I had a mood boost, and Elle did too. I've decided to hold a contest just like Metro's!

Poor little Elle has had her heart broken, and needs a lover for Valentine's Day. I know thats a short period of time, but I don't know how long she can stand the anticipation xD

I had a really bad day today. People were just like...especially irritating. Track sucked, Improv sucked, the train sucked, the weather sucks, and then I come home all like, YAY! THORNS AND METRO'S CONTEST!

and then I see that Elle didn't win.
I'm not bitter, not at all, I'm just regretful. I had a whole other entry that I never really put up. -shrug- Whatever. Coulda woulda shoulda gets me nowhere.

We have let the nation decide, and they decided against a white man in favor of a mixed ethnicity man. This truly is a marker on the road of American history. I'm upset at the delusional masses that think this man will save us all. That he is the political messiah come to lead us to the promised land. You're WRONG . I know this is neither the time nor place for me to discuss politics, but I feel like this is one of the few places I can rant about this without being judged. If I speak anywhere else against Obama, then I will be labeled a 'racist' and a 'black-hater'. I'm sick of it. You're either with him or a white supremecist, and that's terrible.
Not that the other canidate was any more deserving of the title of President of the United States of America. I argue that one cannot A) spend 3 years in a Vietnam PoW camp and come out completely mentally sound and B) pick Sarah Palin as your VP and be expected to be taken seriously. C'mon.
What can I do at this point? My voice doesn't count until I am old enough to vote, so the least I can do is pay attention to what he does. He's a total wild card thus far. I cannot predict what he'll do on issues such as foreign policy, education, and the like. He's only been a senator for a little over a month!
I guess I have no choice but to accept this man and trust in him. He has so many supporters, after all, he must be doing something right. Perhaps I'll be proven wrong next election. Perhaps he will lead us into the promised land and save our country from the almost inevitable ruin that Dubya has us driving headlong at 100 miles per hour towards.

The one positive I can draw from this rant?

The winner of this election wasn't Bush.
I think we can ALL agree that this is a change for the better.

2. Where do you usually sleep? Describe this place.
The bottom bunk of my bunk beds, which happens to be a futon. I sleep in it so often that there's a little depression in the bed where I sleep. It's purple, covered with a rainbow striped quilt. On top of that is a duvet cover that is purple and pink striped, and 4 pillows, 2 pink camo, and 2 striped like the quilt. There's a window by my feet too.

3. Where is the most unusual place you have ever slept?
~TobiasMajere713's bed. xD....and the back of his car.

4. How much do you enjoy sleeping, on a scale of 1 to 100? (1 being "I absolutely despise the waste of time that is spent sleeping" and 100 being "I would rather sleep than live.")
probably 90. Like doomy said, there are some thing you see in real life that you'd miss if you slept all the time.

5. Who do you sleep with?
Myself, my dog occasionally, and ~TobiasMajere713 if he's over late.

6. What do you sleep with?
My pillows, my HUEG duvet cover, a jack skellington doll, and a moose doll.

I gotta be asleep by like, 10:30ish during the week to get up in the morning, but the weekends are up for grabs.

Car ride home, or backstage(like last year)

waaay too long.

nope. just got up. I need to shower though.

The peace, the comfort, the warmth.

My duvet has to be all like, spread out (sometimes the actual comforter inside it gets messed up, and I have to straighten it.), the pillows have to be in the right place. My windows have to be closed.

to dream, and to rest.

15. How many hours do you usually sleep in a night without waking up?
8-9 on a school night, 12+ on the weekends.

I dream about like, really concrete stuff. Like, stuff where the meaning is really obvious.

I start curled up in the fetal position on my left side, then I roll over to my right side, holding a pillow with my arms around it like a person (<333), and then I roll again and lay on my stomach, with one leg pressed between the bed and the wall, and my arm the same way, and the other arm holding my head up.

18. Do you classify yourself as an insomniac?
sometimes.

19. What's the latest you've ever stayed up before going to sleep?
24 hours?

20. What's the longest amount of time you've been asleep without waking up?
until someone wakes me.

a mix of both.

I generally have nightmares, but I used to have night terrors to the point of my not allowing myself to sleep at night. People have come along and made those stop though. I still get them occaisionally though.

Yep. Friday night.

Usually like, in the car ride to school, or on the weekends, while I'm eating.

I snore when I'm sick, and talk when I'm stressed.

Hey guys! I haven't updated in a while, so, HAY.
I've been busy with a shitload of stuff seeing as though soycon is saturday/sunday (IF YOU'RE GOING NOTE MY ASS RIGHT NOW.).

Just wanted to let everyone know about what'd going on this summer as far as my activity on dA. There's going to be a few changes around here, and didn't want to leave all my adoring fans out of the know!

1) This summer isn't going to be like my first summer on dA. I'm going to actually do stuff OTHER than lay around my house and draw. I plan on experimenting with different media and playing around a bit more in photoshop, maybe learning some new techniques.

2) I'm seriously debating making a move to a new account. I don't know why, I just really really want a new account.

3) A new hobby has appeared! Cosplay is my current obsession, and I plan on undertaking a few different cosplay projects this summer. (I'm taking a sewing class to help with this. ^_^) I'll post the cosplay do to list at the end of this journal.

4) I actually have shit to do this summer! I have a job (babysitting 3 times a week), I have drivers Ed, I have a relationship to keep up, and I'm taking a sewing class. Phew!

In between all that I really wanna get my ass on the computer and make sure I say hi to everyone cause I love you all so fucking much.

Its where you say what you want to to absolutely anyone but keep it anonymous. So, here goes.

1. You two. Without you I literally would NOT exist. I love you both so much, but you frustrate me sometimes. You won't let me become the person that I want to be, and you constantly insist on me being the 'normal' girl. I wish you could accept that I'm not your textbook show-daughter, and that I will never be. Love me for who I am, not who you wish I could be.

2. I miss you. A lot. I've known you since like, 3-4th grade, and we kinda fell out when we went to high school. I absolutely love you with every part of me, every fiber of my being. You're like the sister I never got, and always needed. I wish you'd talk to me more often, and I wish we still hung out like we did.

3. I don't know what to think about you. You constantly insist that you can move on and find a new love, when all you talk about is what you 'do' with that person. I think you need a serious reality check to what love really is.

4. GAH. I love you very much too, but I wish you'd lay off a bit. Whenever we are at a free period together, and I'm trying to enjoy my time with my boyfriend, you're very in my face and you compete for my attention. I understand that your intentions are good, but I really wish you'd just lay off.

5. You need to fucking wake up. You act like the entire fucking world is out to get you. We only hate you so much because you LOOK for us to hate you. I can't make you see that you're cool without the pity party act, so I'm just not going to try anymore. It's a lost cause, just like you. I hate you and I want you to leave me and my boyfriend alone.

6. SPAZZYHYPERFRIEND. You're the one person at my new school that shares my hyper, ridiculous, japan-o-phile personality. Even though you're older than me, and I've only known you a year, you made my ACen '08 and Freshman year pretty kickass. LOVEYOU.

7. I don't think you quite understand how much you've taught me. I know we both kinda laugh it off when I say I'm gonna miss you next year, but I think we both know that it's gonna be tough. You taught me everything I know about running a stage and how to act around the theatre kids. Without you, I wouldn't have gotten the courage to keep on auditioning and giving it my all. Thanks for being there for me, big guy.

8. Just like I said in the above dedication, I wish you'd see how much you mean to me. You are LITERALLY the older brother that I need. Sometimes being the oldest in my family is really tough, because everyone looks to me to be an example for Jack and a way to make a name for my family, and I need someone to talk to sometimes. You're always there to listen to my problems and offer really good advice for me and help me feel better. I'm glad that you're not graduating just yet, and that we still have one more year together.

9. Man. I've never actually met you in person, but on dA you've shown that you're pretty hxc awesome. We both gripe about how shitty latin is and both share a love of german, so we'd be awesome friends if you didn't live hundreds of miles away. Maybe we'll eventually get to meet each other. Ich liebe dich ^_^

10. I love you. So much. Truly and completely. You're the other half that I never thought I'd find, when you were right in front of my face for a full summer class and the first couple weeks of freshman year. You're precious to me, and I'd give up everything for you. I didn't think I could actually fall in love at my age, but I truly have and I promise right now that I will never leave you. Ever. I love you.
