Finally! For the first time this year, it's rained! And it's gotten a lot colder too. It was even snowing up in the mountains! Wish that would come down here. It hardly rained at all last year. I remember it rained for a week, but just once. It's not raining right now. Actually, it's sunny, but it's cold outside. My brother actually had a field trip today to go up to the mountains, where it snowed. It's not really that far away, but he said there was some patches of snow up there...yay!

That Was Fast

I'm back already! We only went camping for a few days though. We went camping near Crescent City, I don't know if anyone knows where that is. But yesterday, we did do a lot of stuff. We went on this jet boat tour thing, and that was about an hour and a half. And the guy that was driving the boat would spin it around, and my friend and I, and my brother, were all sitting up front, and we got soaked. I wasn't expecting that...back at the camp site, there was some games like ping pong, and other stuff. The temperature was in the low 60's and it was really foggy. I loved it! But now, back home, it's back up to 100 again...I think it's suppose to get cold soon though. I'm hoping it does!

The weekends finally here! And I'm going camping. But It's only for a couple days. We come back on Monday. I'm so happy it's gonna be cold down there! Because the camp place is by the ocean. It's been so hot here, I can't take it anymore! I need to freeze!!! We got a tent trailer not that long ago. Every time I go camping with my parents, I sleep win my grandma and grandpa's trailer, and my parents (and little brother) sleep in the back of our truck. There's a shell on the back of it. I swear, I didn't know how they did that. It must have been hell...but now we have at least something decent. Anyway, I'll be back on Monday. Bye!

Oops, I mean school. Yeah, school is back. I'm a freshman in high school now...the summer went by way too fast. It felt like yesterday school was out and summer vacation started, and now the death trap is back. Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it. I'm sure it'll be okay later. I really hope the math is going to be alright though, because I suck at math. I mean REALLY suck. I'm still just in pre-algebra, and I think that's hard! But my uncle is good at math, and he helps me a lot. I'm gonna be taking some classes like piano lessons and art. I don't know if I should start drivers ed or not. I'm almost 15, so...I don't know. So I'm hoping the school year will go better than I think...

Cruise: It Was Okay

Well, I'm back from that cruise we took to Mexico. Overall, it was okay. It wasn't really exciting. The room was bigger than I expected. On the ship my dad, brother, and I played some mini golf and ping pong...oh, and that had a show called The Newlywed/Not So Newlywed game, and that was hilarious! And then we went to this restaurant, we were "assigned" to go there, but we met these really nice people. They had two daughters, and one of them, who was a couple years younger than me, loved The Nightmare Before Christmas too. I got there e-mail address, so that was good. They live in Reno, Nevada. We were there just last month. So the stops we made in Mexico were Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada. It was so freakin' hot in Cabo! The humidity was like...80%. In Ensenada it was cooler. And my hair got so curly there, because my hair is naturally curly and I get it straightened all the time. Since it was so humid, it curled up just like that and I freakin' hate it! It's so annoying! And everyone says how "beautiful" my hair is and how people would pay soooo much money for there's to look like mine. But I guess people with curly hair want straight hair, and people with straight hair want curly hair. But enough of the hair! In Cabo, at the port there were so many people just trying to sell stuff and begging for money. It was better in Ensenada though. I liked it there better. So if I ever go on a cruise again, I would want to go on an Alaskan cruise because I hate the heat. And once we got off the boat we went to Disneyland one last time, and that was the best part! Even though we were there for only a day. I'm just glad all the huge trips are over now.

...Going Away Again...

Yeah, I'm going away AGAIN. We're going on a cruise, and honestly, I'm not excited at all. Now most people would probably be so excited to go on a cruise, but I'm not. My mom was the one that planned this, and I think we should have planned it for next year. And this drive is gonna be so long because we're getting on the ship in San Diego...we're gonna leave at no later than 1:30 in the morning, and we have to be on the ship at 3:00 pm. So much fun...the only thing I'm looking forward too is we're gonna go to Disneyland one last time for a day when we get back from the cruise, because we're gonna be close to it. It's gonna be so humid on the cruise, and my hair is just gonna poof up. I've got extremely curly hair and i straighten it all the time, but the humidity is gonna be so bad! Oh yeah, and our rooms are gonna be so small! Plus we didn't get a window room, and that makes it worse. I think if I were to go on a cruise, I would want to go on an Alaska cruise where it's cooler because I hate the heat. But I've never been on a cruise before so I don't know what it's like. We usually don't go on trips like this. We usually stay home during the summer, we do go camping every year, but nothing huge like this. Anyway, I'm gonna have to stay up all night since we're leaving so early. My poor dad's gonna have to drive there...

It is done! I finally got my cartilage piercing today! I couldn't believe it, it didn't hurt at all! The guys name was Chris and he was so nice and did a great job! My mom and little brother didn't want to look while he poked the needle through. They missed the best part. My hair dresser, her name is Jenny, she got her lip pierced at the same place I went to, and she told me that I should go there to get it done. She said that Chris was great and she didn't feel the needle go through her lip either. I'm sure my cartilage piercing will be sore late, but it'll be fine. I'm so happy I got it!

Reno, Nevada: There and Back

Stuff

Hi! Sorry I haven't been on for a while. We went to Reno in Nevada for a couple days. My mom, dad, brother, uncle, and grandma went. Overall, it was very boring. Since I'm not old enough to gamble, there was nothing to do. There was an arcade in the hotel and I played some stuff in there. Most of it's just crap...my brother couldn't get away from the arcade though, but he's only 8. My mom won about $500 though and that was really good. No one else won anything big. Oh yeah, when we were eating dinner, my parents, my uncle, and my grandma were playing Keno. When we were done, my uncle left to go gamble a little, then later my mom and grandma went to find him. My mom was still holding on to her Keno card and she looked at one of those boards with all the numbers and saw all her numbers were on the board. We're all really excited because she would win about $1500 but when she went to go check to see if she really won that much, the guy said she didn't win it because it was the gold game and she was playing the blue game! That really sucked! But that's gambling for you I guess. I don't think it's really that fun to go to Reno anymore, but whatever.

Back from Disneyland

Wow, that went by way to fast! We stayed for four days , but it seemed a lot quicker than that. We got there at about 3:00 pm on Friday, June 22, then we got home on Monday night, at about 9:00 pm. The traffic down in Los Angeles was hell! It was so backed up, we waited about 2 hours before we got to Anaheim, which would have taken maybe 10 or 20 minutes. But anyway, I had so much fun! It's changed a lot since the last time i've been there. They even brought back the submarine rides, but they have Finding Nemo on it instead. I didn't go on that ride though, because the lines were huge! And I went to the California Adventure park for the first time! Ok, here's all the rides I went on and how many times I went on them-

Oh yeah, and I bought a crap load of Jack Skellington stuff! I got a 2 hats, a shirt, 2 jackets, earrings, Jack and Sally dolls, a car antenna ball, a jack bracelet, and probably some other stuff that i forgot. Oh, and my dad got a Jack beanie hat. And I took some pictures, but they're not developed yet, so i'll have them up as soon as they're ready.

Leaving for Disneyland

Finally! It took long enough! We're leaving to go to Disneyland in Anaheim, California today. We're gonna leave at about 5 pm. We were gonna leave tomorrow morning, but my parents thought it would be a good idea to leave early. It takes about 8 hours to get there from where we are. So what we're gonna do is probably go halfway there and spend the night somewhere, because if we were to keep on driving and not stay anywhere, we would get there at 1 or 2 in the morning. But not for long! I'm going to Oregon for the weekend so I'm not going to be here for a couple days. We are leaving tomorrow at 3 or something close to that, because my brother is in school tomorrow. And I think I'm coming back on Sunday or Monday. I forgot what my mom said. And I might see Shrek the Third while I'm up there too. It's really pretty where we are staying, so I want to take a lot of pictures. My mom, dad, and evil brother are staying in our truck. It has a camper shell on it, and I get to stay with my Nana and Papa in there awesome trailer! Yay Actually my mom, dad, and brother might stay a night near the coast and then come back, but I don't know. I hope they do because my brother annoys the shit out of me. Oh yeah, and there's a zoo down there, so I'm going there too. We go to it every year. I'll talk to you guys later.
