Really sorry it's taking me so long to get chapter 2 of Viral up. But there's something kind of big that I wanted to post in tandem with said chapter, but I haven't really had time to work on it. However, it will be really freaking awesome when it's done. Also yes yes colors are still messed up on Macs (new Macs at least) but changing that on the whole site is a bitch process because of the way it's coded. Was gonna get my super-web-savvy friend to help me clean it up since it's a huge mess and then updates will be easier, but we're both too busy ;

Approximately one month left till contest deadline. I know I said I wouldn't push the date back but I might because I'm kind of worried since there's only been one entry and then the prizes are gonna go to waste >.> I mean, less work for me, but it's kind of anti-climactic. Working on a piece of personal art for the site so I'll add an entries page in the same update once that's done.

Yeah I've died because school started. We're making a group film this year so that's kind of terrifying.
Plus I spend most nights during the week at ~tomgeist's place, and I don't have my comp there (desktops are kind of hard to move ). He has a smelly Mac that I don't really like working on.

I've been staring at this website for over a year, it's nice to let other people stare at it too.
Also, I'm holding a contest (for the first time ever!) as celebration for DV finally relaunching! This information is on the site as well, but I felt it helped to post it here :3

THEME

"Downtime"
After working to get ready for the Digimon VIRAL relaunch, the Digi-Destined and their partners are exhausted! The theme for the relaunch contest, then, is downtime. Draw the kids and/or their Digimon just having a good time. Nice group relaxation or a little private time, it's up to you! Note: Drawing more characters does not necessarily increase your chances It just depends on what you're comfortable with! (and who's judging lol)

RULES

- No extreme nudity or anything really inappropriate to the general public! I don't mind that kind of stuff, but I intend to post all of the entries on the site, and I'd like to keep it at least relatively clean Can be suggestive (if that was your idea) but not graphic.
- Art theft WILL NOT be tolerated! Your entries need to be entirely your own work! You will automatically be disqualified if your entry includes art theft!
- Please only submit images, written entries are difficult to judge and will not be accepted.
- Any of the four kids and partners can be included, as well as Zotzmon and Muzenmon
- Feel free to include your own characters, but the Digimon VIRAL characters need to be the focus of the entry
- The prizes were decided with the assumption that entrants are Digimon fans and have their own fancharacters (I'd be amazed if they weren't/didn't). However if a winner does not, then we will discuss and a prize of approximately equal value will be awarded.

JUDGING

The contest entries will not be judged by me! They will be judged by people I know on or offline. Some will be familiar with Digimon and some won't, so if you can't draw in the Digimon style, it won't hurt you.

DEADLINE

December 31, 2009
This is plenty of time, and I will not be pushing back the date!

PRIZES

First Place: Prints of both VIRAL posters, a colored drawing of your human Digimon character with their Digimon from Baby to Champion, and a CD cover of the kid and their Rookie stage.

Second Place: Prints of both VIRAL posters, and a CD cover of your human Digimon character and their Rookie stage.

Third Place: Prints of both VIRAL posters, and a colored drawing of your Digimon's Rookie stage.

The posters are both about 8" x 11.5" in size.

I quit...World of Warcraft!
It was about damn time.
Knowing me I'll probably still draw it, and read the updates on mmo-champion, and buy the books...but just not play the game >_>

I realized that around when I started playing, I stopped making cosplays. And I really like cosplays and sewing D: So ~tomgiest and I are gonna be cosplaying Arthas and (Lich Queen) Jaina x3 I dunno for when, but it's the next project! (Gives us some time to get in shape for Snake and Samus heheh)

Wrote down a to-do list for Viral...it's all boring writing stuff and the first chapter D: I have no more drawing to do;;;; Man I hate the boring writing stuff.

Help me out! I need questions for a FAQ >_< But since I already know everything about Viral I don't know what kind of stuff people would be curious about!

Anime North's this weekend! I was going to make two new costumes... gijinka Breloom and Zoe from Digimon Frontier (Only 'cause she was the only one I had a wig for, I hated Frontier). But between work and raiding and trying to sleep (And DV!) I just don't have the time. So I'm gonna fix up my Tala (Beyblade) cosplay and just wear that.

On the note of Digimon Viral, I've been doing tons of work on it I have some big plans for it that I'm really excited about (read: animation), and I get to start on those after AN.

I think I'm going to run a contest for the Viral V2 launch. Obviously it would be to draw the characters in some way. But I dunno what to do for prizes >.< Opinions?

Today was a great day in Azeroth for minipets >o< Opened the presents on all my alts so my main got all the Winter's Veil minipets, then while I was doing the Outland fishing daily I figured "oh why not, let's try for Mr. Pinchy", and fished him up in the fourth school and his first wish gave me the magical crawdad @___@; (Last time I got him he even glitched and gave me an extra wish, but I got everything BUT the pet)

WoW is excessively boring. I'm probably gonna quit once I get my huntard to 70. Reading up on Wrath of the Lich King has gotten me all excited and WoW right now looks exceedingly boring in comparison.
I haven't even seen anything past Gruul's/Mag's. People are unreliable and lazy and no one wants to run those things now.
Coming back in an instant once WotLK comes out though!

Diablo 3 better not come out at the same time It needs to come out well before Wrath does.

I was Tala/Yuriy from Beyblade on the Friday and Sunday, and Emi from DDR SuperNOVA on Saturday (accompanied by ~tomgiest as Rage).

It amuses me that my views on buying things have changed so much XD Like the dealer's room has nothing I'd want to own. The only thing I bought them was a Scott Pilgrim poster - and that's because it's Scott Pilgrim. So much nicer to own things that people made themselves, it adds so much more personality to it and makes it just that much more special~~

Next con'll be FanExpo in August, so I have three months to finish two World of Warcraft costumes, here goes nothing! >o<

Naruto screenshots: $20
No background charge (duh), they're usually half-body, with simple shading. But the lineart's annoying. Add $3 per character.

No background charge, two half-body characters (usually, I'm not gonna charge more if the whole Digimon's in it or whatever).


I did have to up it a bit. It wasn't fair to me and I felt like a cheap prostitute lul.
No idea how many I'll take on for now I'll close it when I feel it might be too much for me all at once.

I wanted a screen name that was more like my name, and less animu fan. Regardless the old one had nothing based on that (goat in polish+my name+Pazuzu), it just sounded like it.

Gladly I'd have registered with my own name. But alas as different as it is, it's still a name, and is still more than likely going to be taken everywhere. But I've been mulling over the title of an In The Groove song, Xuxa, which I like a lot, and is my name with Xs But that'd be taken everywhere too. So YEAY compromise! Also ITG holds a bit of a special spot in my heart, so at least it's meaningful~

Hopefully I'll be able to get back into the swing of things this way, without a 3,000 Deviations message note hanging over my head and really not wanting to dive into that. Kind of would take a freaking long time.

So yes. 'Tis ~kozu. And I'm here now.
