A few days after the move one of our dogs died. Her passing was very sudden- she had been acting weird [her entire life] but we thought it was just Echo being Echo. Unfortunately she was having mini-strokes and small seizures her whole life, [not one single vet we'd ever seen gave us any reason to believe that] and one of them finally was so bad she just flopped over like a fish, started convulsing, then went comatose and... that was it... there was nothing to the vet could do...
Her ashes are now resting in the china cabinet in the dining room. The move is coming up this weekend and I am super excited to finally be in our new house! =D
Unfortunately I threw my back out last night and there is work to be done, so I'm kind of taking it easy for a few hours, but I feel guilty for taking a break. ^^;
My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this Sunday- we did a dinner and a movie thing and I had to say it was a lot of fun. ^^
[We do the dinner and a movie thing so rarely it was a nice treat for us.]

In my last journal entry, I went on a long rant about how I almost dropped out of the competition I was in, because in the first round, I came in second to an unfinished pic.
For this round...only I and one other contestant managed to turn in entries on time, so the race is down to us two.
