I have a job. It is project based which means I do not get paid like every week or even every 2 weeks. I get paid when I do a photoshoot. The first shoot is Tuesday. I am freelancing, so basically I will do other things as well. But currently I am doing photos for Intrepid Design in Greenville.

I am still working out. Still going for losing 100 pounds. I have lost 7 last time I checked, but it may be more this week. I have lost 3 inches on my waist and hips. I am still eating healthy as well. Yay.

I did get my license. Most of you already know though. lol. I am sharing mom's car. It pretty much sucks. I really want a car but my dad is being really silly about it. He won't even go look, and he won't let me go with him if he does. He has not told me how much he is going to spend or anything. He wants me to sign for it, but it obviously isn't going to happen anytime soon. It would be good to have a car since I have a lot of meetings and I have photoshoots to do. So I am pretty frustrated. I look at cars online all the time, but everytime I ask my dad about it he won't really talk about it. So I really have no idea what is going on. *sigh* I mean if we can't afford it all he has to do is say that. He said he would get me a car if I paid the insurance and I have been saving money for that. So basically I am confused here.

I would actually like to go to Animazement this year, but I can't really do that if I don't have a car. Though I do have a place to stay for free if I do go. Which is nice.

I am still living at home. Most of the time it is fine, but sometimes I really hate it. I guess that is normal though. I have no privacy, the internet sucks, and I don't really like having all of my boxes of stuff in the garage, but no one wanted to get storage for it. Mostly I am fine here though. I really do still want to get my own place asap though. But again, that cannot be done with no car...and no stable income. I am saving most of the money I get for moving out and car insurance. But no car means niether of those. (can you tell I am really unhappy about the no car thing?)

I saw Coraline in 3D. It was so awesome. omg. lol. After missing a lot of movies I wanted to see, it was nice to see a movie for a change.

I go to Greenwood about once a month. To visit friends and stuff. I would go more often if I had a car.

I am addicted to excersise. That is a magical. lol.

I love Spore. I had been playing Maggie's copy, but I ordered my own copy along with the new pack of more parts. Yay. lol

I think I am running out of things to say...

Today in photography, the class took a field trip, to a graveyard. This was a very old graveyard. Now, I usually don’t go walking around in graveyards, so I wasn’t sure what I would feel about this, or during it. Usually people associate graveyards with negative things. That is understandable. The thing that struck me was the number of infant graves. Now by infant graves I mean tiny grave stones that say "infant" and have a date of birth and a date of death. Some said a little more than that, but they had no names. So as I was taking photos, I began to think a lot. I came to the conclusion that the "infant" graves were stillborn babies. Because if they had been born alive, they would have most likely been given names, even if they died soon in their lives. There were also several baby graves. Most of these did have names because the baby had lived for a few months, or even a year, and then died. Keep in mind, almost all of these baby graves and infant graves were very old. One of these graves had a small angel statue on it, several had lambs on them, and some were nothing but plain stones that said "infant". Many of the baby and infant graves said things like "Sleeping sweetly". Some of the baby graves had stone outlines behind the gravestones that were only a foot or two long, the size a baby casket might be. The most astonishing part of my visit here was a series of graves in a family plot. The plot was fenced in but you could walk into it. Behind the larger gravestones were 4 infant graves. Every one of these was a child of the same couple. And next to those were 2 children graves who were around 11 or 12 when they died. I was struck hard by the infant graves. If my previous statement was indeed true, this couple had had 4 still-born babies. Now most of you are probably thinking that in my depressed state, this would have been the worst place to be. Normally I would have agreed with you. But I was shocked to find that I was in such a state of peace, and serenity that I felt like a different person. I was not worried, or scared. I was not hurt or sad. I was completely at peace. It was as if the peace the peoples' souls in this graveyard felt was all becoming a part of me in that graveyard. Of course I felt a certain sadness when I saw infant graves and baby graves, but over all, I felt so peaceful. Maybe I should visit old graveyards more often. Another odd thing I felt was an overwhelming sense of company. Like I wasn’t alone. Of course, students from my class were also in the graveyard, so technically I wasn’t alone there, but I don’t mean that. I mean something else was with me there. And it made me feel totally calm and peaceful. Before I left the graveyard, I picked a handful of flowers and sat them on top of one of the infant stones. I didn’t want to leave.

So this is my story of today's field trip.

Ok ok, most of you are probably going "Well, duh. You do it all the time, you are in school for it, and you want to be a professional photographer"

But it seems that it is more complicated than that. You see, I have always had the worst time getting motivated to do anything. Even those things I enjoy. I just have always struggled to start anything and see it through. Take Dance for instance. I loved it, but I never wanted to go to dance class. I wanted to be lazy. Or Gymnastics. I loved it, but I quit after 4 years for no reason other than I wasnt motivated to go. I have always hated being so unmotivated to do anything. It makes me seem lazy, and makes me look like I have no ambition.

But...now I have found something that I love AND am motivated to do. I have been this way about photography for years and just now realised it. It isnt just something that is a hobby, or something I do when I am bored. No, on the contrary, I HAVE to do it. There have been several nights that I have not been able to sleep because all I can think of is what to photograph next. Ideas flood my head all the time. And when they start, I cannot do anything else until I get my camera and take photos. I have become an avid and active user on DeviantArt because of it. I am always on there, talking about art, and photography. Always encouraging others, and being inspired. I think I have found my passion, my calling. I feel so complete and happy when I am taking photos, and even when I am editing them. Even working in the Darkroom feels amazing. All the time. I am not lazy about photography. I want to learn more about it. I always want to learn more about it. I constantly try new things with it. I honestly think that I can make a career out of this and be HAPPY with my job. And for once, I am excited about the future.

Thanks to all of you who have inspired me and helped me.

I hate CSS, btw. Ignore my ugly journal. I am getting CSS made custom for me. I hope anyway. If it isnt too expensive. I actually love this CSS I have, but I obviously messed it up somehow and the top and bottom images arent working. And I dont feel like fixing it.

Why? Well because I did not feel they were worthy. I didn't think they could be considered art. Basically, they were just no good.

I am going home tomorrow after I go to the doctor. I won't go into detail about why I am going to the doctor, but I am really scared about it. I decided to go stay at home for a few days instead of coming back to my apartment.

Also, I am bringing my camera, and have several ideas for new shots. I plan on having new stuff when I get back, so look out for that.


Oh I almost forgot! I just entered the National Geographic International Photography Contest! Wish me luck!!

I got cable today. I am happy. I can watch all my favorite shows and educational programs! I am such a nerd.

I havent finished anymore charms lately. I have kind of put them on hold. I have several that need painting and glazing. If anyone has idea for charms I could make, that would be awesome. My boyfriend wants me to make him a couple of Star Wars related ones. They take a lot of patience. I don't have much of that. lulz.

Also, I am very excited about my digital photography class next semester. It is being taught by a true master. He has been in National Geographic a couple of times, and is pretty famous around my state. Here is his site [link] go check it out. He is a really nice guy, his studio is rockin awesome. I am so happy that I will get to learn from him!

I dont know. I just thought people would like my new stuff a lot more.

I know I have some improving to do, I am not perfect, and I am always learning.

I hate feeling this way.

People comment that my stuff is good but they dont fave it, does that mean its just not good enough? I try to visit thumbshare often to show my work, but it just never seems to be good enough. Maybe I expect too much of myself.

I did get 4 new watchers...I think...today. So I guess it's not so bad. I just wish more people would visit my gallery

i am graduating June 3rd.
I still have exams that are next week (bleh)

And i have a research paper due next week too.
the topic was our choice.
figures id pick jeffery dahmer.
5-7 pages mla format double spaced.

for those who didnt know....i got life scholarship ($5000 a year) and i got a scholarship for my artwork($500 a year)

i submitted a portfolio and was one of the few they chose for the money.

today i went to the hospital to get a cathater ablation done on my heart. They thought i had tachacardia but it seems i dont.
here is what they did to me -.- :

1.I filled out paper work
2.i waited
3.i put on a gown and waited
4.she came to give me an IV(im scared shitless of needles)
and couldnt find a vain.So, she stuck me once and missed it, and she got another nurse to try....and when she stuck me for the second time,i passed out and stopped breathing.Then i woke up and she did it again(she was digging around in my arm with the damn thing) and she still didnt find one. the last time she tried my other hand and finally it worked.
5.i waited
6.she came to get me for the procedure
7.they put me on this table and tied my arms down and gave me oxygen.
8.she gave me the funny medicine.
9.i woke up in the other room
10.i slept for a while
11.she checked the hole in my leg for bleeding
12.she made me walk aroung and go pee.
13.i got dressed
14.i went home

well i hope you enjoyed reading about my nightmare.

i cant go back to school for another 3 days.

he had told me before that he didnt feel the same about me, so we have been good friends for a long time.
Ive known him since elementary school.

even though i knew he didnt have those kind of feelings for me....i didnt want to see him with another girl or hear about it.

i cried my eyes out today.

the good thing is that they dont go out and he wants to wait a few years before going out with her because she is 14 and he is 18.

i guess thats good.
but she still goes to his house and still sits with him at lunch.

she was on AIM today with his Sn and she was very rude to me.....that upset me alot too.

oh well.....my life has reached an all time low.
