Anyway I got around to scanning/photographing a couple of pieces. I have a couple paintings from my class last semester still to get around to and then other various....things.

My drawing teacher showed us this really cool high contrast thing today in class, think maybe I might do one. Anyone have any ideas who I should do one of? I was gonna do one in honor of Syd Barret, but I think I'll save that for class. Bowie, anyone? Hmm....

It was really funny because after our first competition we went to the mall near our second one for dinner and I, my boyfriend, his mom, and a couple of our friends ended up eating in the same chinese restaurant as the directors so when they got the results they came over and we all started jumping and doing happy dances haha. We got weird looks lol but it was lots of fun.

But I am still all pooped out and my weekend is gone...haha I got a picture up of my school project...I has to go finish coloring my sketch for our next one. I'll try my hardest to get that up tomorrow....

Anyway.....not a whole lot has been going on. What was left of Ike hit Sunday night and the winds were pretty band....most of the county (well most of Ohio come to think of it) lost power and a lot of it's still out, so we didn't have school yesterday and today...hope it's not as band of a winter as they're saying it's going to be, we only get 5 calamity days before we have to start making them up on Saturdays...blagh.

Haha 'member that painting I said would be up soon? ....it's very close to being done Haha I just kinda stopped working on it...but as a reward for being so patient (haha like you've all been glued to my page ) there's gonna be two...I have one that I had to do for school that I need to finish today. I promise. lol.

Things are starting to get a little crazy again...it's crunch time before its back to school...

Let's see...I have an english assignment left, an entire packet of calculus work, 5 hours of community service for NHS...and marching band practice every night! Woopie I'm packed lol

Anyway I'm almost finished with the watercolor I've been working on...I just have the sky left to do, so as long as I get the time to work on it I think I'm going to, it will probaby be up in the next couple of days. I'm sooo happy with the way it looks right now

My world is complete!! So many more buttons to push!!!

Yes...got it installed...played around with it...have no clue what I'm doing...of course I went STRAIGHT for the pen tool

On a less...happy...note I started doing a digital sketch of the painting I want to start and it isnt looking as impressive as it did in my head. Soooooo I'm not sure what I'm going to do now....but I'm kinda used to that Things always look impressive in my head lol

Maybe I'll keep going with the sketch and post it that way you guys can help me figure out how to fix it

Anyway, we went to Dawes today to take some pictures of the flowers that are blooming, and surpisingly a got a ton of good ones! It must have been my lucky day....

So expect to be flooded with flowers here sometime soon and I should be getting my artwork from school back soon too....

Anyway Wednesday evening we went back down to see the results, and I placed twice! My painting got me a 2nd place, and my charcoal otter (which also happens to be my Mother's Day present) got me a 1st! I was so surprised, it really made my week lol

I don't know when we get our drawings back but when we do I'll be sure to put up pictures

Congrats to - she got a 1st place too!! Yay Jessica!! lol
