Isn't that an adorable costume and so easy to make? I might add crab claws just so it's more obvious who I am I think I have a pattern for a Hong-Kong dress like that, too, which would be nice.

And I wanna dress up! Cuz I love dressing up But, since I haven't seen many anime, I don't really know who to go as... so I made a list (with the help of my friend Ashley, who was one of the people who persuaded me to go) of possible cosplay ideas. Help me choose one!

Cosplay Ideas:
*Belle from Beauty and the Beast: I have brown hair, and I love Disney, but I'd want to wear her regular blue and white dress and not her yellow dress because that would be too fancy for me, haha!
*American McGee's Alice: I have this costume from Halloween awhile ago, so it would be really easy to do. And it's a video game, so it's nerdy! I'll probably end up doing this if I can't think of anything better.
*Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service: This would be really simple, and I really like the movie, so yeah... but my hair is getting kinda long for it now...
*Chihiro from Spirited Away: I'd somehow need to make that pink bath-house outfit she wears... and my hair is too long, I think, but yeah.
*Ling Xiayou from Tekken: I always play as Ling! But her outfits are really complicated, so I'd have to start making it like, now. But... it would be adorable! Doug says I should wear her crazy fuzzy outfit XD
*Julia Chang from Tekken: Just thought of another easy fun Tekken outfit...
*Yuffie from FFVII: Well, I would need a wig and her outfit is complicated, but it would be super nerdy and awesome.
*Osaka from Azumanga Daioh: Since this is basically an anime convention, I tried to think of people from anime I've seen, but the problem is I haven't seen much anime! However, Osaka is an awesome character and I could pull it off really well, I think. Just need her pink uniform...
*Cheergirls from Ouendan: I'd need two other people to go in on this costume with me, but I think it'd be super fun to be the cheergirls from Ouendan! I'd be the one with pink pigtails.

Any other suggestions?

At this point, I'm probably going to go as Osaka or Alice. I think Osaka would make the most sense for Kumoricon, although it would be nice if someone else would dress up as another character with me, because it might be hard to tell who I am without a Chiyo or something, haha! But where am I going to find a 10-year-old willing to dress up? XD If only my cousin Lisa were here, I bet she'd do it in a second! And she's like 11 or something...

But people kept telling me the first one was good, so I borrowed it from my friend around Christmas and only just now started playing it the other day, and it is just as tedious as the second one. I dunno, maybe I'm too old for it now or something, but I really don't like it... the dialogue is so corny, and it's like... way too serious! I mean, how am I supposed to take the main character seriously when his feet are bigger than his head? Ugh. Anyway, so I haven't gotten very far or anything, but I don't think I'm going to be playing it anymore because it's just so boring. Again, the only thing you really do is walk around and hit the x button a bunch of times, there's no strategy or anything... I don't understand why so many people like the game o.O

And lastly - the graphics? Oy vey! It's a PS2 game, and the gummi ship looks like it's from the N64... x__x At least the characters are pretty cute, although Sora looks like a girl (well, it IS a Japanese game) ... and he's constantly falling in slow motion. How "mysterious" (lame)

In OTHER news, the game Patapon for PSP is AWEsome! Lots of fun, although it's a rhythm game, so after awhile of playing it I start doing everything in real life to a beat! XD

It was really gross and soft and flavorless. I regretted eating it. However, recently I've been eating a lot of meat, which I don't normally do. Cornish game hen, pork loins, teriyaki burgers... we bought some delicious teriyaki burgers from CostCo that are SOOO good! And right now I'm making Totino's Pizza roll thingies in the toaster oven... oh, our oven exploded, sort of. It's broken and the apartment people still haven't come to fix it... so we've just been using our toaster oven (thank goodness we have that or else we'd starve!) and I actually like it a lot better than the oven. I mean, it cooks things a lot more quickly, cuz it's not like we're gonna be cooking a whole turkey or something. And two Cornish game hens fit in there! And a whole pizza fits in there, too... so, it's all good. I love food.

Commercialness:
I hate most commercials. However, there are a few commercials that I really like, mostly because of the music. One is the Outback Steakhouse commercials, I love that little didjereedoo (sp?!) jingle "Let's go outback toniiight" ... also, there's a commercial that's hardly on, but it has a little dove with a plain background and I think it's for toothpaste. And I really like the music in that one, too!

Um, my pizza rolls are done, so maybe I'll ramble more later.
