and lived and took them to the end, they died not as firefighters, not as brothers, not as family but they died as Heros to their department and to the American nation.


Time and time again a nation loses a hero, be it in a fire, car chrash, overseas, or just natrual.
