There Are Still Amazing People Out There...

Okay, if you're wondering, *Fatalsoul bought me a subscription. I'm so thankful. =] I'll be featuring him down in my features. Go look at it, he's only 16 and he really deserves your support, his stuff is really good.

In other... news?.. I've been so lazy lately, it's getting bad.

School is alright, I have really hard classes like Pre Calc and Physics, and really easy classes like Yearbook and Band... so it evens itself out pretty well.
I'm hopefully going to be holding some photoshoots this weekend, probably some within the next few weeks.
Also, I'm trying to clean out my "To Edit" folder, because seriously it has over 300 photos in it. I really like all of them though and can see possible potential behind all of them, so I do'nt want to just delete them.. I'll hopefully find some time and inspiration and upload a bunch of them. =]
Hmmm. I'm trying to think of more to say, but I really can't..... Ehhh.
Oh well.

June is Over.

Hello!
So, this past weekened was the long and hard 7 Deadly Sins Photoshoot Weekend. Saturday, Nicole came over along with Jared, my creative director, and Leslie, my fashion director. She modeled for Wrath. Sunday, Britt and Leslie modeled for Greed and Lust. Monday was the busy day. We had Sarah, Alexa, Kristine, and Gluttony. (Sarah did Envy, Alexa did pride, Kristine did Sloth, and Gluttony was everyone that happened to be there that day- a group one.)
So yeah, now comes the hard part- editing all of them. A total of over 1,000 pictures were taken this weekend! I've picked the best one (of my opinion, and sometime's Jared's opinion) and am doing that one first.
On a different note, I finally finsihed all of my driving times!
I take the road test July 24th, wish me luck! (I'm going to need it- no one I know (except my sister) passed it on the first try!)

This month is pretty much slow.. I think I'll probably start working for Chris again the end of this month- selling overly priced organic produce is always fun.

Its good money though.

Hmm, expect a lot of uploading in the next few weeks- with so many pictures in my "to edit" folder... and my inspired mood, there's going to be a lot.

OHH! HOw could I forget: I'm only a few pageviews away from 5,000! I'm excited.

Plans Change and Go Forth...

Hello everyone. Time for an update. Marching band is over, thank goodness.
I had Mindy's photoshoot yesterday, that went well. I have seriously a billion bug bites- its driving me insane. As long as I do'nt pay attention to.. my whole body, they don't itch.

We got quite a few good photos from that shoot though, I think it went well. Plus, I got paid for it! haha.
The 7 Deadly Sins photoshoot is rapidly approaching- I'm not sure I'm ready yet! There's still so much to get ready for, so many things to get, and its in 4 days!
I'm going to be working with some really pretty girls though, so it shouldn't turn out that bad!
And then, hopefully next week sometime, maybe the weekend after this, my friend Kristine (~kristineslife101) and myself are having a photoshoot. Photoshoots with Kristine are always fun- and -always- have amazing results! ^_^

Weeks Ahead!

Hey everybody, just a quick update before I head to the shower and the nto bed.
I have a really super busy week ahead of me, I have something to do -all- day every day until next Tuesday. Monday-Friday I have to wake up at 5:00 am, and get myself ready for marching band. My band director is slightly insane, so he decided this year we'd have marching band practice at 6:30 in the morning until 9:00. I mean, I could see that if we were a marching band- but we're not. We're a concert band that happens to march in a parade because no one else will do it, and it looks good on resumes. Haha. Umm, and then my friend Shelby and I are hanging out until my mom goes home from work.. which requires a lot of walking around town.

Then, Tuesday after marching band, I have a driving time, my third one out of six before I can try for my licence. (horray!). Wednesday I'll probably just hang out with Shelby again after band, and Thursday and Friday after bad I'm going to the carnival that happens to be in town this week. (Which is the reason for our parade.. not the actual carnival.. but the main event, which brings the carnival to town

). SaturdayI am doing a 7 Deadly Sins Photoshoot.
Speaking of which, any ideas? I pretty much have everything set for that, and I know, I know, its cliche and all that jazz to do something with the 7 Deadly Sins, but I want to try it out- I mean what better way to get my photo skillz out there than to ask 7 or 8 people to model for me?

Sunday I have the parade. That pretty much sucks. We have to wear the most disgusting uniforms known to man, that are 40 times too small and barley fit, and smell like body odor and dougnuts.
Monday, I have another driving time, and I'm also having a photoshoot with Mindy Young, the model I've used before. This time I'm getting paid for it supposedly- so horray- my first paid photoshoot! I'm excited.
Next Wednesday I have yet another driving time, and Saturday the 28th is the second day of the 7 Deadly Sins Photoshoot. I need to have more than one day for it because not everyone can make it on one day, and since there are a lot of people, I'm assuming its going to take a very long time- usually one person takes me about 2 or 3 hours...
Monday the 30th, the last day of June is the third and final day of the 7 Deadly Sins Photoshoot. Hopefully by then everyone will have been able to show up for their specific sin and everything will be good.
And that's my busy month of June. Haha.
Oh, and also, I'm doing a little photo contest my library is holding. Its extreemely juvinile but hey, it will get two pieces of my work in their four walls and on their website. And maybe someone will notice it, and like it! The theme is "Catch a Bug Reading". Pretty lame, hm? I'm just submitting two of my photos that happen to have insects in them- because reguardless if I win or not they'll still display them. Heh.

Edit:
Okay, so this Saturday was supposed to be the first day of the 7 Deadly Sins Photoshoot. Well, my "creative director" who is basically my assistant/model when I need him/and idea giver, told me that he's been telling everyone that the first one wasn't until next week. (I put him in charge of getting everyone together.) Soo I guess I'm not starting this Saturday, but the next!

Oh well, this weekend is a busy weekend for my town.

Summer Vacation Is Here!

It's the moment you've all been waiting for, Summer Vacation! There's just something about that last bell ringing, everyone yelling, and running down the hallway like they've all just won the lottery, that really gets you more excited than anything else.
This past school year, has been absolutely amazing.
My friend Shelby discovered (with my help

) that she wants to be a movie director/ script writer, and honestly she is amazing. I found out that trying to lie to yourself isn't going to get you anywhere, because deep down inside you know the truth anyway. I went through challenges, easy spots, loss, love, sadness, and happiness. It was an amazing year.

Mindy, one of the girls I've worked with told me that she's seen someone on some site, one of my pictures, that they were calling their own. She, however did not get their url or whatever, so I couldn't check it out. She also said that the person who was doing it said that my pictures are all over deviantart by people that aren't me... and if anyone happens to see anything about it.. let me know, please.

I was really mad.. especially sine Mindy didn't seem like anything was wrong. Those are -my- pictures and I worked hard on them!

Anyway, on a brighter note... since it is summer now, and I have no job (that needs to change..) I'm pretty much stuck at home with nothing to do as of late, so I will probably be uploading quite a few photos! (horray!)
Alright, well I think I'm going to go clean... or something. =]

End of Sophomore Year!

I have 8 days of school left. 8 days left of my sophomore year in high school! I'm excited. lol I've been so stressed out lately due to the excessive amount of homework my teachers are piling on me to get us all ready for finals... and its not over yet, the finals are still to come! hah.
My senior friends have graduated, I'm going to miss them all so much.

Its spring, though, and that means that I've been able to go outside without freezing to death. That alone inspires me to take pictures of everything I come across, let alone the greens outside right now are absolutely amazingggg. And, on top of all of that, the flowers are starting to come up, and after being deprived of color all winter long, even the ugliest flowers are absolutely gorgeous. I think that's why there are seasons, so we appreciate each one more!

I have a question. And I hope someone can help me out!
You see, my brother messed with the contrast on my monitor, and it made me realize... I have no clue what it should be set at. I know pretty much everyone's is different to some extent, but for my photos, what's a good setting for brightness/contrast to have? I'm scared my pictures will look good on my monitor, but in reality, not look so hot. If anyone has an idea, just leave a comment- I'd really appreciate it!

My mom told me a "joke" the other day, and I really like it. I didn't really think it was very funny, but more... ironic? Idk. lol. Just read it!
