EDIT: felt like editing instead of creating a new journal xD recently i've been working super hard to save money for june and animenext hotel it's been really long days I haven't had any time for art T^T I'm still very very far from my goal of at least getting the money for the anext hotel because of some unexpected bills I really hate this economy! -.- it's really hitting me hard!

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been active I've been working nonstop to get some items up on my sales journal
and it's finally set up!!

there was soooooooooooo many things to take photos then edit the photos then edit them some more D: it was way more work then I thought!
I listed a TON of furoku's from older nakayoshi and ribbons, furoku are these neat gifts you get inside the magazine when you buy it and these items are now pretty rare!
stuff from series like Full moon wo sagashite, time stranger kyoko, kaito Jeanne, tokyo mewmew, da!da!da! etc and over 100+ items are only $1! There is so many neat items I wish I could keep but right now I need to clear everything ASAP actually it needs to be out of my space by June 8th or else I'll not have any room to fit my fiancee's stuff xD

Hey everyone!
my current project is taking soooooo much longer then I expected T^T I'm not even done taking the photos and I've taken over 800!! then I need to edit them all, upload and update my sales journal and hope someone buys them so I can clear some space *suffocating here*
I've been too busy with it to get much else done online -.- Sorry for the delay in reply's everywhere and in activeness! I also haven't been able to get to any personal art *snif* and after all this is cleared I have some rl things to take care of and the race to get ready for june and animenext continues xD
I'm really excited because Kanon Wakeshima is going to be at otakon this year!!!!!! she was the only act I was hoping for, for 1.5 years now xD I knew she'd come over at some point, just seems obvious, but I'm so psyched!! I really love her music and can't wait to see the concert! man otakon this year is going to be crazy but awesome! Vamps on Thursday night, Kanon wakeshima on Saturday and there's more guests to come also *.*
But i'm kinda (super freakin) irritated cause they are taking FOREVER to finally get the stupid artist alley open and I just can't go to otakon even if GLAY showed up unless I have a table and a way to make back some money for the trip I'm just not rich enough to blow 1,000.00 with no return on 1 weekend anymore D:

it was time to clear the last journal from the front page. I decided to stop caring and wait and see in 1 month time alot could happen, it could fade away or get worse. We'll see what happens till then there is ALOT to do! I'll just busy myself and work hard since I know my fiancee is also working very hard right now.

I'm doing some new fan art. I was considering some more popular series like hetalia and kuroshinjitsu but the problem is I don't really like those series enough. I watched a bit of both and don't really understand xD LOL I think I'll try to fill some requests people gave me during artist alley last year and think on series I really like
But what do you guys think, in my style what series do you think I should do? I'm curious what the response would be
But I won't do a lot of fanart because some conventions are putting caps and bans on it, best not waste time right? for otakon I'll have to think carefully on what fanart to bring. Theres a 500 max cap on all fanart items. xD
argh today I have to clear alot of work before I can go back to drawing. I want to finish 2 sketches I did last night, one is a fashion sketch and the other is of my 2 Oc's aya and Nicholas, and I just adore the image so far they both look so cool!
after that I also need to take picts of things I have to clear/sell away and straighten up my area. argh too much work to do and a couple days of feeling sad and not sure what to do didn't help xD

My plans for the summer, anext, seeing my fiancee, and my engagement party are no longer set and could be changed at any moment cause of this...it's too depressing
I wish it would all hurry up and blow over so I can have a happy summer plan again -.- Singapore government is being harsh about this but I also can't blame them, they are actually protecting their people!

I'm getting very anxious about this years anime conventions. I am confirmed to be going to Animenext, zenkaikon and animeusa despite my worries on the economy which actually is a worry for me since my town's job pool has dryed up leaving me with no income. I can only hope to make some money during the con's but have nightmares about selling nothing and not being able to cover my costs D:

wtf? so now a convention guest has canceled due to worries on swine flu which makes me really worried alot of attendee's and guests to conventions I'm actually going to will cancel their con plans due to swine flu and the economy..
and I also discovered that my fiancee will face some trouble to visit me this June which includes thermal scans and quarantine for inbound travels from effected areas. I feel bad to make him come to my crappy country now -.-;
I understand why everyone is being cautious and all, It's good to be cautious from what I heard its mostly harmless right now but they are worried it could mutate to something not harmless hence other country's panic.
But all of this makes me very stressed, people were already holding back due to the falling dollar and all that shit so why must there be a new virus too? -.-;

btw this whole stupid topic has had be depressed all damn day! xD

EDIT: and now my fiancee said he will wait and see what his government does, the government is encouraging Singaporeans to postpone travel as much as possible so he might have to postpone since the airline is allowing postpone, destination change and cancel at no cost.
I want him to be safe but hearing this breaks my heart. It's so selfish but it's true..I should be strong and say I've waited 2 years since we're last together whats a few more months? But it still breaks my heart..
why must this crap happen?

I decided to make a plushie the other day in my free time. I have never made one before and my sewing skills consist of knowing how to thread a needle, and 1-2 types of hand stitches. sewing machines hate me HATE me. seriously it's like some strange grudge >.>;

well she's done -.- It turned out funny but not bad I guess?



the legs and arms are out of portion lol but I tried T^T I wanted to make it like the bunny and teddys I draw. I drew the "pattern" by drawing a teddy large then cutting 2 peices of cloth with the paper cut out. Then I sewed it up pillow fashion. I ended up using a sharpie to draw on a face and then added the blow clip to cover up the unfortunate mistake of leaving the head to be the place for the closing stitch after stuffing xD
it's my first ever plushie. Hand sew with 2nd grader skills xD took about 3 hours.

be kind with your comments any advice is good too I think I should go find a sewing book one of these days..

I wonder what I should do with the rest of the fabric..I might try just doing a head. This fabric was from last year when I first got the idea but never got the time to try it.

I haven't been as active online (as i'd like) last 2 days because of a heatwave in the area, it went from like 40 degrees to 90 D: I can't take it!! It's not that it's super humid and hot its just the hugh change in temp is bad. I tend to get heat sick and migraines when this happens so this is not fun times ;_; what really sucks is i'm all out of migraine med and even forcing 8 cups of water a day down my throat cannot keep the migraine from coming.

I just planned a engagement party for me and die kun. I have a feeling no one will give a damn or show up but whatever I want to celebrate my engagement formally at last, It's been 4 years I'm entitled to a party!

Oh also right now I'm working on a pict of my original charas aya and sayana, which some of you might remember. I didn't get time for 2 days to finish the color and while I'm super tired right now I cleared all my work so I think I'll try to do the color tonight. Recently I'm listening to the twilight soundtrack and an evanescence cd while drawing I wonder why I suddenly like American music lol sometimes it's good but it's so hard to find bands with music that I don't find really boring. I really like music I can sing along to xD I really don't know why I took a liking to the twilight soundtrack although the song on there by paramore (is it?) is pretty good the Blue Foundation song also.

I wont be using this website anymore, in short I disagree with their submission policy's. In length they deleted my artwork for having a noticeable tag over it and I got seriously pissed off. It's a shame but yeah, I'm pretty sensitive about my tags, they are there to protect my artwork and they aren't going anywhere.
The account will stay open to help the person I signed up for but I deleted the rest of my artwork from their server and won't be logging in again.

Since otakon seems to be getting closer to artist alley being open I was thinking about the hotel. Does anyone need a place for otakon?
We have a booking for a room at the Days Inn, checking in Thursday and checking out Monday. It's 545.00US (total not per night) divided equally and so far it's me and my sister and maybe 1 other person who I need to check with. I don't want like a billion people in there but I'm pretty sure moneys gonna be tight so if anyone here needs a room or knows a person who does please message me

TIP: for those of you working on your own manga here is the most important thing you must do at all times. Buy a folder or a case or some sort and store every single note, paper, doddle, art etc for your manga in it so that 10 years later when you want to look over it all and think about how to update it and how you want the story to go you don't do what I did last night and go through your entire room then give up and feel like crying!
The sad thing is I've looked EVERYWHERE but theres so much important things missing :sad:

Does anyone else keep everything you ever draw like I do? -.- it's really sad I remember going through stuff and throwing out stupid doddles and ugly things before but last night I found 1,000 more worthless artworks and WOW i was such a NOOB i found my first ever portfolio and daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn all my work was rushed and unfinished and if I added color it was so little color -.- it actually made me feel worse about myself because I rem thinking that this stuff was so good but now that I see it again I never even took the time to get my lines to flow in the same direction! I also noticed my eyes used to be alot more precise I have gotten lazy since I want to go backward on that a bit.

Also who here is going to animenext? and is anyone else worried that their website is down so often? It's making me alittle anxious -.- I was gonna try for that t-shirt contest but then the website was down so for long I couldn't finish the pict since there was no references anymore or info on how to submit. whatever though they wanted digiart anyway.

EDIT: found my missing papers!! and also 2 how to draw manga type books I don't remember buying, a set of 18 water colors by proart that I do not know where it came from at all and a buncha manga manuscript paper again DO NOT REM BUYING! D: I feel like a moron but hey at least it's good surprises

I just got the email that my application to Animenext has been accepted! I'm so excited I was worried that I'd be wait listed since I applied like 1/2 a day from it opening xD I'm so relived just have to wait for them to tell me when to pay. I'm still very hopeful that my fiancee will be in town during then also.
So far that makes me confirmed for animenext, zenkaikon and anime usa hopefully Otakon will open soon as well.

I finally plan to set aside some time today to catch in in DA and OOMGOMGOMG finish some art xD I'm not sure how far I will get though because I seem to have hurt my back during sleep D: how did that happen? That an my cough is back and I sliced my toe last night is making me feel really unlucky and unhappy today -.-
My fiancee sang happy birthday at 1230am last night so I should be happy but I really miss him and wish we can celebrate in person T^T So far this birthday sucks But maybe I am over reacting It's still early...

I could so use some cheering up xD
