Next on the list of uploads is a few pictures from a benefits show we (Ground Level)put on for two members who lost their son just before he turned two. Only had Johns 10-17mm lens so don't plan on uploading a ton fish eye photos. After that will be the photos from the second Blue Angels trip, and then Rod Run 2009, of which also wont be a lot from either. One cause the weather sucked and cause only had Johns 10-17mm again.

But I am in the market for another camera again. Selling/trading my Nikon D70 for a new laptop. Little faster then the one I have now, but loaded with some sweet graphics software . Looking for a Nikon D80 or a D90. The D70 had a few issues I wasn't happy with so time for an upgrade.

Woke up to find the river behind the campground where were had risen a good little bit from a lot of rain running down from the mountains. Didn't help with steady and sometimes pouring rain both on the way up and back. But the return trip brought some serious flooding to south Tennessee and north Georgia. More on that later.

Other things, been building on a Tamiya Knight Hauler just like what John and Josh have and just finished it up about a week ago. So its ready for the trip to Tennessee as well. I'll be posting a few pics of it on here in the next day or so as well. Had a few small issues but thankfully got those fixed before we leave. Well think thats about it for now. Its back again for a second year, Motorsports Nationals! Coming to Atlanta Sept. 19th and 20th at the Atlanta Motor Speedway! Had a good turn out last year and looking for an even bigger one this year! There is going to a lot more stuff to do this year, more classes (Hot Rods, Classics, Motorcycles, Trucks, Exotics, Imports...), live shows, BURNOUT competition, BIKINI contest, TRACK CRUISE, STUNT shows, and DRIFTING returns! In other news, made it to Spring Rod Run back in April and that was a blast. Might have to make that another yearly trip for us to go on again. Then went to the lake over Memorial Day weekend which made for some fun. Couldn't get on the water much but did get the 4 Wheelers out and went mudding. I managed to get stuck to the point of 4wd not working.

And bought another car, 2000 Ford Escort ZX2 S/R, and now thinking of selling my other car but still don't know.

Also finally decided I'd get started working on my car again. For those of you don't know the story about I'll give the brief version. Met a guy that I was gonna paint my car and do some stuff to make it look pretty bad ass in return get him customers. But after awhile of him taking to long and slacking off on my car, and many phones calls saying I needed, he decided to walk around the car, WITHOUT taping off any off the lights, mirrors, windows or even the tires, that he'd walk around it and just spray it in primer. Scratched the hell out of my mirrors and called it overspray, BS. But needless to say I picked up all my paint supplies I dropped off and took the car back. So now I've been slowing going over the car resanding it, and fixing all the f-ups he did. So thats why you haven't seen any recent photos of the car. But after this upload I might add a few of what it looked like and what all I've done so far.

On another note of my Hatchie, I got the title for it so its officially mine. And before that happened, got pulled over for Blue 10K HIDs on the morning of the Super Bowl. Cops were looking for something to do at 6:30 in the morning then. But if all goes well hopefully soon it'll finally painted and possibly bagged, if I don't trade it for a bagged truck.

Also have a few new random photoshop projects that I'll upload soon too!

Ok think thats about it, bunch of random rants but hey its me. And I wish I would've gotten to go to Vegas with John and Josh the other day, but had to work. And next week...... jury duty..... yay. Feel my excitement?

Then this past weekend was the first ever Motorsports Nationals in Atlanta which replaced Nopi Nationals that went under earlier this year. For the first show it wasn't to bad. Went through a list of stuff last night and I've got roughly 2000 photos to go through and decide what to upload. Currently uploading old pictures from a few Summit Shows and then a long list of shows to go through. So for now thats it.

Been wanting to go to that show for years but this is a good reason to miss it. But on the side of things. Car blew another head gasket today so I've got to get that fixed before I can do much of anything. Not to mention finish the body work to get it painted and sold. Next project will either be a S-10, Ranger, Tacoma, or Nissan Hardbody that I plan on droppin on bags. Always wanted one and now its time to start lookin. Well I think thats about it for now, pretty sure I'll remember something later on. Oh well. Night guys.

Now this week. Got a phone call Monday morning at 6:30 AM from my girlfriend and I knew something wasn't right. 1. Cause it was 6:30 in the morning and shes never up that early, and 2. by her voice. A great friend of mine who I've only known for a few months was in a motorcycle accident late Sunday night. He was running from the cops of his bike, I know not smart but please do say anything about that, and lost control of his bike. One that he didn't walk away from. He was only 20. His ex-girlfriend was at my girlfriends house when I got there, devastated by the news. I didn't know how to take, to be honest, I still don't. I lost a great friend that morning. Matt Riner, I miss you buddy and just wish that you didn't have to go. I'll miss you, Nina will miss you, we all do. See again sometime bud. Just keep an eye on us. Especially Nina who needs you the most.

What is really getting me, another good friend mine had a motorcycle accident about a month ago when his bike laid over and hit a fire hydrant. He was lucky and only broke his leg and messed up his shoulder and back. He's doing better now, I'm always checking in on him, making sure he's alright. But just the fact of having that happen so soon to another friend is just tearing me up. So just keep us in your thoughts.

For the rest of the week, I leave Wednesday morning, to get on a plane to West Virgina to go with Michelle for Thanksgiving. It'll be a first for me. First time away from home for Thanksgiving. I'll be fine and we'll be driving back Saturday to come home. So until then, its been a wild few weeks. Thanks for the thoughts!

Also been in for a fun weekend rebuilding the motor on my EG6. Blew the head gasket last week and finally got time today to get it rebuilt. Now the fun part, gettin it to start.
