Birthday and new Rig

Well my birthdays tomorrow and like I said before I'm getting a new rig for it

The computer I have right now has somewhat okay specs, but it's not handling any of the games I play or plan on playing so I'm getting one with the specs below. Anyway I've also hit my 3 years on deviantart, but I haven't been to active lately. New Rig Soon

Okay so basically I'm getting a new system for Christmas but my budget is no more than $600 that is all my dad is willing to pay for it. Basically I wanted to build my own system first but with the specs I wanted it had added up to $579 not including a video card and the card I was aiming for is around $110 so that will not work for me. I've been looking around and my dad found this [link] I'm planning to upgrade the HD4650 that's in that to a 4850 or a 9800gtx+ and a new psu obviously after Christmas if GTA IV runs poorly on the 4650 or around the same as I am right now. I'm running GTA IV in an online mode with a friend right now with medium-high settings and am getting 20-26 fps on this Geforce 9400gt but it looks pretty bad right now. So I need peoples opinions on that system is it really worth the money for it money seeing how I cant spend over $600 if I could I would love to build my own system with equivalent specs

I have also decided to stop doing graphic design all together and focus on my photography and more hardware/OS related things. I just lost interest in the graphic design and decided to not pursue it any longer. I still will be taking a class that involves using illustrator and another that is webpage design and coding/managing the page, but I won't be doing any other work in photoshop unless it's needed for something I'm working on with a VS and what not or editing photos. I'm just glad I realized it wasn't what I wanted and wasn't a good idea to continue it now rather than to find out after college how hard it really was to make it out there as a designer.

On Another note I just started playing Warhammer Online and its a pretty sweet game, now the problem is I need 30 bucks to buy the full game :d It's nothing like what WoW was to me and I can honestly say I'm perfectly happy playing a few hours a day, and than getting off. The only minor problem is that my graphics card is a bit outdated so the edges of things are jagged, and rough and the textures aren't up to the quality they should be.

On another note I failed my geometry regents by 2 points >.< but I passed the class by 11, what this means is even though I passed the class the state forces you to have to pass the regents in order to graduate or you wont get your diploma. They now force you to have to get a regents diploma instead of choosing to get a normal diploma which pretty much is no different besides not having the word regents on it

The states testing system is completely ridiculous and they don't get it yet why the drop out rate is so high here. So either I waste my summer sitting in a school with no AC and getting up early every day to go there for an hour an a half to just do nothing but go over the test and do practice tests to retake the exam in august which summer school has no effect on helping me when i already passed the class yet if I didn't mess up on one question I knew I did I would've passed the regents, or retake the class next year and take the exam again next June. It really pisses me off that I passed the class with a 71 yet I only failed the regents by 2 points, pretty much one question if I hadn't got wrong screwed me and I have to go through all this crap, it ruins my day knowing this. Anyway Transformers 2 was amazing end of story and Megan Fox was hot.

Wireless works it allowed me to connect right in the installer

and it shows the airport icon in the menubar, bluetooth is enabled and the only thing left is to fix the mouse artifacts with a proper driver. Hope to have some shots up soon

I no longer have the boot0 error but my installs keep hanging at the bios right after I reboot when the install is finished, and when I go to boot into the os with the -v flag every install has hung at MAC Framework successfully initialized using 5242 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers

Finals are coming up really soon, only 3 weeks until them and I need to start studying for Chemistry and Geometry mainly

I have just mostly gotten frustrated with Photoshop due to a project for my first class of the day that I have changed my idea several times because I've been unhappy with the results.

I really don't have the motivation to work on anything new and I have gone out of ideas of what to work on.

Stress is getting to an extreme point, where I'm about to snap one day its the end of the year I'm tired and I just don't want to give an effort these days

Relax relax relax that's all I want to do, I've been getting lazy and not submitting anything but I'm tired, and need a rest from all this photoshop.

The good news is summer is only a few weeks ago and it means I'll be able to get out and do something for a change, or sit my lazy self here and get back into my old favorite forum that I miss these days.

I clearly can see the water mark by *mpk on 3 of these, and know the Original [link] is from ~nuaHs and *mpk

Seriously, this guy did a horrible job at trying to steal. He downloaded the original packs, and uploaded the 1600x1200 formats. The watermark is clearly visible on most of these, and I am friends with *mpk so I know that this ~bobytm isn't him

Update: I have contacted deviantart and so have a few other people and no action has been taken, these clear rips have been send in with obvious proof along with policy violation reports and there hasn't been a word or any action from the admins. It's been over 3 days since these have been reported

More Updates: All but one of these pieces have been finally taken care of. I have been sick the past two days so I haven't been able to check up but DA has taken action in removing most of these pieces. I would really like ~bobytm to be banned for ripping all these pieces and it's unacceptable in my opinion

Final Update: Everything has been taken care of, I re-reported the last one that had not been removed yet and received a notice it was taken care of less than a day later. Thank you to all that helped with reports and for contacting the help desk.

Well now in recent OSx86 installs, and only 1 release ahead of the version I had now includes drivers for it. I Miss OS X and everything about it, especially customization and all the apps. I really wish I had a mac but won't be able to afford one before college in a little under 3 years.

I was just going through my gallery and looking through all my old deviations and I saw how much I really have progressed. Looking at my old ID's, at the very first wallpapers and AIM skins I did even looking at myself in pictures I see how much I've really changed. From the early days of skinning to knowing so much about computers and hardware, I stop and think of how things can change so much in just two years. My art has gotten better photography and digital wise but my traditional art days are over. This is my last year of taking a traditional media art class in school for a few reasons. For one I just don't have the room in my schedule anymore for it since I'm taking two other classes to help me further with graphic design one of which I will be doing some work in illustrator on macs. My school actually spent money last summer buying a whole lab full of macs specifically for the art department and this class, the first I've seen the school spend money on something useful.

On another note I have about 200 dollars laying around and nothing to do with it, and since Circuit City is going out of business

I'm going out tomorrow to look at laptops or see if I can get another computer for a cheap price since I need vista to continue making new visual styles and an actually stable computer to work on vista with, and I just need two computers in general

Changes to the Mature Deviation filter. I would like to see a simple change, adding two separate categories one for explicit, containing nude images, One for Language and another for horror/macabre deviations.

I have no problem and neither does my family with me viewing horror/macabre or explicit language deviations, but those containing nude pictures I would like to block out only those deviations, as would many other people. It's quite embarrassing when I'm browsing DeviantArt and my family makes comment's on that's inappropriate and other things, but I am mature enough to handle it, my parent's don't approve of me seeing it

Drama..well It seem's I'm always stuck in the middle of the drama circles and frankly I'm sick of it

the past three people I've meet have had family problems, and I had to help them through it. I started getting out of my depression last year when I met some amazing friends, the same for them and now when I'm nearly always in a good mood, and I'm rarely upset it's getting to me, the drama is stressing me out, and getting me depressed hearing about it. I wish I didn't have to be the one who had to deal with the drama, I don't mind helping them but the ranting and arguing over it is getting to me. Through talking people out of suicide and trying to make them feel useful it's getting to me. I just need to get away from the drama, which is why I am looking forward to school on that aspect. alright enough of this rant I won't bore you guys

Unfortunately the new one had to be setup with a WPA-SPK key now my desktop and laptop's wireless adapters don't support WPA keys of any kind, only WEP. I have to buy two new adapters, which means most of my projects that require XP (such as the Safari mods, updated AIM themes etc.) will be delayed. The desktop is on a WLAN connection and I can only connect on one computer. I should have new adapters by this weekend. Sorry everyone, I wasn't expecting the new modem to be like this

Now with no projects to work on, I am extremely bored

I am working on trying to find the wireless card from my dads broken Dell Latitude D600 to see if it supports WPA keys

I only have a few projects to work on that don't require XP and internet.

1) Website Design, Basic layout (Waiting for the laptop to make it flash, and code it)
2)Find a good free host for my website (I can't afford even $9 a month, since I pay for my own cell, concerts etc.)

I started playing World Of Warcraft with the 10 day trial in early January, and Just stopped Today. It started as a few hours after school I would play and level up with my brother, gradually it became from the time I woke until I went to bed and it was my life, I did nothing else. I had stopped getting on AIM and Myspace because I was too busy with WoW, It had turned into my life I just had to get a 70. My parents eventually limited me to taking breaks every few hours, but I eventually ignored that and started playing 12 hours a day with breaks for lunch and dinner. When I had gotten to level 55 me and my brother were getting frustrated at not being able to kill a boss, he screamed at the computer and I got told to get off. I chose not to and said I have to get out and hearthstone back, I can't just stop here. That was when I was limited to 2 hours on weekdays and 4 on weekends, that eventually got ignored also. Things got progressively worse until about a month ago. It was when I went to a party and met some amazing new friends. I gradually started playing less after seeing my guild leader and good friend had stopped playing for a month, when he came back we mad a new guild and he now is only on a few times a week for about an hour if that. I started only doing a few quests, stopped and did maybe 4 battlegrounds for a few hours. Today I had my subscription cancelled, I realized a few weeks ago what it had done and how I didn't have a social life outside of it barely. I could have gotten a girlfriend before I started WoW but chose WoW over it. I don't regret cancelling my subscription one bit, my friends are more important than a stupid game. There are 3 people I know who have also been affected by the game. One was my cousins ex boyfriend of 7 months, they were deep in love and he had quit WoW for her, he started playing it and lying, using her and WoW as to blame. No time for the Girl or anything but WoW.There's more after this, but if you wish to know IM me via AIM MxxCxxRxxNick, it is personal and we don't like to talk about it. Next is a friend I had from school, he was nice to me and everyone at the lunch table and one day wile giving out a dollar I saw he had a WoW gamecard. He said he used to play but stopped for 4 months since he needed a break, he later had 4 70's restored and got two more restored from his old account. Eventually after starting playing he got into more fights, and people started hating him. A few weeks ago he lost it all he told one of our friends Josh people like him make me want to bring in a gun and shoot everyone, he was soon after in a lot of trouble and is expelled. He had a mom who used to abuse him, but started taking medication last year. Finally my brother is affected by this game. He got me addicted to it, He needed me to help him with quests, show him where to go and do instances with him. I had stopped wanting to play a month ago but he made me get on and quest. Recently he started getting violent with the game, throwing the mouse yelling at the game and saying rude words at it. He is addicted to the game badly, it has turned him into a complete a**hole. when he cancelled my subscription he was getting mad because I ruined wow for him, he doesn't know where to go in quests or how to take on a beast 1v1, I did all the fighting he just sat there and clicked one spell the whole time. He got mad at me a few hours ago about it. He used to be a cool person, nice to me we talked about random things, listened to music and watched tv together. Now his whole day is sleep, eat and play WoW. It's horrible what and addiction this game is. He doesn't feel like doing anything around the house and when my dad asks him to mow the grass he gets all ticked off and has an angry tone in his voice.

Bottom line is WoW is an addiction, whether you make it yourself, or someone else does. If you want to start playing the game that's okay, but please don't give up things in you're life because of it. Don't make it an addiction, go out and do something with your life before it's too late. I have luckily quit before things got horrible in my life, but it has still torn me apart mentally and my relationships have suffered because of it. This is my story of how World Of Warcraft ruined my life, If you have a similar experience please share yours. When World Of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King comes out I might start playing casually, but will not play for 12 hours of my day straight. My life has been shredded and torn apart because of a World of Warcraft addiction, but I was able to repair my relationships before things were unrepairable.(This took me over an hour to type, I appreciate you reading)

Two days ago Windows Vista was working great I went to boot into xp and Got this Error

Windows Could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.
Could notread from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware. Please check Windows Documentation about hardware disk configuration and your reference manuals for addition information.

Now Vista booted fine and was up and running fine. I re installed xp later that day and it worked perfectly fine. All day yesterday it ran fine without a problem in xp. The problem started when The Sims 2 started lagging like crazy on me. It would eventually bounce back up to the normal fps and was fine until I let it go idle. Now this morning I was browsing the web and I heard a clicking noice that was really loud. It didn't die when I muted the speakers so I knew it wasnt good. I started the Sims 2 and it started studdering the sound and hung on the black screen for three minutes. It eventually got to the loading screen and starting studdering the sound and didn't load after 15 mintues and the sound was horrid. I shut off the computer after those 15 minutes manually by holding the start button since windows locked up. Now the problem Starts.

I went to start up xp again and it never got to the login screen it flashed and went back to the os selection menu which had two xp's One the new and one the Old that wouldn't boot. Eventually I started the computer up again and it flashed a blue screen of death with a horrible boosh noice and went back to the selection menu. It repeated these things and I went about re installing xp.

The first time I tried to install xp it gave me another BSOD. So I went about restarting the installation it worked and eventually poped up with errors Like Please incert the xp cd labeled windows xp service pack 2. It restarted the xp installation once again and it went all slow and when it eventually got to six minutes after two hours it got another blue screen of death. Now It hung for ten minutes on the xp install and I just said forget it. So I restarted the computer and it took forever to load through the bios so I knew it was hardware related. I had just talked to my good friend jorje and he said that my motherboard went, its gone and to salvage any useable parts from the laptop. Theres the story..I am know asking my dad for his latitude d600 that has broken screen hinges and the powersupply doesn't work with it. It's a laptop and I need one to continue designing things since I want to keep this new computer clean since Norton Antivirus has sadly has been installed on here and slows it down.. I knew I should have saved my money and bought a new laptop. I only have $233 and Would have had $323 if I didn't buy the apple keyboard and mouse and could have bought a new laptop sooner. I probably will now get a macbook since I'm in need of a laptop and Don't want to go through all this windows crap again.

Well after probably about 4 to 6 months of quitting The Sims 2 I am back to playing it. I had just lost interest in the game since none of the objects I downloaded were updated. I'm mad that I have to download every single expansion pack and stuff pack from EA again since I lost the files when I had to erase my xp partition. And none of them are finished yet :[ After That I have to spend a while installing every expansion and stuff pack again lol..I got a busy day ahead of me

I just got my my schmexy Apple Aluminum Keyboard and Mighty mouse for my new desktop I got for xmas since its keyboard and mouse are horrible. I Love This keyboard and mouse so much their a lot easier to type and browse with.
