These past few daysÂ.the most expensive time of year, I came to realize just how much Christmas can cost. Having no help from my parents no loans to save our ass. Its been hard, but i wouldnt change a thing. This experiance has tought me alot!

I feel more independent than ever, and let me tell you! there is no better feeling. I never ever thought in my wildest dreams that i would be able to do all that ive done. IÂve went from having my mum and dad doing eveything for me to being completely on my own! no in between my friends.. I clean, cook (badly), save, be resposable, watch my money, pay bills and even study full time.. I just feel like ive accomplished so much ^^ I would have been crazy to leave with my parents. IÂm so happy where my life is right now. I have everything i could ever want! Family, great friends, an educationÂ..aÂwellÂ.life haha

Of course i miss my familty very much and hearing from them makes things harder but ultimately i think i made the right decision. I guess what i am trying to say is i love my life, and this Christmas has made me realize how lucky i am to everything i have. I have alot to be thankful for

Wow these new deviantart groups are so awesome!, everything is so much easier now. You can upload your club deviations with a click of a button choosing which catagory you wish to upload. anndddd.... if anyone from the club see your pic and like it they dont have to go down to the club deviation decription to get your icon to fav it from the original artists. If its clicked from the club it automatically goes to your gallery picture, So there is no more mess or confusion. I love it!
All that i need now is for my other clubs to join in lol.

Anyway enough about the excitment of new groups on deviantart, lets talk about Christmas and Uni :/

Christmas is slowly creeping up on ur. Tbh im shocked as to how quick it has come around this year. Last Christmas just seems not long ago. Another year has almost passed :/ wow! this is crazy lol
Anyways i'm looking forward to spending Christmas with my gran, aunts, uncles and cousins

Its been so long since we have had a big get together. Going to feel extreamly weird not having my dad here on Christmas day, seeing as ive never not seen him on Christmas day.. ever.. but i consider myself very lucky i still have some family to celebrate with during the Christmas season

I am currently writting my personal statement for Univercity :> its so damn hard

lol, i have no idea where to start lol... I hate computers but i am stuck here cause i didnt do an art course

Anyways back to my update! Been playing Aion for ages now i loveeeee it! you get wings and you can fly z about teehee.
Still working on Chrsitmas present Trying to find the time to colour is prooving difficult. Im having to write a personal statement for my Uni application *bites lip* Doing my head in cause there is so much to do, and on top of that i still have college work to get done :/
Thats my Christmas tree's up I have a real baby christmas tree in the living room and a big fake tree in my bedroom. I love Chrismtas soooo much Spending it with my gran, aunts and uncls this year, It will be nice to see them all again. Gonna be weird not spending Christmas with my mum, dad and little Brother but their happy in South Africa, and thats the main thing.
I have my own PC now! i still have my laptop of course but my pc is awesome! graphics are so good and i actually play games now xD

Just sitting in class at college, so bored...

Sorry i haven't uploaded anything in a while, been kinda busy with college : (

I cant wait till Christmas!
Im dying to put up my treeee _C: and buy, wrap presents! i just love Christmas its my favorite Holiday.
I'ts going to be weird not having my mum and dad around for Christmas though. This will be the first Christmas ive even spent without them :/
I have a fabulas idea for a present for Ryan and Hollie's present is already bought ^-^ just need to think of a clever way to wrap and preset their presents.
I hope Ryan gets me something nice ^-^ Bahahaha.

Currently sitting in my bed with a hot water bottle watching some old old fights in UFC. Such good fights. We're so romantic arent we xD hahahaha

Hopefully going ice skating 2moro, if im feeling better that is
If im not feeling better we will be going ice skating next week. Haven't been on the ice in sooo long! i bet the first time i try a jump or spin i'll fall on mah ass xD

OHH did i tell you? i went to a snowboarding lesson the other night XD it was amazing! i totally sucked but it was still amazing xD. It was a sorta spur of the moment thing, we both decided to go to Breahead shopping centre for a walk about and ended up going to Xcape for snowboarding! hahaha Ryan was amazing going down the huge snow slope on his skis i was very impressed! _C:

Im wonering if i am getting annoying by thanking you all the time for faving my art. I could see how that could get annoying lol.

I got a tattoo the other day! I'ts awesome i loveeeee it! Im scared of needles but i was apsolutly fine
It did hurt! and yes i did want to cry but i am so glad i desided to get it done.
I would post up the design but im to scared that someone else steals the idea and its no longer original so all i will say is its a tattoo of a butterfly, black no colour and its on my lower back to the left side. its rather itchy at the moment D: but it looks so pretty. Its not big at all in fact its about 4cm long and wide, But its exactly what i wanted
Cost me about Â£70 which is not to bad

OMG! you wont believe the morning i had!!!!!

Was going to enjoy a nice sleep in and relaxing day thinking i was starting college on the 7th and got a text at about 9! saying that i was supposed to be in college 2day! sooooo......
I emidiatly got dressed and walked to the bank to draw money to get the train or the bus, got to the bank went to draw money and my pin was working till i asked to draw 10 pound and it said i had the wrong pin!!! wtf!! so i thought i would go in and see if they could help me! but guess what the bank doesnt open till 10 on a wednesday!! so i was like standing there...should i wait or walk it......

Me and Ryan just bought two baby degus from the pet store! There so cute i loveeee them. We have wanted a pair of these furry critters for quite a while now and im so glad we had the money to get them XD
There sleeping on top of one another as we speak ^^ there so cute!!!
If you duno what Degus look like heres a pic [link] ours are alot smaller tho ^^
There fur looks realy course and brittle but in actuall fact they are as soft as hamsters They take little dust baths everyday

Okay well thats me all packed and sorted sort of... 2Moro is the BIG move, me and Ryan start out by waking up rather early to go to our estate egent to pick up the keys and pay the rest of the money, then walking back home to start moving
boxes from the house to the new flat. One busy ass day 2moro.
Yup so thats me away for hopefully a short while. I really hope we get out internet back soon but i really dont know how long it will be. I can use Ryan's iphone to check some messages and stuff. So yeah miss you all loads but just remember im not fully offline im just not gonna be on the whole day as per usual lol

Well thats me packing like a mad woman, i never knew how much crap i had till i had to go through everything in my room. I hav stuff i never even knew i had LOL
Well i have some hopefully bad news for all my amazing deviantart watchers out there i am gonna be gone for a while. Me and Ryan hav just sat and did the math for the flat :S in totall all our bills come to Â£760 a month. So we have sort of desided that we are just gonna leave our luctures till we have a proper income. Which means no more internet for a couple of weeks and no phone either I will get to check my page every now and again at college of course, so please dont forget about me.

Me and Ryan plan to move in our new flat on the 30th of this month so i hav tons of work to do till then *crys* I hav also packed away my lovely printer and scanner haha which it is not happy about.

Anyways i shall see ya whn i see ya and i will keep you all posted with the happenings

Yay! Finally we found out flat! its so pretty and cute ^^
I'm so happy
We have paid the depost and we are paying the first months rent on Friday.

Me and Ryan desided that we will wait till the day my parents need to be out the house their renting at the moment before we move out, cause that way its just a case of moving everything from there house to our new flat. My parents are sleeping over for a day or two before they leave for the airport to South Africa. Its gonna be scary to see them go, and im gonna miss them so much, but im really happy i am getting my own little flat with my loving finace.

So in a sense i am extatically happy and rather sad.

Well hai again!

I just had to write a journal today manily because im stuck at college for lunch waiting on my lecturer to get back from her lunch break
I'm so ecxited because in a couple of days time im going to be 18! This is a HUGE deal to me because:

Yes thats right i now have two new obsessions lol, Chung Li is just amazing i am
obsessed with her lol all the art here on dA is truly amazing I am just so amazed with some if the talent here on deviantart there are so many amazing artist, Oh my other obsession :excitedL is hello Kitty lol She is just sooo cute. So i went into a stationary shop the othet day in town and seen a nice little shelf of hello kitty stuff( i wanted it all) thankfully Ryan was there to stop me from buying the whole shelf (im not a crazy woman when it comes to shopping ) lol. So i now have a hello kitty yeddy bear, earrings, charm, two notebooks, pen, pencil oh and a folder file lol that is alot of Hello Kitty stuff and believe me the obsession wont end there lololol

College

I decided to get a subscription
and i am so happy that i did. I was starting
to get bored with dA So this is awesome!
College is just getting on my nerves now.
I hate having to wake up to go into class.

I got a pink digital camera from Ryan(my fiance)8.2 megapixals so the qualitly is way better than my stupid phones camera. I have been trigger happy since i got it lololol following ryan about taking pictures it was fun
I had so much fun at his mums house for dinner i enjoyed getting to know my future mother in law. All thats left is new Years now isn't it

Wow it's getting closer to christmas and i still have no idea what to get my fiance lol. Could you give me some ideas people i need help with this... i want to get him something meaningful as well as a present

I have got my engagment ring resized it was 3 and a half sizes to big for me and because the possitioning of the stones they didn't want to risk it i could only get it sized one and a half size down so it is still a bit big but im happy it fits my finger perfectly when i am warm which is rare in Scotland lol
It's getting pretty cold is scotland now and it's starting to feel more like christmas.
I love Glasgow at christams time we have a huge christmas tree at gourge square and we also have the lights which get turnned on soon and the outdoor ice rink will be put up too, i will hopefully get some pictures for you all to see just how beautiful it is
Anyways that is about it i guess

I was shakin like crazy lolol and Ryan's mum was crying and so was i.... this is by far the most amazing night of my life....Look at the pictures!!!!!!!!

Anyways the first test i did was on different computer file types and what they do and what they are used for(movies.mov ect...) i got 50% for this test so i failed i needed 60% to pass

The second test was on computer calculations, compressing computer ratios, and video and audio i will give u a sum and let you see how hard it was ok i got 100% for this test believe it or not ---

Calculate how large the following digital video will be.
a)240 by 180
b)24bit
c)25 frames
d)2 seconds
e)22.05kHz, 16bit, Sterio sound
Here is my calculation--

Video
=240*180*24/8*25*2
=129,6000 bytes*25*2
=12.6k*25*2(bytes converted to K-divide by 1024)

Sound
-22,050*(16/8)*2*2
=176,400 bytes
172.266 k (bytes converted to K-divide by 1024)

add video ans sound together
=6,00.266k
=6.348MB
and that was only one calculation. lol
ow my brain hurts!

The last test i did was on logic gates,
i got 80% pass for this one

Ever time i feel like i can fly they clip my wings.
Whenever i talk to them about maybe allowing me some breathing space they give me a huge lecture about how they are right and i am wrong.
Not only that, my boyfriend is getting a flat with his mates. which is so great Im am really happy but i am sad also cause i know that i will never be allowed to even go to his house. He works a lot now so he can pay rent. So the only time i get to see him are when we are at college and i only meet him at lunch for and hour. I wish that my dad was ALOT less protective of me.
1. Im not allowed to go to his house
2. Im not allowed to have the door closed in my room when we are both in there even when we are studying.
3. I need to be home before 6 in the afternoon
4. Ryan is not allowed to take his top off when he is over
5. Im not allowed to go anywhere by myself, not even to the the shop right across the road from us.
6. My dad still finds it nessesary to wait at the bus stop that i get off of to meet me after college even thought the bus stop is like 5 min away from our house.
7. I'm not allowed to go to Ryans mum's house.

Those are just some of the rules that i am to follow
I don't know how much longer i can take his over protectiveness.
I just want to say to him to back off and leave me alone so i can live my own life with out any of him rules. How can he think he is a good parent. It's like my house is a padded cell. I can't stand staying in the same house with him.
Everyone i talk to tells me the same thing... have you tried talking to them. But i can't they wont even let me express my feelings towards the situation. They know better and i have no say. They are always right and I'm always wrong thats what they think. I just wish my parents were mean enough to chuck me out the house lol then i would move in with my boyfriend and him mates lol.
AHHHHH!!!!!! am i the only one on the planet that has parents like these. I feel so alone
