I'M SO STOKED
We are within hours of leaving and every time I see one of the kids going to Creative Connections there is always something shouted along the lines of "____DAYS!" Currently, the countdown is at three... Though Sunday really shouldn't count. Just thinking about this experience makes me stomach flip in circles! I got my pictures matted and I'm about to start packing and WHOO. This week[end] is going to be EPIC.[You have no idea the amount of restraint it's taking not to abuse the caps lock].

i. I did two things I told myself I'd never do. I've dug myself a hole. I'm gonna figure a way out, but there might be some casualties. But basically I kissed this kid who really likes me, but I don't really like him... So now I'm kind of trying to avoid being alone with him, and not feel like a tease. This is totally uncharted territory for me, and I feel like a pretty bad person.
ii. Homecoming was B A M F. Did you know other kids don't care if they look like idiots too? It was awesome. The pics I got made it look like I was at a finely dressed rave. [Also the place of the previously mentioned stupidity].
iii. I applied / was accepted to Creative Connections. CC is basically a weeklong thing-er-ma-bob where you have normal school days / classes specifically oriented around art. So there is about 8 hours of mixed media going on a day & crazy dances at night. It's some time in November and a couple of my friends are going for music so I am S T O K E D .
iv. Europeans! Two weeks bby. I'm basically not really going to school in November, so it'll be awesome.
v. NO SHAVE NOVEMBER. That's right, I'm a supporter.

i. I have not even started the submissions, not that most of you were waiting on pins and needles for them.
ii. I do not enjoy thirteen hour bus rides to Napoli, sleeping on the floor, sucking in the first conference match [volleyball], and then driving another thirteen hours back with out sleeping meds. No divertiste.
iii. I enjoy lists.
iv. I need to make a new dev icon.
v. I have contracted the Rhino Virus.
vi. I think changing the name of the Swine Flu to H1N1 because hypochondriacs think eating ham/pork will give them the flu is stupid. Go eat some raw eggs and figure out what'll really kill you!

viii. I think SkyHD is super awesome compared to AFN.

Anyways, I guess now would be as good as ever to update.
Alrighty, so basically, tons of stuff has happened since my last update.
So, I made the volleyball team, we had an alright season. The girl's on the team thought they were better than what they were, so when we lost, they made it seem like a killer deal. (well, it kind of was, since the school I go to had an eight year streak since the last time the "lady saints" had lost a game). oh well. Anyways, total heart-break when the coach basically cut me from the team before the tournament for no other reason than I wouldn't be "as fun" as some of the other's girl's he took. Fa cullo! (That's right, I'm working on my italian).
So, because of that, I got upset, bombed a few tests, but I had intervention weekend before last when my friend came over, and we basically swapped life stories.
HOWEVER. This also got me into "trouble", as I liked to call it. because during this little tell-all session. I told her who I liked. (Though she says it was obvious)

But, she decided to take it upon herself to tell him, that I like him. Which I totally wasn't ready for. But I ended up telling him the next oppurtunity that I could, so I wouldn't see elementary, getting my friends to tell me I like them, 'stead of telling them myself. BUT THEN. I don't know what happened. Here's basically it:
Me; Yeah, sorry about earlier. She wasn't supposed to tell you I liked you, but she has a huge mouth and doesn't know when to shut up.
Him; Ha yeah, it's cool.
Me; So yeah. That isn't creepy or anything?
Him; Nah, being creepy would having people like that freshman, and [insert other kid's name here] liking me.
Me; Oh, alright. So we're still cool?
Him; Yeah. Here high five.


SO YAR. What in the flippin' world do I do with that? I can't even tell if I've been rejected or not! I've been stressing about it 'cause now I have no idea how to act around him, but I was hanging out with him all weekend... and I can't tell what in the world is happening. Sometimes it seems like he likes me and wants to be near me. And other's its like I'm the plague. Advice?

Other than that, stupid school stuff..

Anyways, stuff that has happened since July 30th.
I got "Gizmo" whose name has actually been changed to "Foo Man Chew" [Foo for short] because we got to know him a little better in the now, four days he's being staying at our residence. Whoot. I'd post pictures of him, but he's a little wiggly guy and all of the pictures he's either looking away, blinking, or blurred.

Also, I am back from Firenze, or whatever it's called, Florence. I got to see lots of interesting things, got to go to the beach. Which made me happy since I've been land-locked for the past five years. [However, there are things on the beach you don't want to see] Also, while I was in the area, we went to Piza, and Cinque Terra. I recommend Cinque Terra, not to much Piza though.

And as of today I've played 16 hours of Volleyball since Monday, and I'm dead beat, and looking forward to another four hours tomorrow. And GAWD! I am as sore as sore can be. Even places I didn't know could be sore and bruised are!
:dies:. Well, hopefully I'll make it, the final cuts won't be 'til next Monday, but I got past first cuts, right?
Anyways, speaking of Monday, that leaves like... Friday, Saturday, Sunday, three days, until I'm imprisoned in the barbed-wired in school [at least this school is painted yellow, so therefore doesn't seem as much like a prison as Falcotrazz]. and I have to admit, I haven't finished all my summer homework. ONLY FORTY PAGES LEFT THOUGH!
I should be okay.

Anyways, these are my excuses for not having any pictures, that and I haven't been satisfied with any of them lately.

I know I just posted a journal yesterday, and being this active is really unusual for me. But a lot has happened today.
Okay, not really, since it's only 1:32, but still!

I am so happy; in Italy there aren't many places to adopt pets like pet stores and refuges and stuff, but luckily, two days ago some one dropped an ity bity, two week old fuzzy, black and white kitten off at the vet.

He's ADORABLE.and tiny. We don't get him 'til August 14 since he needs constant care and needs to be fed every four hours, so eep! But I'm excited.
Mum wants to name him Gizmo 'cause he's a little gremlin.

Also, I went to the hospital to get a shot and stuff, and one of our family friends has recently had to go to the emergency room for some health issues, and so we saw her and her husband there. And turns out that she is currently in surgery to get her gull bladder removed, and they are moving in three weeks.
:[ Sad day.
So lots of ups and downs, and we may not be here for their final departure day, which is mega lame.. We'll have to see what happens.

I', not dead yet, just highly inactive, though I check here nearly daily. I just haven't drawn on the computer much and I guess I'm anti-scanner. Oh wells. You guys will live.
Anyways, a lot has happened since.. well ever.
I'll start off with saying you people fail at advice.
I ask for help on a story line and you all agree I should illustrate a children's book. Gah! Thanks, that's totally what I said.
So I still have yet to come up with anything for that.
You'd think I learn not to ask help and stuff from you guys but whatever, I go again.
I was sitting on the couch doodling on little pieces of paper and I came up with the most brilliant creation. Not really, but I am very pleased with it and the details that I have been able to reproduce.

Also, I am officially a year older! And $300 some odd dollars richer. Horray. I had my birthday up in Germany this year. Munich scares me.. Just like Venice scares me, there are too many tourists.. Oh, by the way, I have a crap load of Venice pictures if you kids want me to upload them. Also, you kids need to go to upstate New York, up by the Finger Lakes, that area is absolutely gorgeous. It's kind of like a little Italy, 'cept the people speak English. It's very nice. My Great-Aunt had her first wedding there in the beginning of July.
So I've done my fair share of traveling, this summer. Now I just need to get my homework done for next year. DX It's getting so close!
