Last weekend i was at the IPMS Telford model show like i do every year, but this year i decided to enter in the competion, more specificaly the fantasy diorama catogory to which i won a silver and bronze medal, The figures i entered where my "Defiance" And my finished Malus Darkbalde and spite figure. Also my Scifi and fantasy model stand got 3rd in the show out of the 600 other stands there o3o.... so im deffinetly entering next year with the new kits i bought, Kingidra 72nd scale, Hydrolisk from starcraft, a dragon head bust and a wing gundam zero ^w^ so i came back with a good haul ^w^ happy yami *sqweeeeeeee*

Why did you join this site?
Well for a start to see if anyone would like my art … as I was tired of the asking the same few people in high school and college of what they thought But also to learn new styles and techniques, I’d never thought of painting with Photoshop till I joined D.A

What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
Weeeeeelllllll… It was originally from my ancient gaia account. Yami (aka dark yugi and bakura were both early anime favs of mine* But obviously someone had that name so I added cool to the end. Some interpret it as Y-am-I-cool To be honest I never noticed that…but that’s just one of those dyslexic things

Another amazing entry from which is so graceful and i dont know why but i have a feeling people realy realy like tobias ..maybe its just me *shrugs*

Mawhahahah something to cheer me up after being so amazingly ill for the past few days.,..well still am but well enough to draw .... none the less I finally get to display some of my models at the I.P.M.S convention !!! *dances for joy*..which includes the Morga and zenith model set and the screaming banshee diorama......yay my models are going to be placed along side some of the best sci-fi fantasy modelers i know ....more so i get to see some of the new works from Forge world! And hopefuly get my hands on another evangelion kit or a tachikoma ^^ (think tank).....mawhahah nect year the competion and after that the world!!!! ^^

....... because I can....lolz

okay...i've kinda got the hang of the the whole subscription thingy *huggels stamps* but i have recently had my art displayed in a local art and crafts festival and the response was good ...the morga pin up caused a lil' confusion ...but Crow and the Gothmog Warrior went down well same with my ole' sephiroth dragon from my early dev days ..*ahhhh memories* so hopefuly i'll be selling prints there next year ....
Work has been demanding with all the covers..so i've done 40 hrs in 2 weeks...dosent seem much to be true but for my first part time job its draining and the hours..are...well all over the place from the crack of dawn or the encroaching night.... but enough of me boring you guys with my waffeling

Da extract
Another lil' sneak from my book in progress Dragon's Tear...i've probably bored you all to death with this ..more so that i posted some parts up for the comp.....so i thought i'd like to hear what you thought about my precious Karu...well actuly Dark Karu..A.K.A The Watcher...enjoy

Looking around she made her way through the thinning trees to the lakeside. Her eyes still adjusting to the darkness. Her gaze fell upon the scene before her, clearly she could see Tobias’s silhouetted figure lying limp on the ground his horns reaching up into the air while his tail hung limply. What on earth has happened! And where was Karu, turning she was met with the horrid sight, there sprawled out on the ground was Naguro, upon him was what she could only guess was Karu.
“Karu? Is that you?” She murmured unsure to speak any louder. The figure looked up with a puzzled air before removing itself from Naguro. In its clasp was Naguro’s limp severed arm, the blue blood glittering like sparkling water. Yuki’s chest tightened at this sight. He said he couldn’t move let alone rend someone’s arm clean off or did Tobias do that? In a few glimmering seconds he was before her, the pitch black of the hollow eyes seemed to rival the darkness of the night, glared down upon her. His presence so demanding. This couldn’t be Karu he’d just shy away. She looked up at the bone mask that teased around his face, the large fangs hanging down from its edges. That wasn’t the normal Karu look that’s for sure. And his hair it was all over the place flowing in streaming reels of purple. And his ears….something brushed her feet and her gaze quickly dropped to the floor. His tail? He did say he would change a bit but this was odd. Looking up she was only met with a courteous smile, small fang like teeth teasing at the parted lips.
“Hello precious.”
Precious? This is just one of those days isn’t it? When everything is a bit off the norm. Well for one thing big scary demons don’t normally give a helping hand and Karu doesn’t call her precious either. Yuki sighed and shook her head.
“Karu? What happened?”
“Hmmmm? Nothing much,” He shrugged “I only subdued the pair.”
“Subdued them!?! Tobias is collapsed on the floor looking like he was in some pub brawl and Naguro has his…his arm missing!”
“You mean this one?” He waved the severed limb in front of her. Yuki covered her mouth as she felt ill, her gut tightened and tying itself in knots. “It was only because he would not listen, I needed to get the message across.” Karu tossed the limb aside and wrapped his arms around her. “Be glad now that you are safe.”
Yuki tensed, this definitely wasn’t Karu, she slowly reached up and grasped one his arms and tried best to remove it. It did not move, she couldn’t get him to release his grasp. She could feel his embrace tightening, and all she could so was struggle.
“Karu let go!”

First off a huge thankyou to who was so kind to donate a subscription..with which i'll test out as much as possible...( Lu you have no idea how much this has cheered me up ) ....but onto the other points one my job is much harder than expected but i was asking for it putting myself up for as many hours as i have before i start college again in sept...im just hoping to get enough money backed up so i can pay for varoius college fees ...the strting art kit for my course is £100 ...but thanks to the job i finaly got my mits on a sehpiroth and vincent valintine figure..not the 6 inch but the realy big articulated ones

well ive have become..well have been strapped for cash since..well suince the year dot to be honest and i know i keep saying about these comissions but i just never get them sorted.........but for the mean time i will only be excepting uk based comissions till i work out mailing and shipping costs..ya yada....*rolls eyes*.......understand that thses are not free ¬¬ or that would defeat the whole purpose of raising the money for my college equipments (£125 smakers for the course kit -.-) and also money to put towards the print costs for my run of prints.....

Digetal portriats *gives me a chance to parctise *
these will be £20 for the time and effort required and i will do one character per protrait and it is down to the shoulders..so pretty much a bust style pic ¬¬...the finished product would then be emailed to you when finished

these will be done on A4 bristol board (not cheap i tell you ¬¬ with indian ink and dip pen technical pen...in my odd inky sketchy stlye...this can be up to THREE characters with simple back ground. the cost for this would be £20-£30 varible, P& - £5

this again will be bristol board with ink and karisma pencils, again up to THREE characters but more may be added depending on request and will vary the base price £25-35 P& £5

line art
no shading what so ever just simple ink line work on bristol board singal character or characters Two max....£10-15 P& £5

Okay really needing the extra dosh for my art materials and for my university fund -_-... so i have come to do comissions as job hunting so far has failed big time.

Aplications for comission are only open to uk deviants at the moment till i find out how much the charge is for currency conversion....as im gonna be having payment..BY CHECK...as pay pal is anoying me -_-...so check.

comisions can be of any of my character, yours, mythical creature and deitys and some scifi stuff *specific requests require reff info or images*

All drawn on A4 - A5 bristol board white paper, colour with karisma pencils.

Latly there has been many worries of Dragon's Tear being theived, or the risk of that happening with its growing popularity ....and i do not wish a story ive been working on for...well forever to be ripped off by someone else a too big a risk to take, but also with the plans of possible publication posting the whole thing on dev would deffeat the object -_-....Many of my friends and family agree and wish for it to be removed so i do not get harmed by those who are theiving sneaks with no morals or dignity what so ever!!!!
i must send my thanks out to ...who has been helping me edit the internet postings of Dragon's tear. As he has helped me so much during my early and very wobly steps of the story ....

but do not dispair so quickly for those who have been reading my story i will be keeping it up for a month befor it is removed but some of the earlyer chaps are going today ... and do not worry i and tobias .co will not be leaving you i will still be posting their pictoral exploites

well it would explain my very pale skin ...but whoo fluffy feathers and long hair of doom..but...im not sure on this skin tight leather¬¬


2. How would you handle the situation?
hmmmmm well learning how to fly would be the bonus i guess...hmmmm *flaps all four wings awkwardly*

i have also come to consider that artfor me is a somewhat lonely thing as not many at my college do any fantasy or anime art as such (what i know of anyway ) but i was sat in the refectory drinking and eatting ...as you do ¬¬...and listening to one of the "cool" students playing his guitar and entertaing all the others...and i was simply sat there on my own in a hidden corner thinking..WHY?.... why does my art seem to only entertain a very small group..okay if someon passes by and looks over my shoulder i hear no end on how good they think it is ...(yeah im waffling...im aloud too -_-) ...but it really makes me feel that i really should be pushing at getting my art sold and getting the comic or story published ><.... as i feel honestly like i have not achieved anything so far with this life of mine -__-...yeah im one of those invisble people who everyone has to mock because i dont fit the sterotypes...(stupid sterotypes)..and of course for some strange reason being a red head seems to give everyone the excuss to mock me -_-..which is totaly unfare.......

Well to celebrate getting out of hospital i decided to do a new comp ^^ hoorah and dont worry im now workin on the prizes from last time ^^
