Over this glorious summer brake I find myself in California with my mom, like every summer. I hope to use this time to work on some of the projects I have in mind. Like the animation ideas that I have (still looking for software though. Again, if you have any suggestions, please tell me!), and the stories that I'm procrastinating on (KS will get mad, but I haven't been following the schedule we agreed on. >-< ). I also got a new camera, (and by "new" I mean new to me. It's my mom's old one) so I hope to post some pretty photos if I can. (This paragraph had too much in parenthesis. It must be annoying to those reading it. I suppose this little bit isn't helping)

On the other hand, I don't have a scanner here so pictures that I draw (if I find time to! TT^TT) won't be posted until after summer. But I promise to post anything and everything else I can.

On a completely different topic: with all this extra time that I don't spend working, I've found myself lost in video games. It doesn't help that my family pitched in for a DSi either (BUT AH LUV EET!!!!!11). So yeah, I've been playing Final Fantasy IV. It's really cool. It, like, has a plot and little movie clips. So it's like a game and an anime all in one. <3 I'm cheating though because I'm using a walkthough to help me with the big boss guys. Yup, I'm a cheater. x3

Speaking of cheaters (I'm really ADD in this entry), my mom doesn't believe that "cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater" is a saying. People say that, right? :-/ I told her that I couldn't have made that up because 1) I'm not that clever with words (if you wanna call that clever) and 2) I remember saying that in elementary school, the small, annoying child that I was. But she doesn't believe me. Help me prove her wrong an comment please?

Anyway, I believe that's all. Hope everyone is having fun in this horribly hot weather. Anyone going to the stunningly boring beach to get their skin burned off? How about a crowded pool filled with small, screaming children? No? Well I'm sure you'll find some way cool off, granted it won't be as exciting as those.

On another note; I'm excited for my chorus performance tomorrow!! XD (Totally random and irrelevant, so if you don't have the time, I won't be offended if you leave) We're doing "Little Shop of Broadway." It's, like, a bunch of different songs from Broadway shows (lots from "Little Sop of Horrors"). It's gunna be fun. I tried out for a part, and got callbacks, but I didn't get it. >:[ Humph. But both of the twins got a part. I don't think that...ugh, I don't wanna sound like I'm just being bitchy cause I'm not in it. I'll stop talking now.

Well, I still haven't gotten those pictures I drew over winter brake. My goodness...I guess I'm just going to have to wait until the school year is over? Rawr! They really are good too. I wish I could scan them...

I also finished my character and two other things. I would scan those, but my dad's computer won't turn on, so I can't scan my pictures, because my scanner doesn't work with my Mac. Hmmm...

Well, I'm sure my dad will fix it when he gets back tonight.

So today in art class we were picking out out pictures from the first nine weeks to sculpt this quarter. Apparently, while I was off in P.E. the class was drawing animals. I obviously didn't have them. I talked to the art teacher near the end of class and asked her what I should do. She said I would have to bring in pictures of animals to draw. Then she asked if I had a sketchbook. I thought of the one I had in my purse, the one I drew all the pictures I've uploaded here in. All my manga drawings. I said yes. If I had to draw some animals in the back, that would be fine. I would just tear them out. Then she said to bring her my sketchbook. I was confused, but got it for her.

She started looking through it and then she had the nerve to do it...she grabbed a page and tore it out of the book. For real, my heart skipped a beat! What the hell was she doing!?!?!? I was so shocked, I couldn't speak, but I felt my face getting hot with rage. She continued to tear out all my drawings. Then she started explaining. She said "I'll hang these up. Although you should stop drawing these animes. It's just copying other peoples work." Ahem, I give those people their credit. I like drawing manga, what's wrong with that? And mostly, if you disapprove of it, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU RIPPING IT OUT?!?! Of course, I was still in shock, and none of this came out of my mouth.

She tore out all my favorites. My Fai and Kurogane one, my FullMetal Alchemist, and the three new ones I had yet to scan because my computer needed to be fixed. Those were great! You guys should have seen 'em! She even tore out one that I had been planing to give as a present. By the time she was done, all those little paper scraps you get from a spiral notebook were all over her desk and I was close to tears. All my pictures...cruelly ripped from their home...She gathered them up and took them away...I should have said something...

1. Those were drawn for me. For my entertainment and to be uploaded here for other manga lovers. Not for the unappreciative, immature, Japan-naive hakujins in my art class. They were meant to stay in the book.
2. She had absolutely no right to do that, ESPECIALLY without asking me first! How hard is it to say "Can I tear these out of your sketchbook?" Then I could have said "No, you may not" and all would be well.
3. I was going to scan them tonight!!! I was going to share them and one was a present! OMFG! That is so not right!

Tomorrow, now that my frozen-from-shock phase is over, me and my friend are going to her room in the morning and getting them back. I'm going to be polite, I'll say all the reason from this journal, just...calmer. I'm going to get them back. That's for damn sure. And if she starts yelling at me for being "rude," well that's was my friend is for...to yell back.

Glad I got this out of my system. No one at school (other then my friend coming with me tomorrow. Thanks Sam!) understood why I was so pissed off. They just couldn't imagine how mad I was. I'm hoping you guys don't judge me too badly. Please understand. Thanks for reading.

Well, to those of you who cared enough to notice (no offense to those who didn't), I haven't uploaded any drawings lately. Well if you must know, I have been temporarily separated from my beloved scanner for the holidays and where I am know doesn't have one at hand (lol). But not to worry, Once I get home I'll upload the ones I've done. I think there are three but I plan to do some on the plane ride back.

I really want to draw some characters from Ouran High School Host Club but something about the style makes it a bit difficult. Everything is just so...I'm not sure, it's hard to explain, but I don't like it.

Another thing I don't like: Fai's (Tsubasa) hair and Watanuki's (xxxHolic) eyes. I hate drawing those.

I could do another section "about me" sorta thing, but...meh, maybe some other time.
