I agree with her comment about wanting good, "fantastic" comments... but she took it too far. I think she should be glad that someone actually takes the time to say something on her work, because to be honest, with THAT kind of attitude, she doesn't deserve it. Artists MUCH better than her don't get the kind of comments they want, they get one liners. SO WHAT? And then she goes around through all those posts and makes herself seem like the best artist that ever was. >_> Pshaw. That's just a load of crap. I"m not fully qualified to comment on this, but I will. (isn't that why you put it here in the first place.) I would have to say, first, is she drawing the art because she wants to.. or if she wants to get the reactions. I'm not an artist, I'm a writer, musician.. etc. I do most of the things for myself, and as a side point, I put them out there on the net. Second, it seems that there is a little over reacting on both sides, maybe a little of "size envy" (don't know what I mean exactly, but that's what popped into my mind.) I would have to say that It's good that you both ended it and moved on. I don't know if there was a way to salavge it, and normally I'm very good salvaging things.. maybe time will help.

I hate one word comments. For cried sakes!! Do you guys really think that "lol." is an appropriate comment to leave on a piece of art worked so hard on?!

Listen, I work hours upon hours on every single one of my pieces, EVERY SINGLE ONE!! Unless I specify otherwise.
WHY is it that I keep getting such cheap comments the harder I work?!
I don't care if you're on my specials list, that gives you NO EXCUSE!! As a matter of fact, if you're on my specials list, you should KNOW how much I hate them.

I sit day after day, deviation after deviation, comment after comment getting more and more angry from being given such unthought out comments. Why is it so hard to type up what you like about the picture?

Okay, what makes it such a "Nice" picture? Is it the color scheme? Poses? Expressions? The idea in itself? The way I drew it? The angle? Is it unique? Is it comedic? How about some critique?
NO. I never get any of this, with exception of a few VERY VERY nice people who actually take the time to type up some pretty sweet comments that, up until now, have kept me at bay. Thanks to you select few<3

Art is the way I express myself. Whether it's funny, sad, dramatic, happy, cutesy, mean, WHATEVER....I am expressing my visions, my ideas, my feelings, my VOICE.
Does anyone know how it feels to not be heard?! When people leave me shitty comments like that, it feels like they don't get me. Like they don't even know what's going on. They're just saying stuff because they feel obligated or they want to be nice.

...Ok, Bianca.... I agree about the "one-word" comments....They are kind of rude, and it shows that the people don't care too much about your, mine or anyone else’s art. But to be completely honest.... at lest you get them..... I work hard to on ALL of MY pictures as well. But you don’t see me complain when I DON’T get comments. Yet you have the nerve to complain when you get “one-word” comments.

....Furthermore you complain when you get comments that don’t give criticism, and you complain when you get comments that actually HELP. But no, you seem to NOTto want criticism. You want praise....someone to pick out each thing you find most attractive in your picture. Art isn’t always flowers and candy, you take what you get like it or not.

.... An artist should take on all comment, both good and bad.

And you know what? That's your problem. You can accept those one-word comments all you want, but I'm not having it. I KNOW in my heart I deserve more. I work too hard. WAY too hard.
Errors usually don't get by me, and if they do, I've attempted to correct them too many times, so I just gave up.

You know that FLCL picture? My most recent one? I've completely drawn it over, TWICE. The first one didn't capture my vision, so I started over. That ment that the WHOLE DAY I spent sketching the first one went to waste because it wasn't want I was thinking. So I spent a whole other day sketching another one. 2 WHOLE DAYS dedicated to one simple picture.

"Good" isn't "good" enough of a comment for that.

Like I've said before, I'd rather get no comments than "nice" ones. So don't go preaching to me about "At least you get them"
