Sorry if you're feeling overwhelmed with the amount of cosplay photos I've been uploading. Honestly it's the only thing I have to show artistically until May (when I can reveal some other things I've been working on.) I got one of my photo shoot raw pictures back, one of them is my new dA ID, and that was from :iconReika-Mishima: who's an amazing and fun photographer! : D I choose a couple of pictures and he's going to edit them. I've just returned from Sakuracon 2012 and overall I had an okay time. Not my most favorite con. The panels were lackluster and we ended up leaving many of them early. They put the art gallery on the 2nd floor and vendors and artist alley on the 4th floor so no one visited the art gallery at all ( I didn't even break even on my lanterns sales compared to the money I spent for the slot in the gallery ). By the time con had ended 3/4s of the art that had been the in gallery was still there. I feel really bad for the artists this year who were in there. Update time! : D (Late and random like usual) I'm on Spring Break and life has been crazy busy. x.x; And it'll continue to be such for the next few weeks! Cosplays are stagnant right now. Just waiting for my clothes to come through for Madoka before I set up a photoshoot and just keeping my eyes open on Irelia. I have a con schedule for Sakura-con for outfits though - Thursday: Normal clothes. Friday: Mami Tomoe with one planned photoshoot so far. Saturday: Irelia. Sunday: Shia from Pita-Ten or normal clothes (depending upon how I feel and how soon we're leaving for home.)

So my Lux cosplay has been very complicated and time consuming as well as expensive so I've pushed it aside for now. First with an update on my Kog'Maw lantern. He's completely done BUT I lost my camera battery charger so I have all BUT the fully completed picture of him. D; So I've been searching like crazy since yesterday for it to no avail. I'm here to bring you many different things today so please bear with me as I go through them.

Just wanted to make a journal entry for this awesomeness!

I took :iconBrokenHAX: advice and did a speed build of me making one of my lanterns, the one chosen was Kirby! : D <3 And I think it came out pretty well. It took about 3.5-4 hours to do it all, make the lantern/film, import the video, edit it and add pictures, music, speed it up, export it, and then upload it onto Youtube but I think it was WELL worth it. >w< -is pretty excited and so she had to share her excitement with you all-

So yeah, I've been MIA for I don't know, like 2 weeks now? School is kicking my ass and I'm afraid I might fail a class, the first class I've ever failed. x.x; So I'm trying my hardest to concentrate on school which means my art gets left in the dust. : P We recently completed some masks in my art lab so I'll be uploading that as soon as my prof gives it back. I finally broke into my lanterns today and am setting them up, re-gluing, and cannibalism them. I've switched over to a hot glue gun in hopes of having the pieces stick for longer so we'll see how that goes.

Kumoricon was fantastic and I was surprised at some of the work I saw in the art show, not quite up to the standards I expected. Seeing that made me feel inspired to possibly show as Sakura con, what do you guys think?

So after a much longer hiatus than I ever planned to take I'm slowly creeping my way back on dA. This summer I've been working as a secretary for an office and I've worked through most of my assigned workload and have found that I still have free time so today I logged onto dA.
