Random update for stuff.

That Inquisitor pic took alot out of me considering it was the most longest worked on piece ever.

I'm at that point right now where i'm inspired but i don't have as much time as i can to update here because i'm dedicating my fridays working on my animation reel, then the other work i'm doing at college.

I had some financial issues with the college but I believe the matter is resolved.

- CAPSTONE -

i'm in the 15th week or so of my CAPSTONE course, halfway there and I dunno if I'll get it done at all, but I WILL finish it even if I graduate. Then I'll work on my postponed reel. the original one that is more suited to the high school havoc fanbase. hmmm, I dont think i've mentioned it here, but i had to postpone my original capstone idea and START OVER with a different concept that would make more sense to people who dont follow high school havoc. I somewhat caught up to where i'm usually supposed to be and i put my original idea on hold, but once i finish with this new animation, i am going back to the old idea, the reel with the character voices and all that. THREE high school havoc animations will be done in about two years.

- OTHER WORK -

My time is limited because I've also been working on another animation for another class. i have an illustration course and for our first project, we had to make an Einstein animation with Einstein and an assistant in some shape or form relating with the theory of relativity. I've finished the animation but decided to add a little twist to the ending. that involves a certain annoying song and dance that people may know and hate.

I'm putting together the finishing touches for the second version of this einstein animation and will put it up soon.

Speaking of movies, I've finished up my anime Expo caramelldansen Mix for this year:

The problem was that I didn't get as many groups of people as I could and only got like 3 groups doing the caramelldansen, but at least its something.

- Anime -

been following up on some animes lately, like bleach, been checking out some funimation videos on youtube and saw some vic mignogna funimation panels. i gotta say that dude i wouldn't mind hanging out for a day. XD Him, Caitlin Glass, Laura Bailey etc. heh. So out of nowhere I decide to check out Ouran host club since CG and Vic voice it and I'm not afraid to admit that that show is fucking awesome! XD I could do without the shameless shojou fanservice with the twincest twins, but Tamaki is a friggin tool and he's hysterical!! Mahahahaha. Found another favorite anime.

- HIGH SCHOOL HAVOC -

I more or less decided on officially putting "Chapter 1" of high School Havoc to rest now with PAGE 11. I've already begun drawing up pages for the next 6 pages as the unofficial CHAPTER 2 that will involve the characters Sarah, Jenna, Martin, Amy, Grandpa taking in more of the story and of course even MORE outrageous costumes from Melanie. the first couple of pages are all planned out. I think I'm going to work on putting together the webcomic site up first on smackjeeves before working on Chapter 2. good thing to know is that HSH will be better and more funnier than ever.

AX09 PICS ON MY OTHER ACCOUNT

(I just realized that this was an edited journal and the notification didn't go out. ::head/wall:: )

As of this point, I've reached the home stretch. I've been working on my art seriously for the past four years. This reason for this journal is to look back on my webcomics and reflecting. I've been drawing for over 16 years and decided on majoring in animation for my degree, but as for a side hobby I've been writing and drawing up stories and webcomics and recently I've been told that in the business people will be looking for people who are talented in not just any one aspect like rigging, character designing, etc but be diverse in many fields. I consider myself a mere beginner in animation and getting more experience as I work with the animation program I'm using and learning to animate, but I'm proud that I have something else to fall back on practicing character design, working with personal deadlines for comic work, and using different techniques to better myself.

I did a thirty seven page chapter in a span of two weeks. And believe me when I say just doing 3 pages takes work. It takes about the whole day to do. And the more and more I write and make comic pages the more I'm beginning to see that I'm finally getting my stories across.

My COLLOSSO story was started on January in 2007, before that I've been doing concept art and preparing myself for it. This is one of the first designs of the COLLOSSO characters Nov 2005:

I'm pretty surprised at how far I've come along from the first pic and what's crazy is that I've never noticed me improving at all. I've just been subconsciously been getting better and better without realizing it and I'm one of those guys who always thinks I'm never going to get better, but now I'm beginning to see it come together and I'm happy.

Back to the comic, I'm reaching the end of COLLOSSO Volume/Book 6 and started the last chapter (11). Pretty good to say that from the first few pages I've come along as well:

GSG COLLOSSO ends on page 304 and then I would have finished a whole book. Probably the one reason why I'm reflecting is the fact that my art has come a long way but the sole reason to why I am proud is the fact that for this project: I have never given up on it and I'm proud to how its flourished. Seriously, I'm pretty surprised that I've been able to dedicate myself to one project and stick with it even when I considered quitting because no one bothered reading it, questioning my art whether it was good or not, or other things, but yet here I am, still talking about it after two years and 270 pages completed, AND I'M STILL LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING ON IT.

Not only that, I haven't mentioned the other webcomic I'm doing GSG AFTERMATH. And that one too I'm doing alongside COLLOSSO with the same amount of work, sweat, blood, and tears too. This post is just me getting the old journal out of the way and I've come to a decision regarding my to draw list.

Nothing much going on with me. After three years, I've canceled my LiveJournal. I figured its time already. I got facebook for my important updates.

I've just finished Chapter 9 of my AFTERMATH story, and will go right into CHAPTER 10 of COLLOSSO. I've just had an idea on how to make my comic page making run with less time than before so I could do more pages in a day. I think this idea would really help me out and I'm probably going to give it a shot, but first I would have to prepare first in order to carry this idea out, but it should be interesting. :3

I've completed Kingdom Hearts series, and went back into final Fantasy 10. Beat it, and right now just training the team to be strong enough to face Nemesis. And I also started Final Fantasy 7 again so you'll see some more art from that game since I'm playing it too right now.

In regards to my High School Havoc project, I only need 2 more actors to do voices and I'll have everything ready. I need someone to voice Andrea the Goth girl for two or so lines, and then I need to find someone to do the starting role of Melanie too. I can't wait forever and I need these voice tracks ASAP. But I've started on the animation.

Other than that I just want the summer to end and go back to school. I hate the work, but it keeps me busy.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!! >D

I mean that in the art and health sense. I think I can safely say that now I've fully recovered from the flu. God, I didn't even know there was a long layoff of feeling like shit after getting rid of the symptoms. T_T

I haven't had the flu in years, but right now I'm in the mood for art.

And with that comes my next point:

I'm also back in the sense of art and that means i'll submit stuff here again.
I feel rejuvenated and ready to work on stuff.
I even have a to-do list that I'll put up of upcoming projects that I'll do since I'm currently motivated.

In other news I got pissed the other day because my laptop decides to randomly die on me. I swear this thing is trying my patience. It was also in the middle of me doing some more comic pages which really pissed me off more, but i'll just finish those when my laptop will randomly decide to start up on its own which is like a week from now. >_>


I'm also near the End of Re Chain of Memories Sora's story. I finally beat that turd Vexen since he was just hard to beat always guarding my attacks. I just gotta beat Marluxia and then play Riku's story and I'll head straight to KH2 again.

This is to get that Ax journal off my page because I've had my fun now, but now it's time for business.

I didn't attend Day 4 because I got sick on Day 3 as mentioned. I was fighting a fever, dizziness, vertigo, all week. I missed the day to get some more pictures and more importantly, get film of people doing the caramelldansen, but from what I have as of now, I think I can make a video of what I have.

Around Monday and next week, I'm going to be working on putting together my Vlogs of Ax which is me awkwardly complaining about lines, shaky camera movement and very brief footage of the convention.

Along with the vlog, I have a small portion filmed of a BLEACH gathering which isn't much but I'll still put that up. Another video idea is the caramelldansen video I'm going to put together. I got some good footage of dancers and well as other footage of stuff to throw in there too. :3

Once I'm finally done with all things AX, its back to the way things were which is back to working on my animation reel. I just started now on the reel and its coming along well. I still need a few people's voice samples and I'll be completely done with voices.

For my art, I'm going to try to put up more stuff. For sure another page of HSH will be up around Tuesday, and the majority of the time will be me working on my character art section drawing up images for my COLLOSSO webpage. I'll try my best to add in some more HSH art on here and finish up a few more requests.

Well I'm back to work. :3

So onto Day three.

Back from Ax Day 3, and so far this day will be memorable....... not for the fact that its independence day, but more for what happened on this day.

I get to the convention and woke up partially losing my voice from the Whose Line Panel the night before but that was my fault. I had alot of fun. :3 Well as of right now, I feel like utter and total shit.

I head in and take pictures then head to the first panel which was How to Self Defend yourself as an Otaku which IMO was pretty boring so I left.

I instead went off to catch the screening to Final Fantasy Advent Children. I saw the end of it and I'm PISSED. This version of the movie, I assume was uncut. Cloud had scars, blood, and even more scenes I never even saw. I didn't even KNOW there was an uncut version of the movie which ticked me off. I did get a laugh at how everyone was cheering loudly where Cloud was kicking Sephiroth's ass. XD
I left and went off to the next panel which was Photoshop coloring.

The one memorable part about this day was that the person teaching us was showing us how Alpha channels work and it intrigued me to the point where I was going: "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T I LEARN THIS SOONER!?" She really got me interested in trying out these tricks and apply them to my own art. I was very moved even though I'm slow to pick this up sooner.

I believe I got sick from this event in particular. The air conditioning was friggin on high blast and I was freezing my ass off the entire time. It was very uncomfortable so now I'm fighting a fever.

After that event, I went off and decided to get lunch, the bus to take me to the chain of restaurants several blocks over was late so I had to endure again and spend out 9 bucks for two tacos. >_< the prices here are freaking crazy.

I didn't go to the Exhibit Hall or Artist Alleys because If I went there, I'd never leave. I only did a quick checkup to the power rangers booth and found who I was looking for. I found the Ex Pink Ranger Katherine Sutherland from Season 3 and got an autograph. After that, I got the hell out of there.

The highlight of the day was the Power Rangers Panel. I had to show up there because POwer Rangers IS the main influence and got me started on my art watching the show so it was all the more special. I did more filming this day than I have had any other day. The Power Ranger Panel had the actors:

The event was AMAZING! People lined up and asked everyone questions to "Can you say this as so-so" etc. I have filmed part of the panel and I'm positive that this event will be up on youtube as well, seeing as alot of press was at the panel. The best part was one person asked Barbara to say "I just lost the game" which is some kind of internet meme I guess. I'm slow, bear with me.

After the first hour, the "Heroes" left and the rest of the hour was dedicated to the villians. Daniel Southworth stayed behind and was BRILLIANT with wise cracks, one lines and very funny, even though I thought he came off as an asshole in the show but wasn't.

The panel finally ended so I killed time and got in some good scenes of people doing the Caramelldansen. I'm making my own Cd mix and edit that soon. I went back to the same hallway and room to see the next panel which was the Kari Wahlgren Interview. There weren't any lines thank God, so I'll cease from the constant bitching about the lines and spare you all.

Today's theme was uh, well more frightening. XD

Get to the convention center around 8 and had a full day planned.

I first went to the BANDAI INDUSTRY panel and they were showing several anime clips about when new DVD's and music would come out. They made an announcement that anime tracks would be available on Itunes and they showed several clips from Lucky Star (lmao, they showed the OST part where Konata turned Kagami into Miku Hatsune. XDD ) I left after and did some filming and cosplay hunting.

The Exhibit hall opened earlier and I went nuts again buying everything left and right. Once I got the willpower to leave, I went outside and caught a group of Bleach characters performing and taking pictures. It was a HUGE group too. Espada's, Arrancars, captains, everyone of the sort was there and I filmed part of the festivities there too. I went back inside and checked out the Funimation Panel where the moderator was showing us all sorts of clips from Fullmetal alchemist Brotherhood, and other animes from Funimation.

After that, I went out to eat and then came back to the exhibit Hall and hung out with for a few hours. We could NOT for the life of us veer away from most of the booths. Everything was just screaming "BUY ME!" "BUY ME!". It was SO freaking tempting. One of the painful things about this day was the fact that everywhere we went, we couldn't get away from YAOI AT ALL. I swear we kept running into like five booths that sold it. I have nothing against it, but you fangirls and your Yaoi. XD

The Artist Alley by the way was where I spent most of my Spending. I bought some prints, met up with 's booth, bought some more stuff, then swung by another old friend of mine's booth and got me convinced to maybe set up my own booth eventually and promote my crappy art too. the feeling is there and I really would like to do it too, but right now I don't consider myself ready at all. I'm still a con n00b. :3

At the Power Rangers booth, that kid from Power Rangers Turbo was there. Justin the blue ranger was older, completely different, and I never saw him after Turbo. The dude has changed. I also got autographs from Steven Cardenas (Rocky from Season 2) and Karan Ashley (Aisha from Season 2 as well)

I think Katherine Sutherland was there too. I'm hoping to see her on Day 3, but maybe.
After that, me and hung out for awhile more then parted, so I killed time for the next event I wanted to see, taking more pictures. One of the highlights of this day was the fact that a group of Cloud Cosplayers were gathered together and another guy was dressed as a friggin Cactuar with his OWN buster sword and was hanging out with the Cloud's. XD

A major lowlight of this day was the fact that there were ALOT of guys dressed up as female characters which scarred my retinas for life. I recently heard about Man-Faye. ::shudders:: But I saw a male Chun Li, a male Dark Magician girl and...... yeah. XD Seriously though, it was funny and a bit weird too. Those guys are brave. VERY brave. O_O

It was around eight when I finally went to the next panel which was the Whose Line Is It Anime. there were people up onstage improving various scenarios in their heads all based on anime and manga from suggestions from the audience, and holy hell, it was hysterical. XD
A popular topic in the show was tentacle monsters, scantily clad women, and unfortunately Yaoi. XD

So onto Day one.

I get to the Convention Center, preregistered and saw the hordes of people in different costumes. Last year, Preregistering wasn't any trouble at all, but this year...... yeah....

I trek out to the left side of the area and head outside where I see a HUGE and I mean HUGE line just like one at Six Flags or something, and it continues on to another section of the place then a third section of nothing but going back and forth getting closer and closer again to reenter the building.

I finally get inside about an hour later and get my badge which didn't take that long. This day, I had no plans whatsoever, just check out the entire convention, not check out any panels. I took a buttload of pictures. I'll separate them by days in my AniRichie account. After wandering around a bit, I head to the exhibit hall and catch another line waiting for the place to open up. I gladly wait again as the line slowly moves. It's not till after I find out that this is where people for the Artist alley are lining up to set up their booths and everything so I wasted my time in the process.

It wasn't all bad though as I got to mee tup again with a friend of mine while waiting in line, so no problems. Around 12 I find the actual line to the Exhibit Hall, but this one was so damn long, it went from the entrence, by the underpass, all the way close to the parking lots. It was VERY long........

I just went and decided to say "Fuck it." and ditched the line and went off to go get some lunch.
After lunch, I meet up with , , and and we checked out the exhibit hall/Artist alley. Nearly all of the Exhibits has the same amount of stuff there. Over 60 different booths that were selling LOTS and LOTS of things that make my wallet cry. And it DID.

Other than the booths, there was a table where several actors of the old Power Rangers were at hanging out and meeting people.
I didn't expect them to be there as I saw their panel wouldn't begin until DAY 3, but I'm glad all the same. I met Selwyn Ward (TJ from Power Rangers Turbo/Space), Roger Velasco, (Carlos from PRT/Space as well) and Barbara Goodson herself (Rita Repulsa and several other anime roles. )

I got a pics in with all three of them, kinda sad Jason Frank wasn't there. Woulda been awesome. Speaking of Tommy, there were several Green Rangers and a White Ranger too whose costumes were pretty damn good.

We hung around for a few hours then parted, I went off to get some more shots/film the convention, then at 8pm, went to see the Adventures in Voice Acting Panel led by Philece Sampler (Mimi from Digimon), and Tony Oliver (Tony of Xenosaga, and other roles) and the panel was pretty entertaining albeit technical difficulties, she told us all about timing in lip syncing, and it was harder than it looks to do as she got several people to volunteer to try to lip sync to an anime short.

That was Day one. It looked like nothing much happened, but there was ALOT to see and I'll let the pictures tell the story. I'll put up Day 1 pictures right now.

CAPSTONE ANIMATION - HIGH SCHOOL HAVOC
- This, I'm in the phase of collecting almost all voices for the main movie. I need to wait for three more people though and I'll have everything ready for animating. I think the majority of the summer break will be me working on this thing. I want to complete this as soon as possible. And I'm not sure if I brought this up yet, but I'm going to make a second add on to the animation by making a short little mini cartoon with Mel, Esper, and Yuki as super heroes. XD That should be fun.


Webcomic: GSG Aftermath and GSG COLLOSSO
- I've finished up CHAPTER 9 of COLLOSSO and now I'm ready to post it on smackjeeves! ^_^
Chapter nine is nothing but battles, but a little bonus is the amount of fanservice within the battle too. So look forward to that too. I've finished making pages for Chapter 9 so the haitus is over on June 13 saturday. As for AFTERMATH, Its still in Chapter 7 and now I'm starting on pages for CHAPTER 8 Stranded which has Ethan and Toumeya stranded on an island alone while Miyuki, Skye, Jessie, and Joseph look for them. I've also made a banner change for COLLOSSO and am working on a new Art section for it too using chibis. I wont be able to finish the page in time for the update, but hell I have all summer!!!

1. Capstone Animation Project: Its all planned out. I just finished the animatic for it and its ready for the real thing. The animatic is just an animated sketchy "first draft" of the whole animation without any voices, color, just a rough layout of it. The whole plan for the movie is that it takes place during the middle of the high school havoc plot and Yukiko loses a valuable possession of hers and she gets her friends to help her look for it.

I need to start compiling the audio and voice clips so I'll still be busy.

2. Health issues. Nothing serious this time but lately I've been having alot of back issues and its causing me problems. When I'm sitting at a computer, or working on a stool on an animation table, my back tenses up and it gets VERY bothersome, ugh I've had this nagging pain now for over three weeks. I also went to check with a chiropractor and they had my back adjusted, massages and overall just beating the crap out of it and knocking the wind out of me. I just hope this pain gets settled soon. I've been putting heating and ice packs on my back trying to numb the pain, strangely I feel no pain during working out and playing soccer.

3. Games. It doesn't help that I'm also wasting my time playing my PS2 over and over again. I beat Persona 3, fanboyed at the ending with Aigis, and went straight to Ar Tonelico and then to Ar tonelico 2 as of right now. I also bought KH: Re chain of memories so I'm gonna plat the first KH after AT2 then to Re COM, so this too will suck up more of my time. T_T


4. Facebook. this evil thing has brought together so many people namely in the form of a game called Restaurant City and Pet society. Not once have I so devoted all my time to a freaking game where little chibi people go to your own restauant and eat. I'm like level 14 on this damn thing and on pet society, I made a little pet to raise like a neopet.

My pet is named Tasha. Yeah I'm original.

But seriously, If you have facebook and everyone and their cat DOES, add me on there(trinidad Gomez) and I'll hook you up to these frigging addicting games if you want.


I'm gonna go disappear now into my little hole of laziness.

My real deal animation reel is going to be a 3-4 minute animation.

High School Havoc: Lost Possession

Nothing introducing the characters or anything complicated like that, the setting is going to be set after the more recent pages. The animation has Yukiko losing a possession of hers that is important to her, and she gets Esper, Mel, Mike, Shorty (a new character), and the Valkyries basketball team to look for it. At this point, I finished the rough sketching of how it will look, found all the sound and music clips I need. Only thing now is to approve of the idea and make the script and look for people to do some voice acting. :3

I feel really good about this project and I have a whole year to complete it. that means I'm going all out to make this animation look as smooth and fluid as possible.
Everyone I've seen so far in my class is usually doing 3d on maya and man do I envy them if they can understand that program.


Also I'm doing some fine tuning to my comic sites. Slowly but surely getting the High School Havoc smackjeeves site up and running, and making art for it, but I'm also going back to the COLLOSSO and AFTERMATH sites and fine tuning those as well. I was wondering is if anyone had a website or two, that I would like to advertise them for you. I plan to link up your site with a small banner and everything to the sidebar of both sites so people can check them out when viewing my comic. I'm revamping the links section so if you have a website or something you want to promote and advertise, comment if interested and I'll make a banner for you too or supply me with one if you have one.

I'm broke so whatever.

I started classes this week so I was getting used to new classes and junk.

- I'm taking tai chi again
- I'm taking advanced animation for the second time in a year because I gotta take the class twice.
- I'm taking a art anf Film aesthetics class which is just watching movies mainly
- I'm taking a soccer class because of a dopey reason. XD
- I'm taking a CAPSTONE animation class that will take a year to do and I need to make one hell of an animation to pass it.

My April fools day yesterday was boring and tiring. I had the soccer class in the morning, the capstone class in the afternoon and the film/aesthetics class at night. By 10, I dropped dead. So nothing cracky or witty. It's still April so I might get around to do something April Fools related, don't give me that its only one day, its STILL APRIL, so .

For the CAPSTONE, I decided to make a introduction reel of my webcomic HIGH SCHOOL HAVOC!
That means I'm going to make a series of animation shorts of Yukiko, Esperanza, and Melanie animated, voices and everything. My first quarter capstone will more likely plan out the shorts, second quarter will do voice overs, and start animating, and the last quarter will finish up everything so I should have everything done by summer 2010.

Still a long wait, but I feel really good and excited to make this project animated.

For my Advanced Animation, I have a movie from the first class already done, but I've been negelcting to post it on youtube due to that its a trailer for my GSG COLLOSSO webcomic so after a few chapters pass I can officially release this trailer for VOLUME 7.

This class, for this animation I'm going to take an idea from a storyboard class and make an animation out of it. It will star a chibified or young Ethan and Tasha as Kids in a festival and the main theme will involve cotton candy. :3

That will take me about 10 weeks to complete so that animation will be out by then.

I decided to pick up Pokemon Platinum and play it. I really enjoy this game. There are alot of differences from Diamond and Pearl, namely the graphics change, and the fact that I can now use Eevee.

I'll update this journal again with my friend code to those interested in battling me. I'll also put up my Diamond, and Pearl FC's as well for challenges so if anyone wants to challenge me or trade with me, its fine.


Speaking of HSH, with regards to my big animation reel that I gotta do, I'm gonna be posting nothing but High School Havoc related art here.
Mainly character designs, more pages, etc.

I already designed four more characters that'll support the main cast. These are the Valkyrie teamates of Melanie's.
Each of different personalities and stuff. I'll put up a piece showing the starting 5 team as well as other art for them, more character designs etc so look forward to that.

I have FINALS WEEK this week, but I'm officially done with them as of today.

I only had four classes and I'm pretty psyched that this might be my first straight A run that I ever had.

I'm not the type of person to get A's, only if they start with an F and end in IL. :3

My major class was the Written Expression Visual Arts class which is a reading and writing class. It was the class that had me going to the museum with a group. We had our presentation last thursday, and I think it well overall well. I'm more glad that it was over and the way the guy grades us so leniently on papers, I'm expecting an A in this class, I hope.

After that was this week, which had me taking that Tai Chi final. We had to do the 24 pose movement like 10 different times and in 10 different areas and in groups.
Another A grade.

The painting class was a critique of my three paintings I had done. One of them was an abstract piece about the recent dream and sleep stuff I've been following for about a year, another was a picture in reference to my story and the last one was a huge representational piece of Ethan, Tasha, Toumeya, and Natalie where they're lined up, to the back of Ethan, hands holded together, looking down. I'm pretty sure I'll get the A there hopefully.

Lastly was that Human development class with the usual final test, I turn it in and learn that the optional paper that was due too...... and then I learned it WASN'T optional, and my dumbass is trying to finish it up right now as I type this. Yeah I'm still not remotely done yet with finals. XD


Once I'm done with everything, I have about a three day break where I'm taking it easy, and will start doing some art again and fight laziness. I have 6 pages left for my recent AFTERMATH chapter that I'm going to finish up and then go straight back into the COLLOSSO story of CHAPTER 9 and start making pages for that chapter.

Along with art I'm going to start making another webcomic. Just as an experiment and see how it goes. I'm going to start posting pages of High School Havoc here and see how it goes. I'll also cross reference pages from here and on SmackJeeves with its own website. Smackjeeves has two servers now and everything runs a whole lot FASTER now, its amazing! My two golden sun sites are freaking fast now! O_O

I also like some opinions here about HSH and what you think about it, in terms of how its presented and I could make some changes in later pages.

Monday though I'm pressed for Jury Service and I don't know how long that will take, but it will be good either way because I scheduled it for the week off of college. Spring quarter starts the week after monday.

I'll submit another OC piece and another HSH page soon.

I've just preregistered for Anime Expo 09!

I PreRegistered today for Anime Expo 09 and i'm good to go now.

Just 5 more months! ::gushes and explodes::

Man am I psyched. Going to meet more friends than before and this time I'm going the full four days.

I already have plans on what I'm going to do with the camera:

- film a caramelldansen video of cosplayers
- join a friends group and participate in cosplayer stalking vs. fangirls. (I dunno about this one. My friend needs to brief me more about this. :3 )

It didn't turn out as expected with me and my friend. We had trouble getting in contact with each other so I still owe her this gift o' mine so its more or less all good.


Speaking of which, I need to ask everyone this, but does anyone use GoogleTalk or G Talk?

Its an instant messenger application that you can download from your Gmail. I REALLY need more friends on there. T_T

I've come to realize that I'm a failure at updating..... :3

I'm not in any art slump, its just because I'm obsessively busy and a lazy asshole.

I have like 2 scanned linearts on this computer ready to go, but my lazy ass doesn't start working on them.

That and I'm busy with school right now despite excuses.

I just came off of midterms and this next two weeks aren't going to give me free time either. I have to go to another museum again and start doing a group report on one of the exhibits shown. I'll be doing that the entire weekend.

Plus my friends birthday is coming up on the 28th and I was thinking of making a card and giving her a professional piece too, done by me. Only problem is that I suck on backgrounds so I'm having trouble trying to make these things, but I got a week to go so I cannot dawdle.

My overall health that I've been monitoring, I looked over my latest test results and it shows that my blood sugar levels went from 465 to 127 in 4 months. O_O

Which means I can safely say I'm now overall HEALTHY!!!!!! DDDDDD

My spring quarter is set to begin and I got two painful animation courses, taking advanced animation for a second time, and then a capstone animation class that will take THREE whole quarters to complete.

Other than that I'm doing some athletics. I'm currently taking a tai chi class and will take it again too.

New Year so out with the old.

My 2008 was downright depressing so I'm looking to turn the other way and forget about it.

My activity here is pretty much dead, but I'm doing my best to put art up on here.

I learned that if I'm in class, then my activity here grows so for once I'm glad classes start so I can finally put up some work on here.

This year I'm taking more animation courses and so I'll be putting together some new animations. I got the idea to work on making anime like openings, but for my webcomic. Kinda like AMV's using tracks from the anime Bleach. I LOVE those tracks they have on the openings so I'll use em.

As usual, commissions are still up, but I'm leaning more on getting a job than relying on commissions for money.

Regardless of what happens to the rest of my bank account I AM returning to Anime Expo 2009. I think i'll get a job beforehand and raise my bank account for useless anime stuff that I'll buy like a sucker.

I'm on another art hiatus until further notice. My brain is out of art idea's at the moment, so next month, I'll start posting relevant crap again.

Got nothing much to say here. My professor dropped a bombshell on us that we need to go on another art museum field trip out of the blue so I gotta shell out cash for gas AND the admission. I'm plenty broke right now. XD

And I've been playing Xenosaga again and got to Cathedral ship. I'm gonna replay the whole series again, level and point grind through dungeons, take on optional bosses again and maybe this time I'll beat that freaking desert boss in Xenosaga 2! He is the only one left to kill as I beaten the other two bosses and he's a HUGE pain in the ass!

I don't work until I get paid. Once you pm me what you want, you send me only HALF of the full price of the completed work, then I work on the pencil sketch. Once I'm done with it, I shall note you back with a screenshot of the pencilwork and you tell me what to fix, what goes where, whatever and if you're satisfied, then I shall go on and "ink" it on photoshop after getting the "YES". Then I shall color it. Once I'm done, I'll note you back and then you pay the rest of the fee and I shall give you your prized piece.

I have had plans for the next upcoming pieces to be submitted like:

- the last two beach pics: I'll more likely post these and finish the series during the week.
- Xenosaga Comic 34: I'll more likely have this up again by New Years Day at the latest
- Golden Sun Heroes series: I'll continue these next year

I'm doing this because I've hit my artists block and that mixed in with my personal life too. I'm more or less tired with art at the moment and I just want to go back to school and not concentrate on internet art updates.

My classes start this week so I'll be busy and frankly, I WANT to spend my time on that. Things have just been too goddamn boring around here in my internet social life and I just want to get involved in other things. I've been taking it easy and playing games lately, one of them is FFTA2.

Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is a freaking EPIC game! I've clocked in over 50 hours on the DS and I'm STILL not halfway done with the game. Its just so AMAZING! I got the game guide about a week ago and it helps ALOT. The cashier dude from the Game Crazy store also mentioned that the guide was very helpful. This game has about 13 main quests to pass the game and over THREE hundred side quests to complete. I'm done about 150 quests including about 8 main quests and over a hundred side quests.

The dispatch missions are a Godsend too because unlike the first game, you can send out party members alot easy and when they return, EVERY character gets AP to master abilities instead of just the members who went. It makes mastering abilities alot easier.

The main character is also a great addition because he's a real kid instead of some blond haired bishie with mental problems that you see in other Final Fantasy titles. Speaking of blond haired characters, Vaan and Penelo are in this game and HOLY SHIT! Vaan is FINALLY wearing a Goddamn shirt!! His man chest from FF12 and Revenent Wings is so non believable. XD

Other cameos are Montblanc from the first game and Al-Cid from FF12 minus his harem although his abilities are women oriented. XD

My favorite characters are Luso the main character because he's not a douche-bag like Marche was (WAAAAAAAH I wanna go home back to my boring life and handicapped brother so I'm gonna destroy this MUCH interesting fantasy world with jobs and fights and everyone else is above all happy except me. Wah wah!! ) and Adelle. Adelle is freaking cool and I'm gonna make a portrait on Adelle's greatness!

This week I'm going to give it my all to finish Chapter 7 Blind Love of my Collosso webcomic and move onto the next chapter. I have about 12 or so pages left and I want to get it over and done with. I'm really dedicating myself to work on 3 pages a day starting tomorrow up until Saturday. After that I can get working on the scripts for Collosso Chapter 8's Miyuki versus Cerberus ( character) battle which is a more intimidating and darker battle compared to Ethan Vs. Blackfox and Skye Vs. Minerva.

Aftermath's story will have a long hiatus to it so I can spend October or November making the next chapter. I started writing out chapter 6's script but haven't finished it yet. And I need to improve the site as well, tweak the HTML, and add more image links to it.

For all my other art, I have 4 projects planned for this week that I'll get in as well. Two Beach series pics, one fancrack comic and that Adelle portrait. >D

I'll get to work on it ASAP.

Wasn't that bad compared to the northridge one in 94. Anyone experience that one too?

I was asleep then it started to shake. The only injury was me getting out of bed too fast and the oxygen didn't reach my brain and I had a dizzy spell. XD

Wasn't classified as a big one, but a medium one though. I'm still convinced were due for a Huge One causing great damage. :3

No injuries or damage it seems all over the news so that's good.

As for me, I'm unsure about if I'm going to college classes because I lost an award grant that I got the past four years so attending classes is going to be interesting for the next two or so month. I'm debating on making commissions here but I first need to know some things about paypal, pricing and all that.


Back to my art, I'm going work on two series over the summer. The first is a set of beach poses of my characters in all their sexy glory. Yeah, the two guys too for the female deviants. XD

The second series is a Golden Sun one with all eight characters and maybe more done on that illustration board again.

Other than that I've been well, I've been working hard on trying to lose weight and amazingly I'm actually doing a good job. I started at 228 and now I'm 215. O_O

Today's day was VERY VERY shorter compared to the other days. I guess they wanted to get everything over with it and pack up. Also it was kind of understandable being the last day, that there were not that many cosplayers around and it overall atmosphere wasn't as lively as it was before. To me, I was pumped and ready to go. But that's my fault for only going 2 out of 4 days. T_T

So I arrived at the Convention center and needed to change my pass because I had it for Saturday. Again there was no hassle at all and I got a red Sunday badge.

Afterwards, I decided to head back to the Exhibit Alley(I think its called that), and do some quick shopping for once. While passing through the hallway, this group of staff were together walking to head to do their jobs and the dudes all called out every passerby cheering for them for no reason including me. XD

Funny and very random. O.o

Got to the Exhibit Alley and found out I needed to wait in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG line that lead to the outside with over a a few five hundred people. But what was great was that it went by so fast I got in, in about 10 minutes.

After browsing around, I decided to buy some boxed DVD's of some animes as well as some manga for my collection. I went off then to meet with and do some more sightseeing, cosplay scavanger hunt, and hang out.

There was an arcade there with lots of games including DDR, streetfighter and my favs, the classic arcade games.

I wasted all my quarters on one of my favorite army aircraft shooting games that I used to play all the time over at the old Student Union at my college before it got torn down. But THIS damn machine in particular ate up TWO quarters instead of one. Man, even the arcade games don't come cheap. >_>

Me and parted ways after that as I went back to go do some more shopping. Today I was dedicating myself to buy lots of things instead of one.


Well...........

I "kinda" went overboard after that.


I left the convention center and headed to the Team L.A. store, went off and bought some Lakers gear first off. I triggered the alarms in the store twice there because of the DVD's and manga I bought. One thing about me, is that I'm AFRAID to go into a store carrying things I already bought because it might trigger the alarms. Well, it happened twice. XD

After leaving the store, I went back to the Con. For a few good minutes I took some shots of some cosplayers and returned back to the arcade then to the Exhibit Alley AGAIN (XD) and lost my mind. I went to EACH store and bought even MORE manga and some DVD's. >_>

Some of the shops has some nice content I didn't catch yesterday. One has old school power ranger toys and zords and my inner child shed a tear. XD

They had all the freaking zord toys, transformers, beast wars toys and everything. I didn't buy em since I already own them from a long time ago. :3


I passed by a booth that was selling live action Japanese movie DVD's. One of the HD TV's were showing one of the videos. It was about a superhero like sailor moon. It was SO cheesy and corny it was hysterical. XD

The girl pulled a Sailor Moon transformation and fought this gold clad armor chick and she summoned about 15 men in suits and a fight scene ensued similar to the matrix except more cornier and hysterical. The gold chick took the "Cutie honey" hero by her hair and swung her, slamming her against two cars. And all that girl said was "Didn't hurt." XD

I bought another print and then called it a day. But yet there was more. As I was heading out of the Exhibit hall, I found lots of great cosplayers and spent the good 30 minutes taking ALOT of pictures.

Speaking of which, I was able to successfully catch the "CaramelDansen train" I mentioned earlier.

Being in a huge crowded area full of people dressed as emo ninja's, swordsmen whose swords are TWICE as big as their own bodies, mascots decked out as bunnies, brown box thingys with jaws, and final fantasy cosplay everywhere, I've come back from the fray to share my experience that is Day 3 Anime Expo 2008.

It being my first con, I gotta say, it was definitely as advertised.


I arrive to the convention center and register with no problems so far. Glad that I didn't need any paperwork or early registering so I can keep that in mind.

After registering I waited around and caught up with and we checked out the main area of the gallery which was the shops, and other displays. There were several places where you could buy all sorts of manga, toys, clothes, hats, pocky (XD), and even cat ear hats. O.O

We found some Xenosaga figures, mainly 4 inch tall characters, and boxed figures of a 7 inch Kos-mos and T-elos. O_O

I didn't buy it because I'm not good at keeping things in mint condition and I'd open up the damn thing and ruin the value. XD

These shops are rigged too, we found the same figure at 65 bucks and another at another shop worth 99 bucks. RIP FREAKING OFF!!!!

As much as there were so many things to possibly buy, I had enough willpower to only buy one thing. XD

I'm so gonna frame this thing.

Well anyways, we browsed all over and then ran into this DeviantArt booth. Computers were set up as well as HD televisions which were used to showcase peoples deviations on the screen by simply using the DA site to log in our usernames and they would randomly pic out any of our work and post them on the television. We logged in our names but didn't see any of our artwork on TV, plus with people already logged in ahead of us, the odds were pretty low. XD



We then headed to artist alley where we saw several DA artists showcase their work. I'll check around there again and buy some more prints.


We had lunch and suddenly, the earth began to shake. It wasn't an earthquake, but instead it was a TRAIN of obsessed, psycho FANGIRLS doing the freaking CARAMELDANSEN! They were blasting that song in a line at the food court areas and marching doing that thing they do in the animation. I am going to get a picture of it when this convention is all said and done!! >D

After that we went to the screening rooms to check out some anime. We only saw the first episode of the anime "Ah My Goddess" which was unusual. XD

I wanted to see Happy Lesson, but it was gonna be shown at 4 in the morning, which makes no sense. O.o



Lastly, we went and registered for an anime crash course. It was a room where you draw and these artists teach kids on how to draw. The back had Guitar Hero, computers set up with photoshop to color ones artwork.

Me and got dragged into the class as this teacher dude taught us stuff. The guy was crazy and a little too obsessed. Reminded me of one of my tutors in high school with his energy. I get the vibe once we take his course, he was NEVER gonna let us leave no matter what. O_O

We spent about an hour there drawing up whatever we wanted. I did a quickie drawing of Miyuki and Tasha before doing his exercise.

Well I needed to leave after that and left him to his crazy teachings.

So from the first day at the con I have experienced and learned:

- Cosplayers are BRAVE people enduring this godawful heat and dudes dressed in sailor fuku's ala Lucky Star or Haruhi.

- Come to the con in a wheelchair. My back has given out and I lost all feeling in it.

- Only 1 XENOSAGA cosplayer was there. A decent Shion, and that was it. I am disappointed.

- MAKE A CHECKLIST OF COSPLAY CHARACTERS YOU HAVE TO SEE

I have changed EVERYTHING to the site and added extra stuff like:

- Entire layout changed to look like COLLOSSO's layout except blue

- Added Arrow navagation buttons with amusing character chibi's on em

- Updated the WEAPONS PAGE so it includes information on ALL characters weapons that will be used in the webcomic story.

- Changed the ARCHIVE page to include images rather than links.

- Made THIS comic a Smackjeeves Donation comic which means more press and people looking at it

As for the comic itself, it will resume normal updates on May 12



For the COLLOSSO comic, I made small updates as well:

- Changed the font colors from black to white so that people can easily read the text on all pages.

- Added a GSG: Episode 1 link on the links toolbar to link back and forth between the two comics

- Changed the ARCHIVE page to include images than links

On the regular art front, I'm not being lazy or anything. I have about 4 pieces I want to color and put up on here, but my time is on working on my final animation project I havent the time to work on anything serious or new comic pages.

For the OC's, BIG props to for coming up with names for my OC's.

I decided to name my Oc's Esperanza and Melanie. I'll be making more art of these guys as well as the third OC that I'm still working on at the moment.

For myself, I am goin' on a diet and to lose weight. I'm eating healthier now and I hope I lose some weight and get in shape. I'll be taking more gym courses later on and get into it.

I suck at character design and the fact that I barely scratched out 7 fantasy OC's is a miracle.

I'm going in a different direction and working on new OC's that are not fantasy related but more realistic.

I'm thinking of creating three new characters. I already did a concept on one of them, but the second one didn't turn out well. I'll work on it again though.

Point of this journal is suggestions for names cause I suck in that department too. XD
Help would be nice. ^_^

In other news, I had a problem with my laptop. The program I used Toon Boom kept giving me problems because of a graphics error and prevented me from using the program the right way. I finally fixed it after suffering a long time, so it means more dedication to my projects.

I'm able to make about three pages a day for comics and thats pretty good in terms of updating the comic sites so I'm all good.

Thats all I guess.

Just kidding about the last post.

I'm still gonna be here. If I had more time to draw an April fools art I'd definitely do it!!

Nothing much going on with me, I have sketched out some pieces for coloring so you'll get some game art soon.

Outside life, I ordered Valkyrie Profile offa Ebay and playing it.

Pretty interesting game with the recruiting and stuff.

It looks like the rest of my college future is set. Two more years to go and I'm set.


But the main thing right now is this:


How the hell do you cure hiccups?!
I swear I've been hiccupping all damn day long <_<

I believe it was from the huge workout I got today, both weight training and playing B-ball, plus it was cold today so that musta been one of the reasons, I dunno.

I'm STILL hiccupping after this. XD
It better end soon!

Lastly, I've chosen a topic for my next animation movie. I am going to make a three minute action trailer for my golden Sun Webcomic story.

Its going to be an animated version of my webcomic which means my characters are going to move around doing action stuff and crap. No voice acting, just music in the background. Finding sound effects to suit the mood of the scenes is going to be tricky.

I have to make character designs which is easy, and do a frame which is a preview still of what the movie is going to look like. I'll update that here when I'm done.

Basically what the trailer is about is the start of the second rounds, semi finals, and finally the Final round battle. Its the entire volume 7 arc (my story is currently volume 6).

"Sixteen Down, Eight remain."

"Coming 2010"

From then on you just get assorted scenes of the characters going through different scenes throughout volume 7.

I'm iffy on the 2010 date, but knowing how slow I am at webcomic updates it should be around that time I finish up Volume 6, if not longer.

I got time off now, so I'm more or less free. I'll continue to try and put up some art now that I'm on my break.

For starters I'd like to share my Animation Project that I've been up to for the last 2 months.

Its about THE BUILDING, an OC character of mine back in the day and now I made him animated.

Other than that, I finished Ar Tonelico and now I shall give a review of it.

The game is pretty fun and there's lots of good points in the game. I like how the game looks similar to Xenogears with the 2D characters on a 3D background.

The game is half RPG and half dating game sim thing. O.o
The dating Sim thing is a twist to the game which allows the main character Lyner enter the minds of Reyveteils (the heroine leads) and partake in helping them be better people and all that emotional stuff in exchange for getting the strong magic spells, attacks, and other things. Its a different twist to character development for sure.

There's also lots of applied innuendo in the game its not even funny because the damn main character is so damn stupid to catch on I feel sorry for him. XD
I'm also the amazed that the voice actors weren't cracking the hell up and kept their poise saying these damn lines. XD

Okay, enough about that, the RPG aspect is the best part. There is LOTS of exploration in this game similar to FF12's exploration except not as much. The majority of exploring is in the Ar Tonelico tower, this extremely huge ass tower that reaches into space and there are about over 15 dungeons inside of it which is nuts! there are lots of paths and hidden rooms its crazy. O_O

The game has awesome item customization as well as item synthesis just like STAR OCEAN 3's.

The difficulty is somewhat way too easy, but thats just me cause I like to powerlevel like crazy. >_>

Eh, I'll add this up on my top 10 favorite games, and I hope they dub Ar Tonelico 2 soon.

Speaking of which I was thinking of trying out the Atelier Iris series too just for kicks and I was wondering how the game is like for those who played it.

I might grab the first game or two and try em out, but I wanna know firsthand how they are before breaking out the bank.

My art hiatus is still going on but there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for me.

My animation project that I've been working on for the past month or so is almost done. I need to complete about four more scenes and it'll be finished that is after piecing it altogether. I'd say by the end of the weekend, I'll be done with this godforsaken thing.
In case anyone was curious its about the BUILDING an OC character of mine. Some people here I have told them about.
XD

But even after that I still got some things to finish up, namely going through my hell week which consists of me studying for my finals and we all know how much I love getting ready for these. >_>


I haven't done any art worth posting here, but I have been keeping up trying to add more and more pages for my Tournament webcomic. I barely have put up two pages a week and its still on a good pace. I'll post up one filler and another page until I'm done with school.

As for my personal life, its been rough, father had heart surgery after a heart attack and he's ok and back at the house recovering so its all good. Other than that I've been regulated to my Nintendo DS as my source of fun when I'm not animating.

Speaking of which, for the Poke people, I finally completed the National Pokedex for PKMN Fire Red. I have 386 monsters listed including Jirachi, Deoxys, Mew, Celebi etc.

Yes, I'm a cheating turd, but those are the only ones I Gamesharked. XD

I clocked in over 60 hours on my fire Red and damn it feels good to say I completed that damn thing. Now I'm going to export all of them to PKMN Pearl then reset. I had a good idea speaking to a fellow battler of mine and got the idea of doing a four way battle. But not just any four way battle. >D I'm going to transfer all my main teams from all my 6 pkmn games (Ruby, Sapphire, Fire Red, Emerald, Leaf Green, and Diamond) to Pearl and create like an "all star" team. I'll take the strongest pokemon from each party and make a new 6 pokemon team of them together and use em in a four way battle.

It'll be an interesting twist competitive battling wise plus it beats boredom. XD

Give me another 2 or so weeks and I'll be back full time.

Over close inspection I was able to fix the problem with my monitor. Apparently the video card was out of its slot which was causing the monitor not to turn on. It's strange since I never even messed with it and it just randomly popped out. O_O

Well, it was also a good chance for me to clean out the dust inside the fan again which is always good. I recommend people do that at least every two months. Makes the computer (desktops) to run more efficiently.


I'm still swamped with busy work and its holding me back on my art. I'm not in a slump its just finding time to do the work thats the killer.

I had some time to spare and completed two art pieces in like forever. XD

That will be the last two artworks in a long time from me until mid March.

As far as my Animation work goes, I need to spend the majority of my time working on Toom Boom and Anime studio. I also need to record my voice for the lip sync part of that. Should be interesting.


For future art plans, me and are going to work eventually on a 100 theme challenge in a Live Journal Club we made up called XenoSun:

If its not one thing its another with my computer.

My desktop computer seems to be acting weird again!!

Why do I always have these problems!?


Okay, this new problem is sometimes my monitor refuses to turn on. When I turn on the PC the light stays orange and doesnt turn green which means its on. I turn on the power and it sounds like the machine is running but the screen doesn't turn on.

It's starting to happen alot more now. T_T

I just bought this damn new monitor too, to replace the other one that broke down. Grr.
It looks like I'll need to do my activity on my laptop.


In other news, I got a break, and a dude hooked me up with Toom Boom 4 software for me to use for my animation project. Problem now is I need to remember how the hell this program worked. I used it before in the past to do some animations including a STAR WARS movie I did. XD

I am starting to realize I'm running out of time too on this project. >_>

This month is the one year Anniversary of my Golden Sun webcomics and I'm surprised I've been able to keep it up this long due to the thoughts of quitting, finding somewhere else to host them and all that, but it is what it is. ^_^ The days may not have been exact but I decided to round it out to this month due to scheduling.

To celebrate, I changed Episode I's Smackjeeves' layout to make it similar to the Collosso layout except it's blue instead of purple..

I went and got myself a laptop computer.


Was a bit pricey, but its worth it. ^_^

I can now work on my own projects at school and namely my animation projects on anime studio. The schools computers dont have it so I can bring the laptop to class with it and work from there.

I looked all over to find one that had Windows XP on it. Everything else had Windows Vista on it, and I've read up that its hard for Vista to install any old programs on it so I did the smart thing. XP for the win.


what's cool is that I can go wireless here and use my other computers internet connection and go online with the laptop.

I'm so happy. ^_^


Now all I need to do is install Photoshop, Manga Studio, and anime studio on here as well as transfer my art on here.

I also need to study for the midterm for Art History, and we all know how much I LOVE studying for these. >_> [\sarc]

This is the sole reason why my productivity for the next few days will still be lax. Heh, before this it was all due to lazyness on my part, but this time I'll need to hit the books.


I WILL get some art up on here. I don't have any art slumps this time, it's all just a matter of me drawing which is a good possibility and will get me to practice drawing on this laptop. Bear with me.

As usual I'm still in an art slump. I can't make anything lately that I'm really proud of.

Art funk sucks ass.

As for life. I have done some animation cycles of Ethan and Tasha being animated (Yes, I actually did make an animation project with these two in my class.). I'm trying to convert the projects to movie files that I can upload onto youtube so you all can laugh at my failed attempts at animating. Hehehehe.

Lifewise, my classes are pretty dull and thats fine with me. The days are just going by fast. Nothing much going on except my art slump.


Unfortunately I scrapped one of my webcomic ideas on smackjeeves, since I lost interest in it, and I couldn't juggle my time.

That may or may not be bad news, but I decided to try something new on the comic front.

I decided to do another "Warped" webcomic, like my Xeno Warped comic series.

Except this time its going be a Pokemon Diamond and Pearl crack story.
I want to try something different and break a few walls in terms of my art and do something funny as hell. I already got some funny ass ideas on what to draw. I dunno if I should make this an actual comic though, but I will put up a sample someday. XDDD

I saw like 4 of those yesterday.

Anyways, I got the RAM. I took my computer to Circuit City and they installed one gig of RAM. I can now have a crapload of programs up and njo slowdown. Un fortunately I'm too busy to take advantage right now due to studying but, I recommend people buy more RAM. Its a lifesaver.

Nothing much to report on my life. It's all boring, uneventful, and I'm just going along with the ride of college. Its boring when you have no friends or outer sources of fun around here to keep busy, but hey, more time to catch up on drawing I say. I Still have projects to do, presentations, museum reports, and thats all whats going on with me right now. One thing though that baffles me is an upcoming sculpture project that is confusing me. We need to calculate our volume of our body and use that to make something with the similar volume as our body. I have NO idea what the hell our professor means and no idea what to make. His explanations are very vague. T_T

We need sketches done by Wednesday for this and I'm drawing a blank.

I finally beat Grandia 3 in what was a year off break from the game. I DO have willpower away from the comp it seems.

Now that its over, I can hopefully go back to Ar Tonelico, and Valkyrie Profile 2 again someday.

Anyways, now that I'm glad its over, I might return it, or let it collect dust until I decide to play it again but possibly the former. The one thing though I'd rather do is shove Emelious' sword down Alfina's annoying throat and shut that damn harpy's trap shut.

It's all "EMELIUS!! COME BACK!!!" Every time she talks!!

I hate those damsel characters! Grow a damn spine woman! He's evil and isn't your loving brother no more!

Other than that, I'm quite pissed off at the heavy lag my PS is being on me. The damn program loads like a snail when I have it on when I'm doing some pages. Its annoying. I'm wondering if its always like this or not. I defragged my computer, ran my anti virus software, and ran my adware and spyware checks but the damn thing still runs slow.

It can't be the hardrive either, I still have over 110 gigs of free space left over so I know its not dragging me down. I think I might need to get more RAM for my machine.


I'm following the Lucky Star trend lately too. That show is pretty cute, and the Lucky Channel segments at the end are so damn funny. The girl Akira is one psychotic bipolar nutcase who goes into mood swings and takes it out on her co-anchor Minoru:

College aside: I still suck ass at studying, the plaster used in my sculpting class is destroying my sinuses, I have trouble memorizing works of art in my art history course, and I'm more prone to screwing something up in my Microbiology lab one day, other than that I'm peachy. XD

CSS Layout by

I'm pretty much delaying all my work. I just don't feel motivated to do things from a list but rather make art at the top of my head. With that, I decided to do some random giftarts just cause I want to. I'll do about 4 pictures compiling of some characters from my favorite webcomic stories on Smackjeeves. So I'll put up something on here soon.

In other webcomic related things, I finished the script and chapter layout for GSG Chapters 6-10. That means the entire Volume 6 tournament story is all planned out and ready to be drawn up. All of the plot and junk is all planned out and ready to be drawn. I look forward to bringing the script from the sketchbook to paper for your viewing pleasure in the next couple of months. The only grip is that the last chapter 10 is too damn long for my tastes and I think it'll take over 30 pages to complete, but since it is the last chapter and the one where the story TRULY kicks off, I think thats fine.

CHAPTER 6 for GSG BTS will be uploaded at SJ on January 2nd where the first battle will take place with Ethan and Alex W. ^_^

For life, nothing out of the ordinary, classes started, I'm in decent standing with my major, and just chugging along.

- This story is going smoothly. CHAPTER 4 is already finished sketched out and CHAPTER 5 will be drawn as well. CHAPTER 4 was an extremely long chapter because of the comic layout change, but it's fine as it is. Chapter 5 will involve Ethan getting used to his new best friend: Toumeya.

Life:
School just started today, so I'm all set to go back there again and begin my fourth year of college. About fucking time I say. Vacation was awfully boring doing nothing and I want to do shit and get involved and be active again.

I haven't done much art on here, and I'm probably not going to for awhile. I'm heavily occupied on my webcomic right now, making pages, working on html to make my sites look good, get ready for a revamp on one of them, getting ready to begin a third webcomic etc so I'm quite busy. I'll sparingly try to post something up on here, but will just be a while before I put up anything epic up again. Check out the webcomic section for info on the webcomics.

An update page since I completed a round of fanart and now with a new list.

I'm actually surprised I was able to finish that long list considering I spend the majority of the time working on my golden sun Comic Arcs here and on smackjeeves. Anyways nothing new here, just coming to the realization of my summer will end soon and I'm back at the damn college. T_T

Updated list at the bottom. I'm up for doing some trades if you want me to. I'll only do original character trades. You do one of mine and I'll do one of yours. Lemme know if you want to Trade with me. ^_^

WEBCOMIC STATUS:

GSG YEAR THREE: I finished up chapter 5 in my sketchbook and began writing the first pages of Chapter 6 which is the first fight with Ethan and 's characters Alexis White and Nene the Kaze Kitsune so the actual tournament fighting will begins once Chapter 5 is finished. Along with the fight, the official fighting brackets will be shown so you can see which of your OC's will be fighting who. As of right now, there are 14 pages left until Chapter 6 begins so I'll get these storyline pages over and done with soon.

GSG YEAR ONE: This one is still in Chapter 4 and getting the less attention, but this comic too shall be done. I'm not done writing out Ch 4 yet since I've been racking my brain on the other comic ARC. There are still quite a few things going on her which will set up the overall points of this story. The main one being Toumeya meeting up with Ethan and the two become "partners in crime". Ethan will meet her, play a joke on Miyuki only to have it backfire, and get ready for the long boat trip to rescue Miyuki's parents Isaac and Jenna, but that itself is still a ways off. This chapter will also go into Ethan's backstory a bit mainly focusing on the lack of parental guidance he gets from his folks Felix and Emma.
