First I will say that Zero will still be a regularly appearing in anything I do.

It took a lot of thought in making this decision but Zero is going to be the lead character of my story as anyone who has payed attention to me knows, and I figured it would be best to make him his own person and no longer be confined to the restraints of being part of me.

Not only that but it would be strange if my story/comic ever DID become popular and I was still using the character as my fursona.. Since its a common thing for people who are fans of stuff to use the names of their favorite characters as Email addresses and Screen Names... It would just get frustrating...

I'm not saying particularly that I expect the character, story, or comic to become popular... but in the off chance it does.. Well ya know..

So this is why I Created Xei.. It took me awhile of brainstorming and thinking about it every constant minute to create this character.. and he's still not fully developed, but I like him.

A Fursona to me is much more than just a character... my fursona, IS ME.. Its a way I can express things about myself that I can't quite express with my actual self. So it was a really hard decision for me to go through with this. It literally was like taking a part of my soul and replacing it with a new piece..

So there you have it.. For anyone who is interested in knowing why I've done this, There is your explanation.. I hope to have Xei further developed soon, Including figuring out a last name. And I hope to never need to go through the process of switching again.

It's simply this. After all these years I have yet to become comfortable with doing the line-art in preperation of coloring..
I've looked up many tutorials and have tried different techniques, but for some reason I still haven't become comfortable with it.

Most of my energy when trying to color goes into trying to do the line-art. I also start to lack patience halfway through doing so, or coloring.

I know I have the skills to do a far better coloring job than I have done recently, but with my lack of time to actually sit down and concentrate on it like I want to I am far more likely to just rush everything.

I have been working on a new drawing though. I already re-lined the artwork in Open Canvas so I'm kind of going to have to color it in that now, but i'm going to try not to rush this one and see how well I can get it to come out.

That I've been drawing more again!

I've been taking extra time out of my day to try and draw more.. I've also been fleshing out the story and Ideas for my Comic "Fallen Folf"

Work has been hectic and stressful, and I've found stress relief in drawing again.

I'm glad I'm able to use that to get out my emotions and frustrations again.

Honestly the stuff I draw in my sketchbook is better than the stuff I do with my tablet, so maybe I'll start scanning more of that in order to post it.

I do plan to get a new Tablet in the comming months so hopefully I will get one that will feel a bit more comfortable.

Anyway! Hopefully I can build back up my fanbase and make some new friends now that I'm drawing again!

I'm pretty sure everyone's stopped paying attention by now!

But for anyone who does still pay attention, I've gained a bit of motivation back.
I've been sketching a lot lately, and it feels good to be doing something.. But from lack of a good program for coloring (I hate coloring in Open Canvas) I haven't bothered to finish any of them..

I was using SAI but my trial expired and I have other things that I need to spend money on atm..

But anyway, I plan to do some fanart sketches soon, to try and keep my drawing motivation growing.

Well I got a job at another gamestop like.. Right on the spot actually.. so thats good..

best thing is its a higher position than I previously had. I'll be making more money and working more hours.. AND I'll be a key holder...

I'm really excited about this.. so now I can save some money and get a car.. and once I get a car I can work on getting college figured out...

I think its that time of year where depression takes hold of most everyone though...

quite a few people I know have been suffering with it lately including myself.. I dunno.. but hopefully it goes away soon..

Well.. It's been a crazy week..

Broke things off with my mate..

and have been dealing with the wake that's come from that...

It's allowed me to tie up some ends with some friends, and I'm slowly becoming myself again....

I've been able to pick up my Guitar more often and get practice with that..

And I've started drawing more frequently again..

I felt I really needed an Update, So here goes.

First off, I'm still learning to use my tablet to my best ability.
I really like it alot, it feels so much better than my old one and it feels like I'm never without a way to draw and upload when I actually do get the urge.

I still need more practice though, which is obvious from my recent entries.

I would like to OC with more people, but I never seem to have many options. If anyone ever wants to OC with me, drop me a line on Aim or something.. I just can't host sadly.

Other than that my time's been taken up by my Xbox 360, my job, and my mate.

I just got a small promotion at the gamestop I work at, so that makes me pretty happy.

I've also been thinking more seriously on getting my comic started..

I started working on the storyline a bit and already it needs a huge revision... I'm only on the first chapter.. I'm extremely picky.

I also need to update my trade/commission info.. prices are all the same cheap-o stuff.. But it needs alot of rewording. It's just been awhile since I messed with it..

So I finally got a 360 and along with that Gears of War

my boss and I played some Co-Op over live which was alot of fun.. But for some reason He wasn't comming in clearly through my headset.

Anyway I'm really glad I finally got one, so now theres only one person left at work who doesn't have a 360..

Bwahaha.

Also another good reason about having one is I'm not left in the dark about 360 games while working..

One other thing.. I played The first section of Gears not in High Def... Then I did it in High Def... and the difference was AMAZING..

Well.. To be honest.. addiction.. laziness.. and lack of inspiration really..
I have done a little sketches here and there, but thats it..

See.. I bought Warcraft 3 awhile back.. and played it for maybe a week.. and then that free 14 day World of Warcraft trial was staring at me like, "Come on.. Free... 14 days... Give me a try.."

so.. I did...

Needless to say... LESS than 14 days later.. I'd say.. 5..6 maybe... I owned and had a full subscription to World of Warcraft...

So thats all fun and addictive and chuck full of amazement...

but yesterday.. something else came into my possession... a Wii... and today.. Zelda Twilight Princess came along as well.. so.. between WoW.. Zelda... and Work... Drawing just hasn't hit me as a must do lately...

Now I HAVE to start pushing myself towards it again soon.. because I HAVE to really press myself into getting better so I can do comics some day...

Thats my major goal with my artwork..

So.. Wish me luck.. Inspire me.... edge me on.. and we'll see what happens.

Agh, Ok so I don't update this alot.. It could be because of the little bit of response I get from anything.. or just the fact that I'm lazy..

I've been busy the last few days which is why theres no recent uploads or drawings, I've been making some gas money by helping someone with their comp.. I'll get to drawing soon.

I downloaded Flash again and have i've forgotten just about everything that I used to know with it..

I'll have to make the time to toy around with it more so I can TRY and make some cool stuff..

I see some people make some descent stuff and say it only took an hour, yet last time my friends and I sat down to make something it took atleast 30 hours, so I know theres gotta be some faster methods..

Art has been comming slow! I know! I'm sorry!

I'm working on coloring the Snip drawing.. I just have to outline the stairs and then color it.. Shouldn't be too hard to do.. but I've just been kinda caught up.. I've actually been having somewhat of a life..

My mate has moved in and I have someone to kinda hang out with during the day.. I've also been caught up playing some games lately.. Resident Evil 4, Megaman X Command Mission.. and I FINALLY got a hold to Star Wars: KOTOR and Halo 2.

I do want to get some more drawings done though.. Maybe a bit of Fanart or something.. I have the urge to draw some of my characters as Reploids.. haha..

I also kinda wanna do some surprise gifts for people... I'll start concentrating on artwork again soon.. <3<3

Alright so a list of updates!

First up.. I wanna mention my brother who recently got in contact with me. I used to talk to him on the phone when I was much younger but I've never really met him in person. Eitherway, it's been good to hear from him again and come to find out he's here on Deviantart. Check it out if you get a chance, he's got some rather cool stuff goin on ;3

Second I'm gonna mention again that my birthday is Friday, November 4th. I've been mentioning that alot lately.. lol.. not that I expect people to draw anything for me, but, I'll be 20 and I'll no longer be a teenager.. which means I have no more excuses ever to chalk things up to teenage angst. ;O

third I'll talk about my progress in art. My sketches have been slowing, I've been in kind of a block but I am working on things. I just don't want to post anything that I don't feel is good enough or interesting enough. I have one thing I'm drawing right now but I don't know if I'll put it in my gallery, maybe I'll shove it there and if I start to hate it I can move it to scraps. That is if I finish it at all.. and also.. Art trades anyone?

Fourth I'll talk about games a little bit. I rented We Love Katamari this week and it's just one of those games that have an amazing sequel. WLK is great, amazing, just wonderful. It reminds me once again why rolling things into a ball can be so much fun, and then makes me love it even more. Also.. I bought Resident Evil 4 yesterday for PS2. So far, I love it. I've only gotten through chapter one which I'm replaying because I figured I could do better.

Anyway.. I guess thats it for this update.

I like that lately I've been feeling as if I can do so much more than I used to with my drawings.. I DO still need to put more effort into things.. but overall.. I'm happy with how well I've been improving..

I decided that I should constantly keep some art project going..
Whether its coloring something.. or working on a specific drawing...

Its the only way things will progress with my art...

So.. yeah.. Seems I may beable to draw again.
I think I may start taking Trades again as soon as I get a new art pad.
I will prolly only take 2 at a time though.

I really need to improve and I think doing trades again will help.

As I said.. I think I'm better now.. thanks to the one or two people who asked me to get better =O

Anyway.. I was thinking that maybe I should like.. wait awhile till I post anything.. I'm not sure... I was thinking maybe it would be good if I developed my skills a little before I posted anything.. unless I draw something I really like..
