Well, lately, I've been reading Godchild and Vampire Knight (at the same time, although I'm further in Godchild because it's just a bit better)... So when I finished the third volume of Vampire Knight, I decided to look up a little info on the anime, since I'd heard of it somewhere...

So I saw it. And it was CHEESY AS HECK. But the way it was dubbed beats those old kung fu movies. And it was dcent, at least. Ryuk was awesome. "Looks like you're in deep sh*t, Light."

My Chemical Romance woulda been a better fit for the song. "I Never Told You What I Do For A Living" fits DN to a "T"... I always hated the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but if any of their songs are good, it's "Dani California."

So I went with my best friend (dude) and cousin (girl). They texted the whole time....EACH OTHER...but hey, my mom liked the movie. Rofl.

And WHY am I the only one who thinks Ken'ichi Matsuyama, the dude who played L, is AWESOME?

And Naomi Misora isn't as naive in the movie. But they made Matsuda look like an idiot. And the guy who plays him isn't even cute.

And the bonus stuff was boring. But we got to see L bowing repeatedly for getting flowers. Rofl.

OH! For all Near fans who might have been disappointed that he and Mello aren't in the films, I found out that he's in "L Change the WorLd"... But he's that little boy you see in the trailers, so he has black hair... I've also read that the movie was originally before the Kira case, when L worked with Naomi (HECK YEAH. BEYOND BIRTHDAY FTW). But it's about a bioterroist group and the last 23 days of L's life (a rather DRAMATIC change in tone, I might say). Not a spoiler if you're seen the trailer, so no chewing me out.

After watching that... I feel inclined to write LxLight. There's something I haven't done in a while. XD And the AU plot bunny has the potential to be ADORABLE. You see, Light and L meet... Wait, why am i telling y'all? XD

But I have hardly wanted to strangle Light so much as I did when I saw the last scene, with his girlfriend and Naomi. You can kill everyone close to you, Light, but that was HORRIBLY sick. Even by your standards. In the manga, I could always respect him, at least. But that was awful.

And how dare you kiss her in public.

And, yeah. I want to know what YOUR opinion of the movie was. But I'll just start a poll. Personally, I'd say it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. But it was still effing hilarious and made a joke out of the manga.

Today was frustrating in a good way.
Because now I have some actual motivation to, like...do stuff.

This is a journal, so now I will journal.

You know how whenever you had a fire drill in elementary school, you would think about how you'd probably never have a REAL fire? And how by middle and high school, you wanted it to be for real so the school would burn down?

Today our air conditioner overheated and started smoking. One-third of our power was gone when a line near the fire department burnt out. The "drill" started during a French quiz. And I, being brilliant and thinking that it was really only a drill, did not bring my cellphone.

NOES, SAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's not dead yet, but we couldn't go back to the school to get him, so I'm...worried. Other notable items still in the yellow zone inclue Death Note VOLUME 12, Loveless 3, and Loveless 5. And my only Bible, but I don't really know so much about the importance of that anymore. (I don't read it anyway. >_>

So, basically, here I am. We got out of class.

In other news, the anime for Ouran High School Host Club is crazy addictive. I like the manga better, obviously. (I even joined the Egotistic Club. I'm such a dedicated Hatori Bisuko fan. ) But, like... The anime is really pretty. The contact scene in the episode with Renge isn't as good, but eh. Now I've actually found two decent incest pairings. And they're both yaoi. (I know I'm a sicko, so shut it.) Well, by episode seven you should know what I mean.

And by the way...

Haruhi and Tamaki were made for each other. He is a feminine guy, and she is a masculine girl. So either they're both gay and my whole argument is null, or they really are meant for one another.

At any rate...ja ne! I'ma go watch some more~!

Because I nearly had a heart attack when I heard Mello and Near's voices. Kira's out to get me!!

I'm re-watching the episode on Veoh now. Is it just me, or does Mello sound a little like Aston Kutcher?

And Near's voice, on the other hand, IS REALLY AWESOME. I like it better than the Japanese one, even. I seriously fangirled, haha.

And Roger sounds like....Martin from Oblivion.

Mello has a great voice actor. He's good. But he DOES NOT. FIT. MELLO. NOES! I freaked out anyway, becasue Mello is Mello and deserves his credit.

Now I'm just listening to it and typing. I can even recognize all of their voices... LAWL, not that it's hard.

Review: Ah, one of the few classics I like. I never thought I'd like a book read in class (The Outsiders, Julius Caesar, and I Am the Cheese are excluded; I love those), but I actually liked it. It's about the Scopes trial. Controversial-ness: Should evolution be taught in schools? I think it AND creation should be taught. But I'll be writing a persuasive essay for class, and I must take one side or the other. No in-between. I can't be neutral.....

Eh, forget the kiriban. There's no point in telling you that the next person to show me a screencap of my page gets a free sketchie. Maybe I should have waited for more watchers.

In other news, I performed two skits last night. Had the lead role in the second. Ohoh, I got a stoREE! It's about me making an idiot of myself. Nobody's really gonna read it, so I can to my 's content. Maybe it'll take my mind off of the baka I'm texting. (He was docile when my cousin and I sent him the most annoying texts for two hours, but when I refuse to tell him the color of my DRESS for spring formal / big dance / Prom, he flips on me. And yet he says that he STILL CAN'T GET MAD AT ME. WHAT IF I LIKE PAIN? We so aren't compatable.) Okay, so I was practicing my rambling, breathless "monologue" for the first skit with my friend, who was there because she was performing in the band. And after I finished the first time, she nodded. "Now you just have to add people." Keep in mind that she has no way of knowing about my slight abnormality in sexuality (AS IF THAT IS AN ABNORMALITY! it so iz nawt), so there's no way she could have possibly dragged my crush out on purpose. (Knowing her, she would have confronted me if she even had a hunch.) So I start rambling, and I start making up lines because my brain has officially died because I was short of breath due to nervousness and so much talking and here she comes and I'm just completely red in the face. And so she starts backing away, and my friend turns to her and she's like "You look scared..." And I stop and I'm like "It's supposed to be kinda scary..." And the girl with the lead role in the first play informed me of my face's color. Well, I had to tell someone. Hi, journal. But on the bright side, I was really red onstage, so she may not connect it to the fact that she was watching. Review: Ah, one of the few classics I like. I never thought I'd like a book read in class (The Outsiders, Julius Caesar, and I Am the Cheese are excluded; I love those), but I actually liked it. It's about the Scopes trial. Controversial-ness: Should evolution be taught in schools? I think it AND creation should be taught. But I'll be writing a persuasive essay for class, and I must take one side or the other. No in-between. I can't be neutral.....

I got the evil teacher's class. It's a computer course, y'know? And he's evil. I had him last year and the year before that. Fortunately, the school year will end before he can do any real damage to our hopes and dreams, huh?

I have evidence suppoting my claim that Wal-Mart is the certer of all evil. We bought an iTunes gift card. The thing didn't scan all the way. When we took it back...they were EVIL! After approximately half of an hour, we got a new one. So now I'm listening to pretty musics.

I'm also annoyed at both of my best guy friends. One, because he keeps freakin' insulting homosexuals and, indirectly, bisexuals. (I almost told him my dirty little secret, but decided he'd never be able to keep it. Ahaha.) The other because he still thinks he loves me. (I've been in his positon, dangit! Can't he take a hint and quit stalking?)

LAWL, the place where I live never pops up on my visitor map. Unless it seriously thinks I live in Dallas, Texas. They do say "y'all" there, though... The similarities end there.

So, I forgot to ask. What do the people who have stuck through my ranting so far think of my new journal layout? I'm pretty dang proud of this picture.

Speaking of mouseart, in the evil teacher's computer class; I was drawing Gaara with emo hair. Yes, I need to jack him from the school computers with mah jump drive! It covers the kanji on his forehead, because...when I was drawing the emo guy, I thought I was drawing a non-descript emo guy. LAWL. Then he kinda got the bags around his eyes.
Back to the point. While I was drawing him, some guys peeked over my shoulder and were all like, "You can draw!" And I'm thinking, "Nerds can't have hobbies, too?" Then one of them asked me an interesting question...

Poor guy. Then again, he has a point. What proof do we have that this is the REAL life? Awe, I'm done making fun of him. Review: Cute for a children's cartoon. A little cheesy compared to anything I normally watch, but it was at least interesting enough that I won't rant about how ugly non-anime cartoons seem to me now. No, I'm not being racist. For those of you who don't know, White Day is a holiday in Japan. Converse of Valentine's Day. See, for V-Day, the girls give guys gifts. Then on March 14, the guys return their gratitude with something, well, white. (Mentioned in Furuba, but my love of the holiday originated from the first manga and anime I ever saw: DN Angel! I wanted a white ribbon, but nobody besides my cousin likes that manga. ) ANYWAY, so while we had this ridiculous Pi Day celebration in geometry (L would have ADORED that strawberry pie mah best buddy made; that thing was pure sugar), I was wishing people a happy St. White's Day. And they were lookin at me funny. I explained it a lot. Haha.

The manga is called Only the Ring Finger Knows, it's short (four chapters lumped together in two sets of two, adding up to 104 pages not counting the afterwords), and it's absolutely addictive. I couldn't stand to be torn from it! Predictable plot twists, except the one on the left side of page 43 of what they label as the second chapter, but adorable nonetheless. I flipped Tamaki-style at that exception.

I feel like I should say something else. I have to say three things, or it isn't worth a journal entry for me. So... I borrowed Kingdom Hearts from my cousin again. Maybe I'll actually finish this time. Heck, I'm only on Wonderland.

So ANYWAY, I have a bet with this guy I know. Now I suppose I withheld necessary info, but he took the bet.

I told him that I had gotten manga after going to Borders. And he asked what manga, so I told him. And I said that I was reading Loveless. "It's a story about a boy whose older brother was killed, and then this other guy shows up and says he knows who did it. But it's one of the girliest manga you'll ever read."

Naturally, he asked why something like that would be girly. "Well, because it's a love story."

And so he said that it probably wasn't as feminine as I claimed it to be. And I told him to read it and find out. But he's going to have to read the first volume all the way through to win. And like it. To quote myself once again for anyone out there who's never heard of Loveless--

"Now remember, this is the girliest genre out there. It's called YAOI."

And so tomorrow, my straight, homophobic friend is in for the best shonen-ai manga out there.

1. I read magazines back to front even before I started reading manga.

2. I absolutely HATED Death Note the first time I watched it, thinking it was boring.

3. The first anime and manga I got into was DN Angel. Also, the first anime guy I went fangirl over was Hiwatari Satoshi.

4. The only manga I have read from beginning to end is Death Note, although I tend to skip around and watch anime more thouroughly.

5. Like everyone else I have asked, I can not remember how I got into yaoi. All I know is that the first pairing I loved was SasuNaru.

6. This is random, but you know how in Hot Topic, they sell wristbands saying "I nerds"? Well, I'd like to correct that. Nerds are cute, but dorks are hotter.

7. I am greatly annoyed by people that I've met on the Internet that I can easily track down if I feel like it. Especially girls under fifteen. They make me want to bang my head into the wall! It's like they're ASKING for it!

There are two guys I think of as brothers. One asked me to the Prom. I said yes, since he's cool and, well, I did like him like that. But now I think he's in the closet, thus making him ten times hotter, obviously. Still, I accepted it too easily. I don't really like him that way, and I think of him more as brother again. Finicky, ne? I think he thinks he likes me, but I'm POSITIVE he's in the closet. Now, the other guy likes me. And my friends even get the impression we're dating, mostly due to the fact that I blush alot around him because I get worried about giving him the wrong idea and getting mysef into a sticky situation. I don't wanna hurt mah nii-san's feelings! I know what that's like to be rejected. To make matters WORSE, I like another girl who seems to be straight, although I have had a hunch that she's bi...
