In my case I chose colour, and the insect I looked at had a shiny green and blue body.

So in the end I made a corset, from newspaper, and attatched all sorts of shiny green paper and green cellophane, and laced at the back with green ribbon. I also made some gloves covered in green gems and sequins with green and blue feathers attached.

The photoshoot was fun, we all had to be told what to do and how to pose like models, we also used all sorts of lighting which turned out great.

Tomorrow, off to yorkshire to a sculpture park to draw

Today is not a good day
Ive been soaked ALL day by amazing english weather, and I have to go back out in it in 5 minutes

And Ive lost my GCSE certificates sometime in the past 3 years and now I need them for college (not good!!) but I have all weekend to ransack the house and I could always pay for a new set -__- Im such a prune.
But I WILL get on the art foundation diploma with or without them!! I wont give in!! hahah! ha!

Anyway, Im heading off to a party soon ^^ alcohol, booze pizza yay!

Long time no updates.

Thats because I've been doing nothing, NOTHING since the end of May and am enjoying my free time while I have it yay.

But I'll be starting a new college in September, Art foundation degree, so I think thats gonna eat away all my free time and by xmas I'll be trying to gnaw my own arms off from being driven to insanity by all the work, again yay. (Um, thats not really gonna happen...)
So there wont be a whole deal of my own drawings n stuff on here for a while, but I will be uploading a lot of interesting stuff from my college assignments which I am actually looking forward to
The best part being that some of my best friends and pretty much the rest of my art class, including my friends and are also going to be on this course so it's actually gonna be pretty fun

And it should tear me away from my pokemon addiction which I've developed over the past month xD downloading a gamboy emulator was a bad idea I think...

now i have my summer assignment from college! yay *rejoices* ahem... ok.

so hopefully i should be uploading some 'interesting' pictures of dead bugs and insects, as that is our topic.
i already killed a fly because it was annoying me flying into the window again and again and again and...
so i squished it with a magazine, put it in one of those tubes camera film comes in and IT CAME BACK TO LIFE!

so iv called him 'Nearly Dead Fred'
although i think its dead now, wups.
and then i tried to photograph some bees
i like bees...
but does anyone know how hard it is to get a good photograph of a bee!?!?
it like they know im watching them!
and then fly away as soon as i press the button xD

i also got to veiw some work from students who took the course this year.
pretty exciting and kind of inspiring since at the end of the course some of our work gets displayed at a local gallery, and someone even offered to buy one of the guys pieces!
and another girl got offered a job!
