I know this is a little late, but I feel like it needs to be said.

In short, Heath Ledger was my idol. If someone had asked me who my hero was a few days ago, he would not have been the first to come to my mind, maybe not even the second. But I know now that he was a true hero. Heath was an inspiration to actors, equality activists, and just people everywhere. I cannot begin to explain the level of pride I feel when I think about the courage it must have taken him to play the role that he did in "Brokeback Mountain". It is so nice to know that there are people out there who are willing to make personal risks and sacrifices just to show that they support a cause and to stand up for what is right. I know that the GLBT equal rights movement was not the first thing he had in mind when he agreed to co-star in the inspirational film, but he still inspired me and many other people to continue the fight. I feel a deep sorrow to know that there is one less person like Heath in the world today, especially since he was taken so soon from us. I am not a religious person, so I don't have a good explanation as to why he had to go so soon, but I know that he will never be forgotten. This seemingly random tragedy is one that will stay in our hearts and minds, and I know that the world is a slightly darker place without him. Heath Ledger was an inspiration and a beacon of hope in a world so wrought with hatred and war as ours, and that's why I will always remember him as a hero.

Lately I've been running into anti-yaoi clubs a lot. Now, I have nothing against people who don't like that sort of thing, but please people, just deal with it! All the comments are people complaining about how disgusting yaoi is, and yet the clubs claim that they are not anti-homosexual, just anti-yaoi! But all of this is unimportant, because anyone with any belief system in the world can all come together under the truth of one statement:

"Why u gotta b hatin?"

Seriously, I don't see any reason to even make a hate club. What starts as anti-yaoi can quickly escalate to anti-gay. This sort of thing is just good to avoid all together. So please, even if you are anti-yaoi or yuri, or anti-anything for that matter, don't join the groups. I'm not asking you to change your opinions, only to respect those of others.

So i finally got my new laptop (and no it's not christmas yet, but i opened it anyway!) and now i can surf the internet anywhere in my house! the only problem is that i sort of can't! so they tell you on th dell website that the anywhere wireless internet is free if you already hav the service, and my cell phone service is verizon. but my mother insisted that i get at&t, because we hav their internet service on our desktop and phones. the only problem is, at&t is the WORST internet service provider, and they tried to make a pay the same price for the laptop service we do for our desktop, with no special deals or anything even though we've been with them for almost two years now. so i'm stuck until my uncle comes to install our wireless on christmas day. right now im using my neighbor's wireless, but it keeps going off. grrrrrrrrrrr.........
